Baro P.O.V

Urgh history, my worse subject.

The teacher was babbling about some dynasty, I couldn’t even keep myself awake.

Don’t sleep, Baro. Do not sleep.

Can’t take it anymore, I hide my face behind my book, pretending I was reading it.

One minute won’t hurt….

Gosh I’m so hungry. What should I eat after school? Oh I’ve been craving for pasta, or maybe some pizza? How about…

Suddenly someone kick my chair causing me to stand up.

“Cheese burger.” I blurt out.

Everyone burst out laughing.

“Sun Woo-shii, this is history, not some cooking class.” The teacher said.

“Sorry.” I bowed and turn around. Mi Sun was laughing with both of her palms covering .

“That’s not funny!” I hissed, but she keeps laughing.

When she smiles, her eyes tend to smile with her.

Even though I just embarrassed myself in front of the whole class, seeing Mi Sun laughing makes me forget about it.

She stops laughing and claps her hands together. “Sorry, I just wanted to wake you up so you won’t get caught.”

I reach over and ruffle her head. “It’s okay.”

“Sun Woo-shii, first you sleep in my class, now you’re flirting?”

There was another round of laughter. I mentally face palm myself.

Thank goodness the bell rang. The teacher just pointed her ruler at me. “Don’t do that again in my class.”

I sigh and buried my face in my hands.

“Cheese burger haha!” I heard Gong Chan and Sandeul’s signature laughter from the back.

“Were you hungry? We should have some later!” Sandeul added.

I groan and hit my head on the table. “I. Hate. My. Life.”

Suddenly I felt someone placing their hand on my forehead.

“Doesn’t that hurt?” she said, pushing my face up.

My eyes widen as she bends down and rub my forehead.

So close.

She suddenly smiles and tapped my forehead. “Let me rename you as cheese burger in my phone.”

“Good idea Mi Sun!” Sandeul said and they high fived.

I groan again. “Get out! I don’t want to see you people right now!”

“Aw…Baro is embarrassed.” Juri said. “I need to record the time and date.”

Mi Sun laughs as Juri took her notebook out. I secretly smile to myself as she shook her head and took the pen from Juri, smiling to herself as she writes.

I can never get bored of that smile.

Mi Sun P.O.V

“Alright, one last round and we’re done for the day.” Our track team coach said. She then turns to us. “The four of you, keep practicing relays.”

“Yes coach!”

“Alright listen up.” Juri said, gathering me and the other two members.

“You’ll go first, then Mi Sun, then you, then me.”

We all nodded and started jogging to our position.

“We need to win race tomorrow!” she yells from the end.

I exhaled and got into position. One hand holding the timer, I pressed the start button and ran.

“Ah…” I blew my fringe up. “How come I still can’t break my own record?” Looking down at the timer.

“That’s because you’ve been running for the pass 20minutes without breaking.”

I gasp and turn over.

“Jin Young oppa.”

He swings his bag over his shoulder. “Still practicing? Isn’t it over?”

“Yeah, just testing.” I said. “Wait a minute, have you been watching me?”

He opens his mouth and closes it. “A little.”

“Creepy.”

“Not, it’s concern.” He corrected.

I nod my head, trying not to smile. “So! Race you back there?”

He squint his eyes and looked ahead. “100meters?”

“Yup.”

He loosens his tie and places his bag of the ground. “Ready?”

I laugh. “You bet.”

Jin Young P.O.V

Damn, she’s fast!

She turns around and pointed at me laughing as I crossed the finish line.

“Hmm, not bad.” She said, nodding to the timer.

“There’s a reason why I’m not on the track team.” I said, lying on the grass. “Ouch.”

“What’s wrong?” she asks.

“My leg.” I said, massaging it.

She bends down to my level. “There’s a reason why we warm up before we run.”

I gave her a look as she laughs.

“You’re so red right now, oppa.” she said.

I sigh and lay down on the grass. “Wake me up when you’re done.”

“Ew, you’re gonna be bitten by the bugs.”

Mi Sun P.O.V

I continue running as Jin Young just sit and watch me from far.

I check my timer again.

Wow, this is far from my current timing. Maybe I should really stop.

I jog back towards the starting point and saw Jin Young standing up.

He held his thumb up, nodding his head.

I face mine down and shook my head.

He then laughs and motion me to go towards him.

“You need to rest.” He said.

“Yeah, I think so too.”

He pushes my hair to the back and cupped my face. I gave out a nervous laugh.

“Now you’re the one looking red.” He said.

Was he referring to the running red face or the blushing red face? Because I think it’s both.

“Track meet tomorrow?”

I nod slowly.

“Well, it means you won’t even be in school.”

I nod again with his hands still on my cheeks.

“Good luck for tomorrow, you can do it.” he smiles. I smile back.

Suddenly he started coming closer and closer. I quickly held his hand preparing to push him away but he beat me.

He planted a soft kiss in between my brows.

Gong Chan P.O.V

“Thanks for helping man.”

“No problem.” I said to my classmate as we left the library after studying together.

I check my watch. Track practice should be over, but Mi Sun might stay back.

I start walking towards the field. To my surprise I saw two people.

Jin Young? What is he doing with her?

Mi Sun’s back was facing me.

I walk down the steps ready to call her name, but what I saw stop me.

Did he just, kiss her?
