Jin Young P.O.V

Damn you Sandeul! Why do you have to drag me away?

“Sunbae-nim, you can sit here.” The girl name Chaerin told me.

“Thank you.”

“Oh! They’re here!” Sandeul pointed.

Mi Sun and Juri squeeze through the crowd and walk to us.

“Wow, its pack!” Juri said, sitting down on the bench.

“Hello.” Mi Sun smiles at me. I smile back.

More students were coming in. Even our school’s team mascot was waving the flag.

Suddenly, the crowd started cheering when the players from our school walked into the basketball court.

“Why am I feeling so nervous?” Mi Sun said.

“You’re not the only one.” I told her.

We spotted the three boys and called out their names. They turned around and waved at us.

Then I saw Mi Sun pointing her index finger out towards them.

And I realized Gong Chan was doing the same.

Baro P.O.V

“Hyung!” I whined.

“Stay strong! This is the same like every other game we’ve played.” Shin Woo said, patting my back.

“Okay. You can do this, baro!”

I turned around and saw Gong Chan waving to the crowd. I looked up and saw the girls.

Then Mi Sun pointed her finger out, and Gong Chan was doing the same. He laughed and pumps his fist to her, waving while he put his bag down.

“What was that?” I asked.

“What was what?”

“You guys were pointing fingers.”

“Ah, this?” he held his index finger up.

“It’s like a good luck thing. We always do this.”

He then held up my finger and pointed his at mine.

“Hmm, this remains me of the show E.T.” I said.

“Yup!”

“Boys, gather around.” Shin Woo called.

Gong Chan nodded at me. I nodded back.

Mi Sun P.O.V

The game started. Okay, it started few minutes ago actually. I was busy shouting and screaming like everyone else.

The opponents were good, but they are very rough.

Shin Woo got the ball and started running, passing the ball to a boy with No. 7. He ran pass No.4 and passed the ball to Gong Chan.

“Ommo Channie! Behind you!” Juri yelled.

It’s like Gong Chan heard her, he shoot the ball before the boy could even snatch his ball away.

And it entered.

“Yes! Yes!” I heard Sandeul yelling from the side.

The game continued. I feel like I wasn’t even breathing. I mean, three of my friends are playing right now, how could I not be nervous for them?

Baro stole the ball from No.5 and ran. He passed to Gong Chan and he shots again.

“Score!” Jin Young yelled.

“He’s good!” Juri said, hugging my arm.

I could only nod.

The referee blows the whistle. It was half time break.

Our school score 45, the opponent got 43. It was really close.

“Gosh, Gong Chan looked tired.”

I looked down at them and saw Gong Chan drinking water and pouring some over his head. He was nodding as their coach was talking them.

I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Today, he’s like a different Gong Chan I knew since we were a kid.

I had never imagined the cute little Gong Chan who loves cute things more than me has grown up to be so matured.

I never really knew that he was that good looking either.

He wipes his sweat with a tower and stretches his arms.

Wow, he’s been working out a lot huh. He looks kinda hot.

Did I say hot?

Jin Young P.O.V

“No!” Sandeul yelled when the opponent scored again.

Our school is 8 points behind.

“This is bad.” Mi Sun said.

“I think they’re tired.” Juri said.

“More like playing dirty. Look! He just elbowed Shin Woo!” Mi Sun pointed. “Why isn’t the referee doing anything?

So I wasn’t the only one noticing it.

“Yah! He tripped him!” Mi Sun said. “This is not fair, I need to-”

“Hey.” I said, taking her arm. “These kinds of things always happen. We can’t do anything about it.”

“But-”

“Let’s just cheer for them, alright?”

She looks at me and sighs. “Okay.”

Just then, Shin Woo’s ball manages to enter the loop.

“Oh my gosh! Yay!” Mi Sun starts jumping.

I almost forgot I was holding her hand.

She looks down at her arm and then back to me.

“S-sorry.” I said.

“You’re shaking.” She said, taking my hand.

Oh no, don’t! Please don’t let her feel my pulse.

She held my hand in hers. “Nervous eh? Me too.”

She turned back towards the boys and started cheering with Juri.

I look down at our linked hands.

Never had I imagine she’ll be the one to hold my hand first.
