Mi Sun P.O.V

I yawn as I reach for a mug in the cupboard.

The door swings open and I saw my mom holding a bunch of letters.

“Morning dear.” She said, kissing my cheek.

“Morning mama.”

“Is he still asleep?”

I nodded.

After dinner last night, the boys came over to my house as they wanted to see how it looks like. Gong Chan fell asleep on my bed while playing games so I let him stay in my room while I take the guest room.

Of course, Baro chased the rest of the boys back to his house.

“Honey, you have a letter.”

I swallow my coffee. “Me?”

My mom nodded and handed me an envelope.

“Oh. You can read it.” I said.

“Mi Sun.”

“What?”

She sighs and opens the envelope. There was a small paper inside the wedding invitation.

“My lovely Mi Sun.” my mother started reading.

“I’m so proud to call you my daughter. To have u standing up there with me is the best wedding gift I can ever imagine.”

“What a lie.”

My mom looks up from the letter. “Could you stop behaving like this?”

“What?” I said. “Since when children attend their parents wedding? That’s just wrong.”

She pulls out the chair and sat opposite me.

“I know you’re thinking about me, and I love you for that.”

I shrugged my shoulders.

“But this is a day of happiness for your dad. I want u to brace that, and the same way you would brace it if I found someone I love.

That’s….quite true.

“I’ve never told you this but, your father did call once in a while to ask me about you. He does send money to us too.”

“How come you never told me about this?”

“I guess I was mad at him for leaving us too.”

I continue drinking my coffee.

“Your father really loves you.”

“How sure are you?”

She smiles. “If he doesn’t, I won’t even bother letting him invite you to his wedding, wouldn’t I?”

I was silent.

I heard a yawn coming from the back.

“Oh. Good morning.” I heard Gong Chan said.

My mother laughs and stood up. “I have some errands to run. Think about it, okay?”

Gong Chan bows at my mother one more time as she walk pass him.

He scratches his head and let out another yawn.

“Erm, why am I here again?”

I laugh. “Same old Channie. Coffee?”

Gong Chan P.O.V

Mi Sun was ranting to me about what happen in the morning.

“I don’t know Channie, I have mixed feelings. Part of me wants to go, but part of me doesn’t want to.”

I patted her back. “I really don’t know what to tell you, to be honest.”

She laughs. “I knew you would say that.”

“Well, follow your heart, I guess?”

She nodded and let out a sigh. “You should take a bath. You look horrible.

I pouted. “So mean.”

She ruffles my hair and stood up. “I think the boys are still sleeping.”

“I’m still sleepy.”

She pushes me into her room. “I’ll be outside.”

I heard Mi Sun talking to her mom as I look for my bag.

Idiot! How can you fall asleep in a girl’s room?Even though I sleepover at her house a lot, I’ve never sleep in her room before.

I heard the doorbell when I was about to take a bath. But I stop as I heard Mi Sun’s voice, it sounded irritated.

And then, I heard another voice that was also familiar to me.

“Mi Sun father.” I said to myself.

Jin Young P.O.V

I can’t believe Gong Chan stayed over at Mi Sun’s place instead.

I have to admit, I’m jealous.

I saw my driver pulled up in front of the apartment.

“Well, it was fun last night.” I said to Baro.

“No problem. Come over anytime.”

Shin Woo clapped his back. “I know where to go when I’m bored of working.”

We laugh, except for Sandeul, who was busy admiring my ride.

“Come on, I’ll give you a ride.” I said to him.

I could see sparkles in his eyes. “Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Hyung! You’re the best!” he runs over and gives me a hug.

“Did anyone manage to contact Gong Chan?” I heard Shin Woo asked.

“He had something urgent he said.” Baro said.

“Alright, see you in school on Monday.”

We said goodbye to each other and left.

“I wonder what Gong Chan is doing right now.” Shin Woo said.

I want to know too.

Gong Chan P.O.V

“You don’t have to follow me, you know.”

I pull the trolley from her hand. “It’s alright, I have nothing to do.”

Mi Sun put her hands in the pocket and started walking in the supermarket.

She looks around and pick up stuffs once in a while. She bends down and talks to a little boy when he bumps into her.

I watch her smiling at the boy as she pointed around.

I couldn’t help but to think back what she told her father back in the house.

“When you and mom broke up, even though you’re getting a divorce, you told me that it didn’t mean that I will stop being your daughter. Now you’re getting a whole new family, you lied to me so I don’t trust you.”

“Channie!” she waves at me. I walk up to her.

“Yeah?”

“Should I buy this, or this?”

My stomach growls before I could answer her.

She chuckled. “Hungry?”

I smile and nodded shyly.

“Alright, I’ll pick up some stuff and we’ll go eat okay?”

She continues walking down further, laughing at herself as she tried to reach for something at the top shelves.

Mi Sun, you’re still stubborn as ever. How can you pretend nothing happen when I’m inside you room listening to every single word just now?
