 “Mi sun! Can’t you see? He’s obviously asking you out but he is just using his cousin’s party as an excuse! Oh I’m so happy for you!”

 “Shut up juri. And, do I really have to wear your clothes?”

“Yes!” I yell from my closet. “Just give me a few seconds!”

Mi Sun told me that jin young sunbae-nim asked her to go to his cousin’s party. He is obviously asking her out. How naïve can you be mi sun.

Knowing that she’ll wear something weird, I ask her to stop by my house before she goes there.

“Because, that is too casual! You’re going for a party! No, you’re going on a date!”

“It’s not a date.”

“It is!”

“But I’m only going to his cousin’s house. Sunbae told me the color code is black, white, or red. Look, I have white, and black. Maybe you can borrow me a red bag.”

“Oh gosh mi sun! You don’t have to wear all colours for pete sake.”

“Really?”

Mi Sun P.O.V

“Mi sun, come in here!” juri yell from the bathroom.

“Now what. Omgosh stop!”

Juri started spraying hair spray on my hair, making me cough.

“Can I look at the mirror now?” I asked.

“Wait, just a little bit more.” She applies some hair cream on my hair, twisting the curls she just did for me.

“Stop killing my hair.”

“I am not killing your hair, I’m making it gorgeous!”

“Okay done!” she said, washing her hands.

“Good.” I said, walking to her full length mirror in her room.

“Her name is lee mi sun, you silly. You look so beautiful!”

“Are you praising me, of yourself?”

“Both? Hmm.. Your lips look .”

“No, don’t put anything on my lips.”

My phone started ringing as juri search for something in her make up bag.

“Hello?”

“Hello mi sun, which condo is juri’s? I’m at the roundabout.”

“Just go straight, it’s the highest one.”

“Okay, I’ll see you in a while. Bye.”

“Bye.” I hung up.

“He’s here?”

“Not yet. But he’s nearby.”

“My girl is going on a date!”

“My black coat. You were holding it, remember?”

“Oh, was i? Maybe I left it on the couch.”

“No way! I need my coat!”

“Come on, it’s not very cold today. It’s only 20degrees. You’ll be indoors anyways.”

“Choi Juri! Look at what I’m wearing. 20degrees is going to be cold for me!”

“Don’t worry. I’m sure sunbae will give you his coat.”

What did she just say?

“You did this on purpose do you?” I asked her after realizing what she was doing.

“Opps, I did it again” she sang.

“I hate you.” I muttered.

“Aw I love you too. Ommo, is that sunbae?”

I look at the person who was sitting on a sofa at the lobby.

“He looks good!”

“Juri, you can take my place and go with him. After all, you’re really excited about this.”

“Oh don’t be silly. I know you’re excited too.”

Excited huh? I can’t even explain what I am feeling right now.

“Okay go have fun!” she pushes me forward.

“What? Wait!”

“What?”

“Erm..Can you at least walk with me there?”

She sighs. “Okay.”

I link my arms with hers and walk towards jin young sunbae-nim.

“I’m guessing you want me to call him too, don’t you?”

I nodded.

“Aigo. I can’t believe mi sun can be so shy with boys.”

“Shut up.” I said, walking behind her as we reach the sofa.

Jin Young P.O.V

“Jin Young sunbae-nim!” I heard someone call.

I look up and saw a girl waving at me.

“Oh juri, annyeon-”

I couldn’t finish my words, because the person standing next to her made me stop.

Omgosh is that mi sun?

“Annyeonghaseyo.” She bowed at me. I bowed back.

“See? He’s wearing a tie! I told you it’s more than just a house party.” Juri said.

“But he’s wearing jeans.” Mi sun pouted. “I want my shorts back.”

“Enough with your shorts already! Sunbae, what do you think about mi sun?”

She’s beautiful…

“Sorry?” mi sun said.

Oh crap, did I just say it out loud?

“He said you’re beautiful. Which I totally agree!”

“Oh thank you. I hope I’m not over dress or something.”

I shook my head, still trying to find my voice.

“Okay! Clock is ticking! Go go go!” juri clap her hands.

“Sorry about her.” mi sun pointed at juri. “She’s very hyper today.”

“Sunbae! Mi sun forgot her coat. Do keep her warm!” juri said to me.

I nodded.

Mi sun hug juri goodbye and pinches her arm, making her scream a little.

“Have fun!” juri waved at us.

“Go away.” Mi sun said, waving back at her friend.

She turns to me and smile.

“So…..how are we going there?”

“Oh yeah, this way.” I said, finally finding my voice.

“Okay. Sorry for making you come all the way here.”

“It’s alright.”

“Sunbae, I’m not over dress, right?”

“No, you’re not. You look really beautiful.”

Omgosh did I just say that again?

She laughs. “Well, you look, erm…smart?”

“Smart? Not handsome?”

“Er…you can say that too.”

I looked at her. She looks really uncomfortable.

“Relax. Don’t worry so much, okay?”

“I’m trying.” She laughs. “So where’s your car?”

“It’s right in front of you.”

“Are you serious?”

I nodded as I open the car door.

“Ladies first.” I smile.

“Erm…okay. Thank you.”

I watched her as she slowly get into the car, holding her dress preventing it from flying up.

She got in and looks at me.

“Aren’t you coming in?”

“Oh, right.”

She smiled at me and went further inside.

Mi sun ah, is it a mistake for asking you to come with me? How am I supposed to go through tonight when I can’t even look at you right now?
