Jin Young P.O.V

Her eyes widen as I lean in. I smile as I kiss her.

I didn’t know what came over me, but I just feel like doing it.

She blinks her eyes rapidly as I her hair.

“That’s my good luck gift for you.” I said.

“Eh…”

I was about to hug her until I heard someone calling her name.

She pushes my hands away and turns around.

“G-gong Chan!”

I look up and saw him running towards us.

“H-hey.” He breath.

“Hey.” I said.

“W-what are you still doing here?” Mi Sun asks.

“Studying.” He said before looking at me then back to Mi Sun. “It’s late, let’s go home.”

“Oh, yeah, sure.” She turns around and said goodbye to me.

“Bye.” I said, patting her arm. She flinches but still smile.

I watch Gong Chan retrieve her bag from one of the benches as she runs to him.

He turns around to wave at me before putting his arm around Mi Sun’s shoulder.

To my surprise, she didn’t push him away and even put her arm around his waist.

Relax Jin Young, they are best friends, it’s normal.

Plus, Gong Chan likes Juri. There’s no need to be worried.

Right?

Mi Sun P.O.V

My mind was still picturing Jin Young kissing me that I almost trip and fell.

“Yah! Can’t you see that’s the pavement?” Gong Chan raises his voice.

“Sorry.” I said.

Gong Chan shakes his head and continue walking.

I follow closely behind him and touched my head. A giggle escapes from the corner of my mouth as I thought about him again.

I didn’t know Gong Chan stop walking that I bump into his back.

“Ow…”

He turns around and put his hands on his hips.

“Lee Mi Sun, can’t you walk properly? First you almost didn’t manage to climb the stairs, then you almost trip, and now?”

“Hey.” I said, “You’re the one who stop, don’t blame me.”

“That’s because you were giggling like a mad girl behind me.”

What’s wrong with him? Why is he so grumpy?

Gong Chan P.O.V

“Oh…I was just thinking about something funny just now.” she said, scratching her head.

“Yeah right.” I muttered.

She didn’t speak but I saw her smiling. I couldn’t take it anymore.

“What’s so funny about being kissed?” I snap at her.

I saw her eyes grew bigger as she stares at me.

“Yes, I saw him kissing you. Are you guys dating already?” I ask.

“Er…”

I sigh. “You used to tell me everything…”

“Channie.” She grabs my arm. “He didn’t kiss me.”

“Yes he did. I saw it with my own eyes.”

“Erm, I mean yeah he did, not here.” She pointed at her lips. “But here.”

“Oh.”

“And no, we’re not dating!”

“Oh.”

She gave me a look. “Stop saying oh. Wait, were you grumpy because of this?”

Oh, crap.

 “Aigoo! Channie ar!” Mi Sun laughs as she slaps my shoulder. “You’re so funny!”

“It’s not funny.” I hissed. “I’m being serious here.”

“Aigoo..” She ruffles my hair, causing me to pout.  “Is my Channie jealous?”

I look at her smiling as she fixes back my hair.

“What if I am?”

Mi Sun P.O.V

“What if I am?” he said softly.

I smile and patted his hair. “Channie, it’s not like I’m replacing you or something. We’re just friends.”

“What about Baro?”

“Baro?” I said, “What about him?”

He shakes his head and takes my hand. “I don’t know. You guys have been hanging out a lot lately.”

“Hmm..We’re neighbours.”

He looks down at our linked hands and started walking.

“What about me?” he asks as he swing our hands.

“What about you?”

He shrugged. “What am I to you then?”

“Yah, you should know, you’re my best friend!”

“Just best friend?”

I turn my head and face him. “Okay, you’re my number 1 best friend! Now don’t tell Juri.”

He chuckled. “Just because you know me earlier than her doesn’t mean she can’t me number 1.”

Gong Chan is acting really weird. Maybe he’s just being protective, like he always does.

“So why were you with Jin Young hyung again?” he asks as we walked into the subway station.

“He just came to say good luck, I guess.” I said before taking out my card.

I swear a heard him sighing. “He didn’t have to kiss you.”

I nodded as I waited for him to pass the bar. “True….But anyways, let’s not talk about it.

He didn’t say anything but took my hand instead.

“Erm, we’re kinda parting soon.”

“I know.” he said and stop walking. Then he gave me his signature smile. “Good luck for tomorrow!”

I laugh. “What is this, mood swings?”

He smiles and raises his right hand. “Hi 5!”

This kid. I raise my hand and slap his, but he held it.

“If he can do it, so can I.” he said.

“Do what?”

Gong Chan P.O.V

I pull her towards me and gave her a long kiss on her cheek.

“Heh.” I smile.

She held her cheek and points at me. “You..”

“Bye!” I said and run off.

“Yah!” I heard her yelling. “Yah Gong Chan Shik!”

I laugh as I run through the crowd. “Sorry, excuse me.”

As soon as I reach the top, I put my hands on my knees to catch my breath.

“Whiew…”

I look up and saw Mi Sun standing at the opposite side, her hand still holding her cheek.

I kissed her. Take that Jin Young Hyung!

“Yah.” I slap myself. “What am I thinking?”

I put my hand on my chest. It was beating so fast.

“Weird, it usually becomes normal, maybe I haven’t been working out lately.”

But my heart pounds harder as I look up at Mi Sun.

No way. This isn’t right. I like Juri. Yeah, I like Juri, and Mi Sun is my best friend.

Right?

Mi Sun P.O.V

I rub the spot where Gong Chan kissed.

“Aish, he didn’t have to do that.”

But I was quite happy he did. I didn’t know why, I had butterflies in my stomach.

Was I feeling the same when Jin Young kissed me?

I look up and saw him looking at me. I quickly turn away and look at the boards.

My heart is beating so fast right now, but I didn’t even run.

I look up at him again luckily he was looking somewhere else.

No, this isn’t right. He likes Juri, yeah that’s right. And Juri likes him too.
