C h a p t e r  6 ★

Turning his head left and right, Donghae looked for a certain skinny girl in jumpers along the sea of people in the city. Eunhyuk just dashed off as soon as the lift opened up earlier, and since Donghae was too startle by the sudden act, it took him a few moments to follow her. He knows she's not feeling well and he prayed to heavens that she won't be doing anything crazy. He seek for more, hoping to catch a glimpse of the girl.

Relief struck him however as he saw the familiar figure sitting under the shed of the bus stop. He walked towards her, sitting an arm length far enough. He simply glance sidewards as to check on the girl and was shaken seeing her eyes turning misty. By the way her jaw clench and unclench, Donghae knows for sure that she's fighting the urge to cry.

It was surreal.

Right at that moment, Donghae discovered that Eunhyuk's heart wasn't, after all, made of steel.

They were currently inside the elevator, heading to the 32nd floor of that high-class condominium. Eunhyuk said this is where her girlfriend lives, and so there they are, making their way towards Hara and hoping she's definitely the cure for Eunhyuk's curse. The familiar chime was heard, signalling they've reached their floor and off they went. Their constant bickering was heard along the hall, with occasional pushing and punching here and there until they reached the end of the corridor, heading towards Hara's pad. They came into a halt however as they saw two figures infront of the girl's door. Eunhyuk seemed to recognize them since she quickly hides in a corner, pulling Donghae along since the nerd seemed to wonder first on what's going on. Slowly, they peeked and from where they are, they could clearly make out of the two figures, kissing and flirting for everyone to see.

Eunhyuk quickly looked away, straightening her posture as she leaned on the wall, refusing to see anything more. Donghae on the other hand continue watching, frowning as he tried to recognize the guy Hara is with, He didn't have to try hard however, the moment he heard the girl spoke.

"Junhyung-oppa..", she muttered and a giggle followed suit. Junhyung seems like tickling her as she swiped on her card for the door to open and soon, their laughter died out at the closing of the door. Donghae stood up straight and glanced at the girl beside him. Eunhyuk said nothing. All she did was to heave a sigh and march her way towards the lift. There were no words, and Donghae is tactful enough not to ask anything. 

He tapped his foot as the awkward silence hung between the two of them. Alright, so this is really odd. From the day they met each other since Eunhyuk became a girl, never did this kind of silence happened. Usually they will be fighting and.. fighting. So Donghae finds it really strange. But then again, he's not stupid, and he knows what's bothering the usually whiny girl.

A bus stopped before them, but neither of the two moved. 

And another one.

And another one.

"Whenever I failed to meet Hara..", Eunhyuk started the moment the third bus is out of sight. Donghae jumped at first, since it had been dead silent between them for too long he even lost counting the cars passing by. He then decided to listen, sensing how serious the other must be, and this will be the first time he'll got to witness a serious Eunhyuk.

"Whenever I can't make it.. I always ask Junhyung to see her for me.", she continued. "I should have known there's something going on, since he never complains and she never bother asking my absence.", A smile flashed her lips, and Donghae can tell how bitter it was. 

"It was stupid. So ing stupid..", she said and Donghae saw a tear recklessly fell, but she was quick to wipe it away.

"Don't get me wrong. I wasn't upset because I love Hara, you know very well that I don't.", she uttered and sniffed."It's just that..", she said and bit her lip, supressing the tears from spilling. "I trusted them..", Eunhyuk smiled bitterly at the truth. "I ing trusted them.."

Donghae didn't respond. He doesn't know what to say anyway. At that time, he was introduce into a new side of Eunhyuk. Well maybe he doesn't have the heart to love a girl rightfully, but he has a heart for his friends, whom he trust with all of he has. It's unfortunate how they're all untrue.

The rest of the morning went on with Eunhyuk trying to stop her tears but it keeps on coming, and Donghae just sitting there, wating for the girl to calm down herself. Donghae was never a consoler. He was expert on everything except from that particular area, and on love, and on making friends and on all the things concerning one's social life.

And yet, feeling Eunhyuk won't be stopping anytime soon and Donghae can't resist hearing the girl's soft sobs, not to mention the weird stares the passer by's and onlookers are throwing at them (to him specifically because he bets they're thinking he's the one who made her cry.), Donghae came up with the best solution he could ever think of.

"Do you want an ice cream?"

Eunhyuk stopped her subtle crying to look back at Donghae. His eyes are hopeful, yet for Eunhyuk it looked like he's taunting her.

"And what do you think of me?! A little girl?!! Do you think I'll be okay if you hand me an ice cream!! A freaking ice cream!!!"

"This is the best drink in the world! I wonder why I haven't discover this before.", Eunhyuk exclaimed as she walked out of the convenient store, Donghae following closely behind.
He shook his head as he watched Eunhyuk even hopping happily, adding to the pre-schooler effect her outfit made her look like. Donghae thought it will probably look cuter if the girl tied her locks in pigtails. Mr. Cool Guy turned Adorable Teen Girl Eunhyuk. He scoffed at the idea.

"When I got my body back, I'll buy a big fridge and fill it up with nothing but this precious strawberry milk!", she uttered joyfully again, having Donghae get back from his reverie. "I should have list that down so I won't forget.", she noted to herself. Donghae fought back a chuckle as he gazed at this girl who was so immense at the 'wonders' that drink is giving her. Who would have thought this is the same girl who had been crying and whining at the bus stop earlier? He almost say sorry upon offering an ice cream due to the girl's reaction, only to frown when she uttered, in a very very soft tone, that she wanted that one he gave to her back in his hotel room on their last summer trip. Donghae shook his head again,
