“Oh my God you are totally dating!”   Hyukjae and Donghae stopped as they found Heechul infront of the scholar club’s room. The blonde was even panting a little, Yoona and Onew behind her. Hyukjae was about to ask why were they crowding outside at so early in the morning when Heechul rushed before them, grabbing their entwine hands and eyes bulging out when she discovered the rings.   “You even have couple rings! Oh dear..”, she exclaimed, dropping their hands and shaking her head. “That’s it, I quit, the two of you are so stupid!”, the older exclaimed, stomping back to the room as Hyukjae and Donghae stared in wonder. “She just couldn’t believe it herself when I told her you guys were together. And how did it happened, and how Oppa’s sulking with Hyukjae-unnie moving out, and your first kiss and Unnie’s picture as Oppa’s wallpaper..” “Hey wait, how did you know that?!”, Donghae suddenly called out, eyes wide while he stared at Yoona. He realized the answer though as soon as he threw the question out when he turned to his girlfriend, the redhead biting her lip in guilt then jumping a little when she met his gaze. “W-What? I meant to tell her like.. she’s my friend of course it’s necessary to tell her everything.”, Hyukjae reasoned out quickly.   Donghae turned red again. Well it’s not like he’s angry but he couldn’t help getting shy talking about it alright. He muttered a quick “I’ll see you in class.” to Hyukjae before walking away, avoiding the stares of his sister and even Onew. He was already a few steps away when he stopped, and Hyukjae, Yoona and Onew who were still looking at his retreating back marveled what’s wrong when suddenly, eyes on his feet, Donghae came rushing back to Hyukjae.   A soft kiss was placed on her cheek, so swift, that if it wasn’t for the fact that Donghae’s face was inches away from hers, Hyukjae would think twice if it actually happened. But it did, the groan from Yoona proved it, and Donghae’s wearing this straight face but he smilec coyly while muttering another “I’ll see you in class.” Hyukjae grinned back, nodding her head as Donghae took his first few steps backwards, eyes still on Hyukjae before turning around and jogging out of the place. Hyukjae giggled and bit her lip, ignoring Onew and his questions on what’s with Donghae and Hyukjae and he thought they were already dating way before. Yoona told him it’s best if he didn’t know and that he wouldn’t actually want to deal with pathetic fools inlove like those two.   Her smile's unwavering as she entered the scholars’ room, even grinning at Heechul and the faces she’s making because she wanted a couple ring too and Mr. Han wasn’t giving her any. Onew was still left wondering and the freshmen Jiyoung and Gongchan were hurrying to leave the room because Heechul looked like she’s going to throw a fit any time soon. Yoona’s back in her poker face while checking the club activities for the month and Hyukjae clung on her and started narrating what happened that morning, the milkshake, the kiss in the bus, everything. Heechul’s still feeling resentful but joined the conversation as soon as she heard about Donghae‘s list of things he wanted to do with his girlfriend.   Heechul’s more of making fun of it but the redhead didn’t care because she’s too happy. She was in the middle of describing the kiss in the bus when the door opened, revealing a sleepy Kyuhyun who was in the middle of ruffling his unruly hair.   The yawn he was about to make didn’t pushed through and his face looked absolutely funny and Heechul actually snorted but none paid attention because Hyukjae’s looking at Kyuhyun and the other’s staring back.   It took quite a few seconds of silence before Kyuhyun broke into a grin. And Hyukjae, sighing in relief, grinned back.   -   They sat in silence on one of the benches overlooking the big school ground. It wasn’t that long but for some reasons, it felt like ages since Kyuhyun and Hyukjae last saw each other. It’s also a little uncomfortable to comprehend, that the last conversation they actually had was that one where they spoke about their feelings and Hyukjae unintentionally breaking Kyuhyun’s heart allover again. “So you guys are finally, really together now.”, Kyuhyun began and Hyukjae simply nodded her head because she didn’t actually knew how to react. She’s happy and she’s not ashamed of her relationship with Donghae but it would be really mean and insensitive in her part to actually show it to Kyuhyun, right? Especially that she knew how the boy feels for her.   Kyuhyun heaved out a sigh and Hyukjae was surprised when he scoffed, turning into a chuckle, until he was laughing so loud and the redhead marveled if he’s gone mental. She liked to think it was a good reaction but she’s hesitant to join in because really, what’s so funny?   She quietly watched him until he calmed down, and he was shaking his head and there were a few more chuckles. Hyukjae asked if everything’s okay and  all of a sudden, he stopped. The girl worried if she said something wrong, fretting if she had unintentionally hurt his feelings one more time yet Kyuhyun scoffed, startling Hyukjae again when he palmed his face with both hands and groaned loudly.    “I looked stupid, aren’t I?”, he asked and she was finding the right words but Kyuhyun shook his head, chuckling a little more as he let go of his face and breathed out a heavy sigh. “I was actually planning to say that it didn’t hurt the way I imagined it to be but..”, he turned to Hyukjae, a faint smile on his face. “It does, worse to be honest.”, he said and she’s completely speechless because really, what was there to say?   Another sigh escaped his lips as he stretched a little, his shoulders dropping as he looked back at Hyukjae. “But you’re happy, right?”, he asked and she saw it in his eyes that he meant it.
