Pouting to herself, Hyukjae dragged her feet inside the mall. Not like she had any interest on watching a movie because by doing so, she’ll just feel more alone than ever. For a moment, she regretted the fact that she actually went out when she’s absolutely aware there’ll be nothing for her to do. Well, there’s plenty for her to do but she didn’t felt like doing so. She pursed her lips; she really thought Donghae will stop her or some sort. She forgot the fact that Donghae didn’t want her and didn’t care about her. For all Hyukjae knew, maybe Donghae’s celebrating right now because she’s dating and he’ll finally be free from her. Hyukjae bit her lip, she didn’t want to be emotional about this all over again but the truth stabbed her right on the heart okay. It stabbed her and struck her and chopped her heart in million little pieces she didn’t even know why the heck she’s still alive. But of course, everything’s figurative but in the end it still all went down with the fact that she’s hurt.   Grunting and mourning mentally over her broken heart, Hyukjae heard her phone beep and upon checking up she found an incoming call from Yoona. It’s a little too girly for her liking but right at that moment she felt like a child ready to spill her heart’s content to her mom as she picked up the call, an impending sob ready to blurt out if not for Yoona speaking up just as she was about to do so.   “Oppa followed you.”   Words stuck in , Hyukjae swallowed an invisible lump before finding her voice to speak. “W-What—“ “Oppa followed you. It’s been fifteen minutes since he left I think and if you went to the nearest hangout he’ll probably be just somewhere out there, looking for you or might have found you already.” “Wait, what? I’m not with you I don’t understand—“ “Donghae-oppa followed you, okay? He might be stalking you as of the moment and he might have found out you’re not with Kyuhyun so I suggest you do something before you embarrass yourself. Not that you need to really, because I don’t think Oppa will ever ask you why you’re alone because that’ll mean he had to admit he’s trailing behind you and you know—“ “WHAT?!!” “Woah, hold yourself hey. Yoong—“   Yoona rolled her eyes, wishing she could somehow transmit how hopeless she thinks Hyukjae is via mobile phone but Hyukjae may not be able to understand it anyway since she’ll be too busy getting a grip of herself.   “You know, I texted Onew earlier and I checked on his reply just now and he said he’s on the way home, so probably Oppa’s watching you already. Geez, what’s with you creepy people.” “But why is he following me?!” “Oh I don’t know, maybe he’s stalking you because you’ll lead him into finding the national treasure god Hyukjae-unnie do I really need to point out that your Project: Make Donghae Oppa Jealous with Heechul-unnie was successful?!”, Yoona sort of exclaimed to the other line and Hyukjae winced, finding Yoona raising her voice new but it’s not the moment to ponder on that alright. “Wait, you said.. you mean.. but—“ “Let me break this to you once and for—oh wait no. Back.” “Wha—“ “Please don’t say 'what' I had enough of it.”, Yoona uttered, sighing to herself. “Great, done my part now you go do yours, get him tonight okay? You have my blessings, break a leg!”   And she hanged up. It took Hyukjae quite a few moments before she could actually breathe.   Okay, first she needed to collect herself and process the information one by one. One, Donghae followed her and if Yoona had assumed it right, he’s currently tailing behind her. Second, Donghae followed her because, in Yoona’s assumptions again, her Heechul-unnie’s ‘Project Make Donghae Jealous’ worked. Which led to third, that Donghae was indeed jealous which in all way connected to fourth, that Donghae, apparently, likes her. Back.   Donghae likes her back.   Hyukjae found it impossible to think of anything else after that.   She went over this one before, and she even accepted it to herself that Donghae will never feel the same but what was this. What if Yoona’s wrong? Not that she had ever been wrong but there’s always a first time for everything. But what if she’s right?   Hyukjae wondered if she was that dense or stupid because she never thought it could be possible, or Yoona was just looking over her brother’s actions too much. But if it’s like that, what are the grounds of Donghae following her here? Is it really possible? Could it be that.. even if she’s a boy and..   She turned her head, eyes scanning to the crowd in search of a certain brunette. She halted when she realized that Donghae, if Donghae was really there, was supposed to be charting her secretly, so there’s no way he’ll reveal himself for her to see.   Unless.. Well it’s a little stupid and not to mention embarrassing once it turned out that Donghae wasn’t around after all, but it’s not like these people actually knew her and as if it mattered really, right now nothing beats her anticipation of finding Donghae right there, that he really did followed her, and it goes with the theory that maybe he’s really jealous and then maybe he really likes her back.   The impediments of their situation, the issue of homouality, the sorcery behind all of it, they all came surging inside Hyukjae but it was quite amusing how she had easily pushed it aside, because right now nothing’s relevant enough other than the possibility that Donghae. Likes. Her. Back.   Hyukjae hoped it’s true or else it’ll break her heart.   On another thought, maybe this is a sign. That this was fate’s way of telling her if she should give Donghae up or try it out, no matter how hilarious their circumstances must be.   It’ll make her or break her, but Hyukjae decided this was the last straw. So she could finally move on. Yet in the back of her mind, at the bottom of her heart, she kind of hoped that Donghae’s really there.   Heaving a sigh, she gulped quite a few times, making sure her voice won’t crack or anything, before speaking with a voice ten times louder than norm.   “OH GOD HOW CAN KYUHYUN STOOD ME UP! HOW CAN I WATCH THE MOVIE NOW IT’S SO LONELY BEING ALONE.”   She tried. Really it was clear as the day that she did made an effort. As if the stares she got from the passerby’s weren’t evident enough, there were even a few boys who tried to hit her up. Glaring at everyone who attempted to approach her, Hyukjae pursed her lips and began repeating in her mind the reminder not to set foot in this place again when it happened.   “Hey! Oh wow, Hyukjae!
