It took her by surprise too, and for a moment she thought of taking it back but what’s the point? She had been in denial for so long, maybe it’s time to stop depriving herself of the truth that yes, she likes Donghae. A boy.   She never felt so ed up.   “Aren’t you going to say anything?”, she dared to ask, eyes still unable to meet Yoona’s as she fidgeted on her spot. Was she secretly laughing? Disgusted over her declaration? What are you guys doing?”   Both of the girls looked at the direction of the voice and found a frowning Donghae, approaching the two of them and Hyukjae couldn’t subdue the blush that crept on her cheeks. Now that her feelings for Donghae were out in the open, it really takes extra effort to look at Donghae the same way it was before. “Why are you guys so close like that?”, Donghae pointed out, disentangling the two girls as he stood in between them, holding their arms as he eyed the two, demanding for an answer. Hyukjae kept her eyes to the ground, shivering a bit at the feel of Donghae’s palm on her skin while Yoona just watched the two in utter amusement. She’s quite uncertain whether to laugh or get mad.   “You guys are unbelievable.”, Yoona chuckled, shaking her head as she scuffled off her brother’s hold. “And I take back what I said earlier.”, she mentioned, and Hyukjae stared back at her and Yoona grinned. “You’re still an idiot. A huge hopeless idiot.”, she stressed out.   “Ya!”, Hyukjae exclaimed but the girl just chortled and walked out, heading for the kitchen where Kibum and the kids currently were.   “What does she mean by that?”, Donghae asked and Hyukjae groaned as she was about to say how the hell she would know when she noticed (Oh God, Hyukjae died a little inside with the comprehension) that Donghae was still holding her arm. Blood rushed to her face as she immediately pulled away, as if she had been electrified, Donghae frowning with the gesture.   “What’s with you?”, he asked and Hyukjae just shook her head, taking one step back when Donghae moved forward. “Something’s wrong?”, the brunette questioned, a little worried, as he tried to reach for Hyukjae but the girl quickly dodged, leaving Donghae puckering his brows even more. “Just.. don’t touch me.”, Hyukjae uttered, as a response to Donghae’s probing gaze.
