CHAPTER Eight; insanity

Morning after the first period of classes there was no teacher around

Lara: *looks around seeing the dark clouds * it’s going to rain soon.

Soya: *talking to Baekhyun*

Baekhyun: *looks at In-na*

Soya: So… Lara likes you even when you told her who you like. Man, that’s so insensitive of you

Baekhyun: how would I know? I thought Lara was sweet in a friendly way

Soya: Lara’s friendly sweetness and romance sweetness is very different, you’re just naturally insensitive

Baekhyun: *hits Soya playfully *

Soya: Hey, hey! You can’t hit a girl *chuckles *

Baekhyun:  *looks outside the window * I wish… Lara and In-na was one person… she’d be my dream girl then

Soya: So you’re saying… you like Lara?

Baekhyun: I like Lara as a friend and I don’t think it’ll be more than that. I’m just afraid I might hurt her and that would mean our friendship is over

Soya: Harsh.

Baekhyun: I like everything about In-na… it’s just that, I wish In-na liked me the way Lara does *looks down *

Soya: I see *nods several times *

Baekhyun: What do you think I should do?

Soya: follow you heart like how Lara does

Baekhyun: I hope In-na follows hers so I would know what to feel about her

Soya: she never does the things her heart wants though

Baekhyun: Yeah…

Soya: LARA! *Calls her*

Lara: *faces Soya* yeah?

Soya: Come here *signals her to come*

Lara: *walks slowly to Soya*

Baekhyun: *looks at Lara*

Lara: Hi…

Baekhyun: Well… hello….

Soya: What an atmosphere. So, the skies are so dark right? Hmm.

Baekhyun: *nods*

Lara: yeah… *sighs*

Soya: You guys come here often? *Sheepishly wiggles her brows*

Baekhyun: haha, no Soya no *shook his head*

Sehun: Baek! Can you help me over here?

Baekhyun: Sure *leaves*

Lara: it’s so quiet between us

Soya: Why don’t you start a conversation then? I’m trying so hard here

Chanyeol: *stays beside Lara* hey I have awesome news

Soya: what? Someone is willing to play basketball with me until after lunch?

Chanyeol: no! our friends from China will transfer here! *smiles*

Soya: Which means more s will be at school *facepalms*

Chanyeol: No, it means more basketball players *glares at Soya*

Soya: Oh. OH MY GOD. Yes!!! *fist pumps the air*

Lara: How many friends will transfer here?

Chanyeol: three. Kris, Yixing and Luhan

Soya: but of course they have to defeat me before entering MY basketball club
