CHAPTER ONE; First day

Let us skip summer. Lara had only been a couch potato and surfing the internet all day during the summer. The typical teenage thing.

It was 2 days before school.  

Kakao Conversation: 2:00 in the morning

Baekhyun: Lara~!!

Lara: What? Why are you still up this late? -_-Zzzz

Baekhyun: I’m :(

Lara: What’s wrong??

Baekhyun: I’m going to transfer school

Lara: ARE YOU SERIOUS????

Baekhyun: yeah :(

Lara: You’re crazy. Why? :(

Baekhyun: Dad wants me too

Lara: Why? How dare you leave me!

Baekhyun: I don’t know. I’ll be going to US

Lara: You bastard!! >.<

Baekhyun: I’m so sorry :(

Lara: You’re the worst :(

Baekhyun: See you after 3 years :P

Lara: This is so unfair. When will you leave?

Baekhyun: Maybe in a couple of hours

Lara: UNFAIR! I didn’t even get to say goodbye personally

Baekhyun: oh well…..

Lara: Dude! Where can we meet? As in can it be right now?

Lara: BAEK!

Lara: Are you in the airport or at home?

Lara: You’re not replying? HEY! Damn it.

Lara: I hate you :(

Lara felt bad. She realized that she liked Baekhyun in the wrong time. She wished she would have seen him before he leaves so she can confess. She didn’t want to do it through text because it wouldn’t be heartfelt.

First Day of school…

Lara: *walks in the hallways going to her classroom* I’m finally called a 12 grader

???: *pokes her* Miss me?

Lara: *surprised; looks at him* BAEKHYUN??!!?

Baekhyun: *smiles*

Lara: Oh my gosh! You retard! How dare you!? I thought you were going to transfer? *pits him playfully*

Baekhyun: Aha, Do you I would leave you and my buddies?

Lara: But you said your dad…

Baekhyun: *puts his index finger on her lips* shh. I would never ever leave you *caress her cheek and kisses her forehead*

Lara: I… *jaw drops*

Junghee (Lara’s mom): Baby! Time to wake up! It’s your first day of school!

Lara: huh? *lifts her head up from her pillow* what?! *slowly opens her eyes*

Junghee: Breakfast is ready, go take a bath *smiles and leaves her room*

Lara: Oh god. *thumps her head* what a dream. *stands up* I thought he didn’t transfer *looks down*

Once she was all done preparing for school, she head outside. She walked with Soya along with her gloomy face. Soya is a very experienced friend. She went to a lot of depression which caused her to slit her wrists, she also experienced being bulimic because of being bullied. But things changed when she met her true friends, Soya is a very happy person now and she hates it when her friend is sad and overreacts when she hears someone says “I want to die” or “I hate my life”.

Soya: *looks at Lara* What’s wrong?

Lara: Nothing *shooks her head*

Soya: *sighs* what is it this time?

Lara: I’m fine. Maybe I’m just *looks around* hungry

Soya: YOU DIDN’T EAT BREAKFAST TODAY?

Lara: I did but I don’t know I feel so glum

Soya: Let’s get you some fun! *carries Lara on her back*

 Lara: OH GOD! SOYA PUT ME DOWN! *spanks her*

Soya: LET’S GO! *laughs and runs to school*

Lara: HEY DUDE! DON’T! OH BOY *holds on tight*

Soya: *stops; panting* Phew! Wow, the school is so crowded today

Lara: Duh? It’s the first day

Soya: I feel like it’s already last day *puts Lara down*

Lara: Well, you’re weird *enters the building*

Soya: *follows you and goes to the school board*

Lara: *sighs and looks around* Baekhyun, where are you?

???: Lara! *walks towards her*

Lara: *looks at her* Hey! *smiles*

Dae-mi: We’re homeroom classmates!! *smiles*

Soya: *joins in* HEY! In-na and Ahra are HR classmates. Rose is in a different room. You, Lara and I are classmates!!

Dae-mi: AMEN!! *smies*

Lara: *sighs in relief* this is a blessing, guys. *smiles*

Dae-mi: *pulls Lara and Soya to class* I missed you guys so much! I’ve been in travelling around the world last summer
