CHAPTER ten; are you making me jealous?

Lara’s POV: For the past four weeks, things have been normal as usual; normal as in Baekhyun and I are awkward. I’m still mad at him though. He’s very hopeless. At the bright side,  I made a new friend. Yes, it’s Lay. He has been so kind to all and me though the fact that he’s Baekhyun’s friend bugs me. Lay would help me with my homework, offer me a ride home, asks me if we could study together sometime and a lot more.

And, I’m kind of pissed of because the more Lay and I hang out, the closer In-na and Baekhyun gets. Well, I promise myself I would be fine if ever the day comes when they get together. And also, the more Lay stays close to me, the more Baekhyun becomes so jerky.

I’m miserable; I miss Baekhyun. I miss us. Maybe, liking him wasn’t a good idea. Is being awkward something I should solve or something I should remain?

In-na: hey Lara..

Lara: *looks at In-na* oh. Hey In-na…

In-na: this is Kris…

Kris: *walks over to them* sup?

Lara: … Hi?

Kris: *walks away*

In-na: Kris, hey wait!! Ugh.. *looks at you* weeeeird.

Lara: what was that for?

In-na: nothing, nothing *waves her hand*

Lara: Okay? I gotta go *passes by In-na*

In-na: wait! *grabs her arm*

Lara: *faces In-na*

In-na: Baekhyun invited me to a date…

Lara: What’s new? *poker face*

In-na: Lara, hate me. Please hate me. Hate me, Lara, hate me.

Lara: you said yes?

In-na: huh? *didn’t hear her*

Lara: okay *walks away*

In-na: what?! Hey, wait! *exhales deeply*

Lara: *walks over to the library*

???: *searching for books in the Novels area*

Lara: *sees the familiar guy* … it’s him… *goes to the Novels area*

???: *continues searching for books*

Lara *was at the other side of the shelves; looking at the person*

???: *notices Lara*

Lara: sweet Jesus. *crouches down*

???: *furrows his brows*

Lara: *waits for a few seconds and stand up* huh? He disappeared… *sighs in relief*

???: *taps Lara’s back*

Lara: Gaah *tries not to scream* oh God, you startled me.

???: Sorry *smiles*

Lara: heh. Hello by the way *smiles back*

???: … You’re the girl from my first day last 2 months…

Lara: I am? *furrows her brows* oh… Yes. You’re the one … who… opened the door for me *sheepishly giggling*

???: It’s been awhile huh?

Lara: yeah, I don’t go to the Library that much

???: how come you’re here now?

Lara: I…. I… I was looking for someone

???: was it me? *tilts his head*

Lara: *waves her hands* oh no, no, no,no! You got it wrong. You see, while I was looking for someone, I also noticed looking for books so I kind of took the liberty to try to get to know you and such
