I placed my phone on the couch and quickly stood up to open the door for Ahra. Once I saw her standing before me, bowed down and let her sit on the couch. “Wait, I’ll go get the DVDs” I said and hurried upstairs.  A few hours ago, Ahra asked me if I had some new DVDs that I can lend her. Luckily, I have some and told her that I’m willing to let her borrow them. And so, she decided to pick it up this night.

After getting the DVDs from the den, went downstairs and saw Ahra holding my phone. “What’re you doing?” I asked as I set the DVDs down the coffee table. She got startled, locked my phone and gave it to me. She didn’t even say a word and surprisingly grabbed the DVDs then stood up. “Nothing” she said. “I was playing games. Thanks for these, I’ll give it to you next week” she waved her and stormed off.

Out of curiosity, I looked at my phone though it seemed normal.  Is she going to prank me? She better not.

The next morning, it’s Friday. I sat up on my bed, looked at the side where I saw the cold glass of the windows. It’s snowing; it’s that time of the year… I smiled at the thought of Christmas. I prepared myself, took a bath, put my uniform on and ate breakfast. How I loved Fridays; no doing of homework, hanging out with friends, later curfew and most of all, it’s the sign of weekends.

“Seriously?!” I exclaimed. “In-na and Kris broke up?”

Daemi nodded several times. “In-na got tired of Kris’ bull I guess” she rolled her eyes.

“That’s great” a smile crept upon my face.  “She’s happy right?” I tilted my head. “Not bitter at all” Daemi answered.

I passed by Daemi while smiling and holding up my hands tight. “I can’t wait to tell…”

“Baekhyun” Daemi completed my sentence.

Oh. Telling that to Baekhyun would make him very happy. It seems like he would court In-na next when he gets a chance.
