Hello fellow readers! I haven’t really said anything on the first chapter, but welcome to my first ever story! I really hope you enjoy it, don’t be shy to leave comments. I will truly appreciate them!

 Tiffany slowly opens her eyes, reaching for her phone on the nightstand next to her bed.

“Aish, too bright” She mumbles, shielding her eyes from the brightness of her phone before shutting off the alarm.

The awoken beauty stretches before getting ready to go to school. She makes her way to the bathroom, splashing her face with cold water, a refreshing feeling to wake her up. Tiffany finishes her morning routines and heads to her closet to slip on her school uniform.

 “Aigoo, I hate school” She says, dragging her feet.

She descends down the stairs, making her way to the kitchen for breakfast.

 “Good morning umma” Tiffany greets her mother before taking a seat.

“Ah morning dear, here I prepared you breakfast” Her mother sets down a plate, filled with the contents of a Western style breakfast; Tiffany’s favorite.

“Omo, thank you umma” Tiffany says happily before picking up her fork to begin eating.

Her mother smiles, revealing the crescent eye smile Tiffany picked up.

Once Tiffany was done with her breakfast, she kisses her mother’s cheek “I’ll see you later umma, thank you again for the breakfast”

Her mother smiles, a warm loving one “Of course! Have a good day school!”

Tiffany heads out, to her surprise she sees a young boy waiting in front of her doorstep.

He turns around, feeling Tiffany’s presence, and smiles “Good morning Tiffany. Do you mind if we walk to school together?”

“Yoona!! Why won’t you tell me who you like?” Hyoyeon asks, pouting her lips.

 “Ehhh, why do you keep pestering me about it?! It’s not important!” Yoona says sighing, agitated at Hyoyeon’s pestering.

“Because I can help you!” Hyoyeon replies, a gleam in her eyes.

Yoona shakes his head, “No! I can do it myself. I don’t need any help”

Hyoyeon pouts again, leaning back against her chair. Yoona takes a deep breath; relieved Hyoyeon stopped bombarding him with questions.

“Annyeong” Seohyun greets with a cheerful smile.

 Yoona warmly smiles, immobilized by her beautiful presence. “Annyeong Seohyun” Yoona replies, a smile still plastered on his face.

 Hyoyeon stares at both Seohyun and Yoona, switching her stares back and forth before a devilish smirk forms.

“Wow Seohyun! You look beautiful today! Yah, Yoona doesn’t she look beautiful?” Hyoyeon asks, emphasizing the word beautiful.

 Yoona nods, “She looks beautiful everyday”

 Seohyun blushes, hearing the kind words coming from him “Ah thank you.”

 Hyoyeon pulls her down to sit on the chair next to her, “I’m so jealous of your looks. Any boy would be lucky to date you.”

Yoona remains quiet, oblivious to what Hyoyeon’s real intentions are.

 “Aish Hyoyeon, why are you talking like this?” Seohyun asks, growing redder.

 Hyoyeon glances at Yoona who was staring at his feet; she shrugs “I’ve been hearing rumors that Siwon is interested in you”

 Yoona jerks up, not wanting to believe what Hyoyeon was saying.

 Seohyun’s eyes widen, “Eh me? Really? I would never expect that…”

 Yoona’s felt a little disheartened hearing the interested tone in Seohyun’s voice. “Uhm, excuse me…I have to use the bathroom” Yoona says darkly, before rising from his chair to head out.

Hyoyeon snickers, keke I know who you like now. Don’t worry Yoona I was only kidding.

“Is he okay?” Seohyun asks worriedly, her eyes kept on the door.

 Hyoyeon grins, “I’m sure he’s fine. He’s probably on his period or something”

Seohyun gazes her attention back to Hyoyeon and slaps her arm, “Yah! That’s not funny”

 Hyoyeon snickers, shaking her head. Aigoo, Seohyun is so oblivious to Yoona’s feelings. The door slowly opens, Sunny and Sooyoung enter the room chatting.

“Ah! Good morning Sunny and Sooyoung!” Both Seohyun and Hyoyeon say, the latter’s turn their attention and walk towards them.

“Is Taeng here?” Sooyoung asks her eyes hungry to see him.

“Omo, you are so obsessed with him! And no he’s not here yet, I’m sure he’s on his way though.” Seohyun replies contently.

“Hey, he’s single! I have every right to obsess over him” Sooyoung says, a smirk on her face.

Sunny rolls her eyes, “Aigoo. You can have him; I think I’ve moved on from my transfer student phase.”

Sooyoung claps her hands excitedly, “Yes! Thank you Sunny, you finally figured out you had no chance against me!”

Sunny’s eyes blaze up, “YAH!”

Taeng was making his way through the halls; he got lost trying to find his homeroom. He still wasn’t familiar with the structure of the school.

 He felt a hand on his shoulder, “Hey Taeng what’s up?”

 He turns around seeing Yoona smiling at him, “Oh hey Yoona. This is going to sound embarrassing but I’m lost…”

Yoona chuckles, “It’s not embarrassing at all. It’s only the second day of school, no pressure trying to remember where everything is.”

Taeng sighs of relief while chuckling, “Thanks man mind if we walk to class then?”

Yoona nods, “Course, let’s go.”

Taeng smiles, thanking Yoona as they start to walk.

 “So, are you taking a liking to this place?” Yoona asks as they make their way through the bustling halls.

“Yeah actually, I’ve always wanted to visit Korea. Since my mom is from here, she was always talking about living here when we lived in the states….Plus, it was practically my mission to move here” Taeng says quietly.

Yoona gazes at Taeng, “Mission? What do you mean?”

Taeng chuckles, “It’s just that I’ve been searching for somebody”

Yoona his head, confused to what the latter was saying. Before he had the chance to ask what he meant, Taeng abruptly stops.

Yoona was taken aback, “Uh hey what’s wrong?”

 “Who’s that?” Taeng asks, pointing.

 Yoona follows his gaze seeing Tiffany and another guy talking in front of their homeroom door.

“Oh that’s Donghae Lee, he’s in our grade but he’s in the same class as Yul’s” Yoona replies, staring at both Tiffany and Donghae.

 “Oh, that’s cool” Taeng says with sadness.

Yoona was oblivious to Taeng’s sudden change of character, he smiles warmly at Taeng before heading inside homeroom. Taeng takes another breath before heading inside, “Oh annyeong Taeng”

He stops in his tracks, hearing someone greet his name.

 He swiftly turns his head and notices Tiffany staring at him.

Taeng smiles, “Annyeong Tiffany”

 A cough was heard; Taeng felt slightly annoyed already knowing who made that unnecessary noise.

“Oh Taeng, this is Donghae” Tiffany says cheerfully.

 Donghae pats Taeng on his shoulder, “So you’re the heartthrob transfer student I’ve been hearing about! Nice to meet you”

 Taeng forces a smile, “Ah yeah, I guess that would be me. Thanks, nice to meet you too. Excuse me I’m going to head in first.” He heads inside, feeling thrown off. Aigoo, does she really not remember me?

“Well, thanks for walking with me to school today Donghae” Tiffany says, a perfect eye smile.

Donghae melts under her beautiful sight, “It’s no problem. I’m going to class now, I’ll see you later.”

Tiffany waves before heading inside, she walks towards her usual gang.

“Annyeong” She greets happily.

 “Hey Tiff” Yoona greets with a smile, the others including Taeng were warped in a conversation.

“What’s everyone talking about?” Tiffany asks curiously.

 Yoona rolls his eyes, “Well Jessica, Sunny and Seohyun are talking about assignments, while Hyoyeon and Sooyoung here are asking Taeng about…well pretty much everything”

Hyoyeon’s eyes flame up, “Yah! We’re just getting to know him”

Yoona sticks his tongue out, “You guys are pretty much interrogating him!”

Sooyoung fans her hand, “Aish, Yoona stop being so jealous”

 Yoona flinches, “I am jealous! Jealous that you’re stealing the only guy friend I have in this class!”

 Taeng laughs, “Yoona I’m touched.”

Yoona laughs along with him, “Yeah yeah, just don’t leave me all the time for these girls okay?”

 Taeng dorkily smiles, “Of course I won’t.”

Sooyoung and Hyoyeon sigh in affection. They will never get tired seeing his cute smile.

Seohyun giggles, “You guys are in love with him”

Taeng blushes, growing redder seeing their eyes filled with love.

Sooyoung shrieks, “Aigoo! Taeng you look so cute when you blush!”

Tiffany smiles, agreeing with Sooyoung’s comment.

“Aish, stop. You keep making me blush” Taeng replies flustered.

Sunny squeals, “Omo! Too cute!”

Jessica’s lips form into a smile, seeing Taeng embarrassed made him even more appealing.

The bell rings and the gang part their ways to head to their assigned seat.

“Annyeong class! Let’s get started”

The final bell rings dismissing class, Taeng and Yoona head towards the gate.

“Taeng!” He slowly turns around, hearing his name being called.

Tiffany runs up to him, nearly out of breath “You forgot this” She shows him a black notebook, Taeng grows red and quickly takes it in his grasp.

 “Ah thank you Fan- I mean Tiffany” He replies awkwardly, gripping on the notebook.

 Tiffany looks at him worriedly, curious to why Taeng was acting unusual.

“Hey, are you alright? You’re all red.” Yoona says, putting his hand against his forehead.

Taeng shakes his head, “Yeah I’m fine. Thanks again Tiffany”

Tiffany smiles, “Of course”

“Taaaaeeeennnnggg!!!” Someone shouts.

“Aish, here comes trouble” Yoona says, massaging his temples.

 The rest of the gang, including Yul, approaches them.

“Taeng, let’s go to the mall!” Sooyoung asks, tugging on his arm.

“Ehhh?! The mall?” Yoona asks exasperation in his tone.

“Yeah! You should come too Tiffany!” Seohyun asks with joy.

 Tiffany smiles, “Okay. How about it Taeng?”

 Taeng smiles, “Sure okay.”

 “Okay! Let’s go!” Sunny says, linking her arms with Sooyoung.

“Wait, we’re walking?!” Yul asks, overwhelmed.

 Hyoyeon rolls her eyes, “Of course not! Are you dumb? We’re going to take a taxi like we always do”

Everyone laughs, Yul grows red of embarrassment.

“Hey don’t worry about it, I thought we were walking too” Taeng says, dorkily smiling.

Yul laughs, “We’re meant to be friends”

 The gang walks to the nearest taxi stop, waiting in line for their turn.

 “Okay, we’re going to have to split up into groups of three” Sooyoung says, everyone nods.

“How about the three guys in one car and you ladies can split yourselves?” Yoona asks, pitching in his opinion.

“Yah! No! One guy should be in each car, to make sure we get there safely!” Seohyun asks worriedly.

 “I agree!” Sunny says.

 “Of course Seohyun, you always suggest this…” Yul says sighing.

Seohyun swats his arm, “I just want us to be safe!”

“It’s okay Seo, I understand” Yoona says, reassuring her with a smile.

Hyoyeon smirks, “Okay! I think the groups should be… Sooyoung, Yul, and Sunny. Jessica, Tiffany, and Taeng. And Seohyun, Yoona, and I.”

 “Uhm actually Hyoyeon…if you don’t mind I was actually hoping-” Yul starts to input.

“I’m fine with that” Jessica says, cutting off Yul.

 Yul’s eyes widen, feeling disheartened.

“Yah! I want to be with Taeng!” Sooyoung says, crossing her arms.

 “Aigoo, you’ll keep drooling over him. Now come on!” Sunny says, pushing Sooyoung into the taxi.

“I guess we’ll see you guys there” Yul says sadly, getting in the passenger seat of the taxi while the girls pile in the back.

“Okay, let’s go!” Hyoyeon says, pushing Yoona and Seohyun into the back of the taxi.

 “Yah! Why do you get to be in the front?!” Yoona yells.

 “I called it…shotgun!” Hyoyeon replies smirking.

“Geez” Yoona sighs, getting in the back with Seohyun.

The remaining three head towards another taxi, telling the driver the destination.

“Who wants front?” Taeng asks, opening the door.  Tiffany’s eyes gleam up, “Me!”

 Taeng smiles, gesturing for Tiffany to get in before shutting her door, Taeng and Jessica climb into the back.

 “So Taeng” Jessica says quietly, her eyes watching the scenery pass by.

“So Jessica” He replies teasing.

She chuckles, “What do you think of Korea?”

He smiles, “It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people”

Jessica laughs, “Beautiful people huh?”

He chuckles, “Yeah. Beautiful like you.”

Tiffany bites her bottom lip, feeling out of the loop and slightly uncomfortable.

 “S-so! Have you ever tried Korean food Taeng?” Tiffany asks, trying to input her voice.

Taeng adjusts his view to Tiffany, “There were a couple of Korean restaurants in California that I’ve tried”

“Oh, have you ever been to Seoul’s restaurant in L.A.? It’s so good!” Tiffany replies with excitement.

“Yeah I have! The first time I went there was with my best friend” Taeng replies smiling.

“Really? Me too!” Tiffany replies overjoyed.

Taeng chuckles, “I’m not surprised”

The rest of the ride was settled into a comfortable silence. As the taxi drops them off, Taeng takes out money to pay for the toll.

“Ehh Taeng! We always split the toll!” Jessica says, placing her hand on his arm.

“It’s okay, I don’t mind paying. Besides you should be happy, more money for you to spend right?” Taeng teases, earning a laugh from Jessica.

 “There you guys are!” Yul says, making his way to Jessica.

“Let’s head to the food court first!” Sooyoung says, patting her stomach.

“Shikshin” Sunny teases, Sooyoung glares.

Taeng accompanies Tiffany to the food court.

“Wow this mall is huge” He says, admiring the gigantic architecture.

 Tiffany chuckles, “That was my impression too when I first came here”

“They didn’t have malls like this anywhere in the states” He says, glancing at everything like a little kid.

Tiffany couldn’t help but laugh seeing how cute Taeng was.

 “Come on Taeng, we’ll show you to our favorite restaurant! We always eat here” Sunny says, grabbing Taeng by his wrist.

 They all gather inside a small restaurant named House Of Korea, being appointed to a giant table.

“Annyeong, may I take your orders?” The waitress asks; she’s a year younger then them.

Everyone places their orders, Taeng being last and ordering bibimbap.

As they wait for their food they strike up in conversation.

“So Taeng” Yoona asks smirking.

Taeng raises his eyebrow, “Yeah?”

“Which one’s your type?” He asks, glaring at the girls.

“Yah! You can’t ask him that while we’re here!” Sunny yells, enraged.

 Yoona sticks his tongue out, turning his attention back to Taeng.

Taeng chuckles, “Do you really want to know?”

 Yoona nods, Yul couldn’t help but laugh.

The girls were waiting in anticipation, although they didn’t want to admit they were interested in knowing who Taeng’s ideal girl would be. Taeng puts on a thinking face, rubbing his chin with his pointer finger and thumb.

 “Aish! Just say it already!” Sooyoung asks, growing impatient.

Taeng quickly swings his arm around Yoona’s shoulder, leaning toward his ear.

The girls’ eyes widen in shock, seeing Taeng being discreet.

Taeng whispers in Yoona’s ear before returning to his normal position, a smirk on both their faces.

“I understand” Yoona says smiling.

“Ehhh?!” The girls reply altogether.

“That’s not fair” Sooyoung says, pouting and crossing her arms.  

“Yah! Let me in on this!” Yul asks feeling left out.

Yoona whispers in his ear, leaving Yul with a smirk.

 “Ohhh, Taeng you tiger” Yul says with a devilish smirk.

Sooyoung sighs, “Tell us!!”

 Yoona shakes his head, “Sorry girls, no can do.”

Hyoyeon groans, “Unfair.”

The guys laugh, Tiffany pouts.

Aigoo, that same pout, Taeng says in his thoughts looking at Tiffany.

 “Food’s here!” The young waitress says, delivering their food.

She hands Taeng’s last, “Are you new here?”

He nods, “I just transferred here from the states”

She blushes, “W-welcome to Korea. I hope you like my umma’s cooking”

 Taeng smiles, “Thank you. I’m excited to try it”

She grows redder before heading back to the counter.

“Taeng, she’s totally into you” Yul says while stuffing his mouth.

Taeng chuckles, “Really?”

Jessica kicks his shin, “You’re oblivious to everything huh?!”

 Taeng flinches in pain, “Aish. No need to kick me…”

Jessica smirks, “Baby!”

“No! That hurt” Taeng scoffs.

 Sunny keeps her eyes on Jessica, glaring and feeling the flirtatious air around her.

 “Oooohhh does Jessica have a crush on Taeng?” Yoona teases.

Tiffany chokes on her food hearing the sudden question.

 Seohyun pats her back, “Omo Tiffany are you okay?”

 Tiffany couldn’t respond, she continues to cough.

Taeng hands her a cup of water, urging Tiffany to drink.

Tiffany takes the cup, gulping all the water before slamming it back on the table.

 “Are you okay?” Taeng asks, worried about Tiffany’s condition.

 She takes a moment to regain herself, “I-I’m fine. I had too much food in my mouth”

Taeng chuckles, “Aigoo, slow down”

Still the same old Tiffany.

While everyone was busy worrying about Tiffany, no one seemed to notice that Yul’s face was tense. After hearing the question Yoona asked, a sudden pang of jealously overtakes him. He was hoping to hear rejection coming from .

“Well Jessica, are you going to answer my question?” Yoona asks once the commotion was over.

Jessica keeps quiet, fidgeting with her chopsticks. “No. I already said I don’t have a crush on him, what makes you think my heart changed?” She says coldly, glaring at Yoona.

Yoona gulps, regretting of asking that question “It was just a joke”

 The atmosphere became cold; no one decides to talk or strike up a conversation.

Taeng, not liking the dark atmosphere, taps his fingers on the table “Thanks for bringing me here guys, the food was great”

Tiffany nods, wanting to clear up the atmosphere as well, “You’re welcome! I’m glad you like it”

“Ahhh, I’m so full!” Sooyoung says while stretching.

“How did you like the food?” The young waitress asks Taeng as she hands them their bills.

He dorkily smiles, “It was delicious, tell your umma I’ll be stopping by here more often”

She smiles, twirling her hair in a flirtatious manner “I hope to see you soon then”

The gang pays their meals and head out, Jessica and Yoona giving each other the cold shoulder.

“Uh Yoona, can you accompany me?” Seohyun asks, noticing the flames between Jessica and him.

Yoona nods, “Okay” They part off, leaving the others.

“So where first?” Sunny asks, glancing around the group.

Jessica’s eyes light up, “Oh my gah! They’re having a sale!” She points to the clothing store surrounded by sale signs, she quickly grabs Taeng. “Taeng come with me!” She says, not giving him a chance to answer.

“Uh okay” He says, being dragged along.

“I swear she likes him” Yul mutters, jealously enraged over him.

Tiffany watches the two go, feeling left out and jealous that Jessica has been with Taeng for the majority of the time.

“Well, we might as well go there too. There is a sale” Sooyoung says, trying to brush off everyone’s weird character.

The mall was busy, filled with kids accompanied by their parents and students hanging out after being released from school. Tiffany enters the store, she smiles being surrounded by the many articles of clothing. She couldn’t help herself, shopping was one of her many weaknesses.

 “Tiffany!”

She hears her name being called, she narrows her eyes to see Taeng running towards her. No Jessica by his side.

“Yes?” She replies, happy to see him by himself.

 “Look what I found, I figured you would like this” He says, handing her a pink crop sweater.

She gasps, taking the sweater and idolizing it with her eyes, “Omo! It’s so cute!”

 He smiles, “I knew you would like it”

 Her eyes glisten with love on the material in her hands, “How did you know?”

 He shrugs, “It just screams your name, you know, the style and I figured pink would be your favorite color”

She was taken aback; she starts to wonder even more about Taeng.

First the ice cream, now her style and favorite color?

How does he know me so well…Kim Taeng are you sure we haven’t met before? She thinks to herself.

“Wow, it’s like you know me so well” She replies, still in shock.

 He chuckles, “You’d be surprised”

Tiffany was confused; a sudden feeling in her stomach starts to rise. She stares deeply at Taeng, absorbing his every asset, from his dorky smile to his baby face. Everything to her seemed familiar, as if she used to see this face every day. 

[Flashback]

“Can I give you a nickname?”

“Sure!”

“Can I call you Fany-ah?”

“Fany-ah?”

“It’s a nickname I can only call you, no one else”

“Okay! I like it!”

“Faaaannnnyyyy-aaaaahhhh!!!”

[End Flashback]

Tiffany shakes her head from the sudden flashback, she tries to recollect herself.

“What was that?” She says to herself out loud.

She looks up to see Taeng still staring at her, his eyes looked worried.

“Are you okay?” He asks, stepping closer to her.

She puts her hand up against her forehead, “I’m fine. Just feeling a little dizzy”

Her mind was in a swirl, Tiffany was trying to regain her focus.

“Do you need water?” He asks, extending his arms out to support her.

“No, no I’m fine.” She replies, taking a deep breath.

Taeng frowns, knowing Tiffany so well just by looking at her, he knows when she’s not feeling okay.

Fany-ah, I know you too well to know you’re not okay.

 He takes her wrist, leading her through the store to the benches.

“Here, take a seat. School probably made you exhausted” He says, sitting next to Tiffany.

She chuckles, “School always makes me exhausted”

“Same as always Fany-ah” He mutters to himself before laughing.

Tiffany looks at him weirdly, “What’s so funny?”

He looks at Tiffany, “Nothing” Before bursting into laughs again.

Tiffany swats his arm, “Yah! Why do you keep laughing??”

He looks into her eyes, “Because you’re funny”

 [Flashback]

“What’s so funny?!”

“You!”

“Me? What are you trying to say?”

“That you’re funny Fany-ah, it’s a good thing!”

 [End Flashback]

 Tiffany massages her temples, the feint memories keep striking back, and they were starting to give her a migraine.

“Do you have a headache?” He asks, suddenly worried again.

 Tiffany nods, “I haven’t had a migraine in a while”

 Taeng lifts her head up, beginning to massage her temples.

Tiffany’s heart skipped a beat seeing Taeng’s caring gesture; she kept her eyes locked on him.

“My mom taught me how to get rid of migraines, I use to do this to my best friend all the time when we were younger” He says soothingly, rubbing her forehead.

 [Flashback]

“What’s wrong Tiffany?”

“My head hurts…”

“I can fix that!”

 “Really?”

“Yeah here, let me fix it. My mom taught me!”

[End Flashback]

Tiffany flinches back, growing agitated at the sudden flashbacks, and although her migraine was gone the memories of the past were the only thing keeping her in pain.

“Omo, are you okay? Did I massage too hard?” Taeng asks his eyes filled with shock and worry.

“No, you actually helped it away. Sorry, I guess I was surprised you have healing powers” She replies jokingly, not wanting Taeng to worry.

 He laughs, knuckling her head “You’re ridiculous”

She smiles, keeping her eyes on Taeng.

“Taeeeennngggg! Come help me pick out between these two tops” Sooyoung calls from the aisles.

“Are you feeling better?” He asks Tiffany.

She nods, “I’m fine. I think I’m going to sit here for a while, you should go help Sooyoung”

 Taeng sighs, “Aigoo since when did I become the fashion guru?

Tiffany chuckles, watching Taeng reluctantly stand up to walk over to assist Sooyoung.

 She gazes at the sweater in her hands Taeng found for her.

Without hesistation she heads to the cash register to make her purchases, heading out to wait for them to be done. The trip was mostly spent with the girls buying and the boys holding their bags. Yul kept complaining about the many bags in his hands, but Taeng didn’t mind. He kept offering to take their bags, mainly Tiffany’s, as they travel throughout the mall.

“Aish, I’m exhausted. Are you girls done yet?” Yul says, collapsing on a bench.

“Omo, okay okay. Let’s go, let me call Seohyun though” Sunny replies, taking her phone out.

Once Seohyun and Yoona meet up with them, they head into the taxis to head back to the gates of the school.

They arrive at school, the guys take out their shopping bags from the back while the girls stood on the sidelines.

“Today was fun, thanks again boys for carrying our bags” Hyoyeon says smiling.

The three boys smile, “You’re welcome”

“I can walk you home Sica, you have a lot of bags with you” Yul says, picking up Jessica’s bags.

She smiles, “Thank Yul. Bye guys, thanks again for helping me Taeng”

 Yul grows jealous again, muttering to himself before walking with Jessica.

 “I can take you girls home” Yoona says to the remaining girls.

“Let me help Yoona, it’s a lot of bags” Taeng says to him, taking some of the bags.

 “Thanks Taeng, I’m glad we’re friends” Yoona replies, both him and Taeng laugh.

“Aigoo, it’s only been two days and they’re already in a bromance” Sunny replies chuckling.

 “YAH!” They reply, making the girls laugh.

Tiffany smiles, the sudden flashbacks have stopped so she had no worries anymore. They kept bothering her but she didn’t want to think about it at the moment. She was happy she was able to spend more times with her friends and especially Taeng.

 Yet she feels as if they already have a special connection, a bond that can’t be broken. His name seems so familiar; it’s as if her vocal chords have already said his name before.

“Bye guys! See you tomorrow” Sunny says, taking her bags from Yoona and heads inside her house.

“Okay, that just leaves Seohyun and Tiffany” Yoona says, beginning to walk.

Tiffany didn’t even realize how long they have been walking, or the fact they had already dropped off Sunny, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon.

 “Yeah she’s pretty huh?” Tiffany hears behind her, quiet but not discreet whispers.

“She is, I can’t stop thinking about her”

She couldn’t tell the distinctions between the whispers, because of how feint their voices were.

“What are you guys talking about?” Seohyun asks, hearing the murmurs behind her.

 “Nothing. Just guy stuff” Yoona replies, Taeng chuckles.

They drop Seohyun off, leaving Tiffany last.

“Saved the best for last” Taeng says to Tiffany smiling.

 Tiffany blushes, looking away. He laughs, seeing how cute she looks when she blushes. Yoona smiles seeing the chemistry between the two latters. He does after all know Taeng’s type after asking him at the restaurant. They stop in front of Tiffany’s house, handing her shopping bags.

“Thanks you guys, be careful walking home okay?” She says, adding on an eye smile.

“No problem, I think I’m going to head first. I’ll see you guys tomorrow” Yoona says, taking off. He wanted to leave the two to have a moment.

 Taeng smiles, “You’re welcome, thanks for taking me out. It was really fun”

“Thanks for finding that sweater, I can’t wait to wear it” She replies chuckling.

He laughs, “It was my pleasure”

“You really know fashion, maybe you should be a fashion guru” She teases, earning more laughter from the latter.

“You know, I think we’re building a road to a great friendship, I’ll see you tomorrow Tiffany. Good night” He says, smiling.

He waves good bye and heads down the street, the smile still plastered on his face.

Tiffany leans against the door.

 “Kim Taeng, why do I feel as if the road is already built?”

Slow start, but don’t worry it’ll start to progress further down the road.
