-Jaejoong-

The sun shone brightly on my face as I rubbed my eyes. I opened my eyes and then I opened them to see that I was still in LiYin’s bed, with my arms around her shoulders. But her arms seemed to have unravelled around my neck and were placed right on her stomach.

I quickly remembered that LiYin doesn’t know that I’m sleeping on the same bed, so I quietly got out of her bed and snuck out of her house and into my car so I could get to work to change and shower. I don’t have time to go back to my own place to get ready. I was already late for work.

-Zhang LiYin-

“Nugh…!” I shout as I stretched my arms above my head as I lay on the bed.

After a full night of sleeping, I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. But when I touched the left side of my bed, I noticed that it was very warm. One of my sleeping habits that I’ve always had is I’d always sleep on one side of the bed for the entire night. I’m not the type of person that would flop over all the time. So, noticing that the other side of my bed was warm, I found it quite weird.

I got up from the bed and walked to the washroom to take a shower. As I took my shirt off, I took an extra sniff of my shirt. It didn’t smell anything like my own perfume. Instead, it smelled like Jaejoong’s cologne.

Then I remembered yesterday how I was out all night with Jaejoong, Eunji, and Junsu. I remembered I fell asleep in Jaejoong’s car, and then I woke up in my bed.

While I was worrying about Junsu and Eunji the entire night, Jaejoong was trying his best to get my mind off of them. And it worked. I was able to get my mind to relax and just have fun last night.

-Eunji-

‘Wow, this bed is so soft. I don’t want to wake up.’ I thought in my own head. The sun was already shining on my eyes, making me wake up from my deep sleep.

I opened up my eyes and the first thing I saw was Junsu. The first thing I did was get up and kick Junsu off of the bed.

“Kim Junsu! What are you doing on my bed?!” I screamed as loud as I could as I kicked and punched him.

“Yah! Stop! What are you doing?!” He screamed back at me as he tried to stop me from punching him.

“I should be asking you that question! What are you doing in my bed?! You ert! Get out!” I shouted at him.

“Look around you. Is this your room?” He grabbed my hand to and made me look around.

I stopped and slowly looked around the room that I thought was mine. My eyes widened as I saw the difference. The color of the wall, the placement of tables and chairs were all different from my own room.

Then I remembered what happened last night.

-----FLASHBLACK-----

“Yah, Kim Junsu, I’m going back to my own bed.” I exclaimed as I let Junsu drop onto his own bed after I had driven him back from the club.

“Don’t go… Eunji…” I heard him mumble.

“Stupid drunk, go to sleep.” I said as I get up from his bed and start to walk towards the door.

Suddenly, I felt his arm hold onto mine. I turned back to see him with his eyes half open.

“Don’t go Eunji… please…” He begged me.

“And what reason do you have for me to stay? I want to go to sleep too.” I pouted at him.

“Then sleep here.” He replied before he pulled me down towards him. My head landed on his chest with a ‘thud’.

“Y-Yah! Kim Junsu, w-what do you t-think you’re d-doing?” I stuttered the words out without looking at him in the eyes. I could feel my cheeks getting redder by the second.

“Eunji… I like you… I don’t know when I started to like you, but that feeling for you has been growing every day. You don’t seem like the type of girl I would go for, but somehow you’ve been on my mind. And I’m awake enough to be telling you this.” He confessed to me.

I felt my heartbeat increase. I couldn’t believe what he was saying. The player Kim Junsu is actually confessing to someone like me. The world has turned upside down.

“All I want to know is, do you like me?” He asked me.

‘Do I like you?’ I asked myself carefully. I gave myself a couple minutes to think about his question. My answer would definitely change my relationship with not only Junsu but also with LiYin.

“I… like you, Kim Junsu.” I replied quietly with my mind made up. I was ready to take the results.

I heard him give a little chuckle before his breathing started to slow down and his pace became constant. It seemed as if he was asleep. Not long after, I also fell asleep in the embrace of the one that I have decided to be with.

“Do you… remember anything from… last night?” I asked Junsu carefully, wondering if he was too drunk to remember anything.

He gave me a sly smile and then nodded his head.

“I told you, I wasn’t drunk last night. I was just a bit tipsy. I remember things clearly. You know clearly what happened last night. You better remember, or else, I’ll have to confess again.” He laughed.

“No need, I remember.” I quickly replied before he starts to confess again. I don’t want to hear it again. Then I got out of his bed and ran to the bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that my face was bright red. I opened the tap and splashed water all over my face to cool myself down. I sat on the toilet seat for a while, figuring out what my next step would be.

‘Should I tell LiYin?’ I asked myself.

“Yah, Eunji, are you alright? You’ve been in there for awhile.” Junsu knocked on the door.

“Uh… Yeah, I’m done.” I replied as I unlocked the door and walked outside.

“Here, come have some breakfast.” He said as he put some scrambled eggs, sausages, and some toast on my plate before sitting down and eating.

“Um… Junsu... what about LiYin? What are we going to tell her?” I suddenly asked him.

I knew that if LiYin figures out that Junsu and I are dating, she’ll definitely be upset.

“LiYin? Don’t worry about it. I’ve already told her that she and I can’t be together. Besides, it seems like her and Jaejoong are getting along pretty well.” He explained.

“But I feel like this is a bad idea. I feel like I’m doing something that will make her hate me forever. You have no idea how much she loves you.” I could feel water starting to get to my eyes.

“She can’t hate you forever. You’re her best friend. She’s supposed to be by your side forever. And it doesn’t matter how much she loves me, because I don’t feel the same way towards her.” He replied.

“I don’t know…” I protested.

“Stop worrying Eunji. I’ll be responsible for all the results. You just stay by my side, okay?” He lifted my head with his finger and looked into my eyes with a reassuring smile.

I placed my head on his shoulder and tired to relax my head, hoping that Junsu and I will be able to make it through together. I just hope that this relationship does not break LiYin and me.

-Zhang Li Yin-

I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard the door open. I turned Eunji coming in through the door with her head down. She was also wearing the same clothes as yesterday. Suspicion grew.

“Hey, where were you all night? Your cell phone was shut off.” I asked her as she walked pass me.

“I… I... left my keys at home and I didn’t want to wake you up in the middle of the night, so I stayed over at one of my friend’s house.” She thought of something quickly. I knew she was lying. I was always able to tell when she was lying. I knew that she stayed with Junsu for the entire night. But I don’t want to believe it unless she tells me or if I saw it with my very eyes.

“Oh… um… I’m going to go to work now. But I left some breakfast for you on the kitchen table.” I told her with a weak smile as I got up and grabbed my stuff and left the place without looking back.

I shut the door and leaned against it, trying to gather up my energy again before getting onto the elevator. My gut told me that today was going to be a long day.

When I got to the office, Jaejoong was already in his office working. He didn’t know that I was standing in the doorway watching him, because he was so occupied with his work.

There were two different cups placed on his table. One was a blue cup with steam coming from the top and one was black with no steam coming. He picked up the black cup without moving his eyes away from the screen. When he took a sip of that drink, he started to cough everywhere. I couldn’t help but laugh at him. That’s when he finally took his eyes off the screen and looked towards my direction.

“How long were you standing there for?” He asked me once he controlled his coughing. He raised his eyebrow at me and gave me a confused smile.

“Long enough to see you coughing uncontrollably.” I chuckled as I walked in and took a seat.

“It’s milk. But it seems like it’s been here for a long period of time. The taste has gone bad.” He explained as he gave a look of disgust.

“Wait… I saw this cup in here last week. Don’t tell me that this is the same one.” I looked at him.

“Is it? I don’t even remember.” He said as he examined the cup.

“Jaej—I mean Mr. Kim, please make sure you keep everything sanitary. We don’t want you getting sick now, do we?” I warned him to keep his body in good shape. If he did get sick, I don’t know how the company will be.

“Don’t worry. I’m not the type to get sick so easily. I still have a big company to manage, right? I’ll take care of myself, I promise.” He holds up his right hand as he gave me the puppy eyes.

“You better.” I laughed as I took the cup and stood up.

“I’ll clean this for you and leave it in the lounge.” I told him as I left his office to go clean his cup.

The more time I spend with Jaejoong, the more I unknowingly want to take care of him. I know that Jaejoong is someone that will be by my side forever.

But my thoughts ran to Junsu. I knew that I had no chances with him and now that him and Eunji are so close, I don’t know how my feelings are. I actually do love him. It’s not just a liking anymore, I’ve actually fallen in love with someone who I can’t get.

Even if Eunji and Junsu really do get together, I’ll feel like Eunji betrayed me. She knows that I really like Junsu.

Suddenly, my cell phone started to vibrate. I saw the ID name and actually thought about not picking it up.

“Hey Junsu, what’s up?” I said quietly into the phone.

“Hey LiYin. I was wondering, are you free tonight?” He asked me.

I suddenly smiled. Deep inside, my heart was wishing that he’s actually asking me on a date. I was so happy, even if it was a very small chance.

“Um… yeah, I’m free. Why?” I asked him, anticipated.

“Do you want to have dinner with me tonight?” He asked me out.

‘DATE!!’ I screamed in my head with happiness.

‘Maybe I thought wrong about Junsu and Eunji.’ I re-thought.

“Sure.” I replied with a smile.

“Great, I’ll see you at our regular restaurant at 7:30. Bye.” He told me the location and time.

“Okay, see you then.” I replied before hanging up.

I couldn’t help but smile as I held the phone close to myself. I couldn’t wait for tonight. It will be just Junsu and I.

“Who called?” A voice suddenly interrupted my moment.

“Oh, it was Junsu.” I smiled at him.

“Junsu? What did he call you for?” He asked.

“He asked me to go for dinner with him tonight.” I giggled like a seven year old.

“That’s good. But first, you have to finish your work. Don’t just stay here and dream about Junsu all morning.” Jaejoong gave a forced laugh as he walked back out of the lounge and back into his office to continue his work after getting himself another cup of coffee.

I listened to him and went back to my own desk to continue work. But of course, with a bit of hope inside me, I was able to finish everything on time.

“Mr. Kim, I’ll be leaving now. See you tomorrow.” I waved at Jaejoong before I went to go on the elevator.

“Wait, I’m just about to leave too. Why don’t I give you a ride to the restaurant?” Jaejoong volunteered as he got up from his chair and grabbed his coat.

“Okay, sure. Thanks.” I smiled as we got into the elevator together and went down to the parking lot.

The entire time I was in the car, I had a smile plastered on my face. To be honest, I was happy that Junsu asked me to have dinner with him. Just the two of us.

“Well, I’m going to go in now. Thanks for the ride Jaejoong.” I thanked him before getting out of the car and into the restaurant.

I walked happily into the restaurant but the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I regretted picking up the cell phone in the first place.
