Back in the castle JR and HyunAe finally had a chance to have the talk.

The moment JR sat down behind the little round table again silence filled the air. And it wasn't the good kind of silence, it was suffocating somehow.

"Ladies first.“ JR said breaking the awkwardness.

"OK...let's do this. I know my words are kind of obvious... but I can't marry you.“

"They are obvious and I do oppose to the marriage myself. But we need to have good reasons, because this is partly a legal matter and we can't go against the law with just 'I don't want to'.“

"I know and my reasons are quite shaggy..."

"But you still have something, don't you?" Please tell me something that holds water.

"Kind of... OK. Firstly, as you know, my friend wears the exact same name as you. Secondly, you look like my big brother though your smile is different. And thirdly, I refuse to marry someone who is chosen for me against my will.“ HyunAe said finishing her speech off with head held high.

"I agree with the last statement. But I have bigger news than just someone looking a-like to someone,“ he paused for a second to pull himself together for the next part, "I have a girl I like. I've been seeing her for the last six months. Her name is Odelia.“ He said all of this really fast almost in one breath.

The silence, once again, layed it's burden on them.

HyunAe spoke up: "Well, that was a bit unexpected...“ She trailed off at the end.

JR didn't look at HyunAe and also not anywhere in particular. He got a bit gloomy, somehow. "Yeah, well, at least I said it. - Even the guys don't know.“

"I thought you said they were like brothers to you?“

"They are. But... it's just... you know. I wasn't sure back then and now... I just didn't know how to tell them.“ JR tried to convert his thoughts into words.

There was someone behind the door, he was listening to the couple's every word.

HyunAe didn't say anything for a while but then found the words to say: "I don't know if it's weird or not but... somehow... now all this marriage thing doesn't seem so intimidating.“

JR's head shot up. "You mean you're not against it anymore?! But...Odelia.“ he said, whispering the last part.

"No-no. I mean that I don't feel the pressure I felt before about this marriage, I feel free somehow, but I'm still against it.“ HyunAe tried to calm down the prince. „But I suppose that just saying we don't want to be in this marriage won't work.“ the princess continued after a short pause.

"You're right about that.“ JR said. "The Rotten are actually behind all of this. The marriage was their idea.“

"I'm really starting to hate them.“ HyunAe said with annoyance.

"Good for you,“ JR sighted heavily, "Anyway – there is a chance we can cancel all these wedding plans. It's rather easy: when Chen finds a loophole in the law, and I'm pretty sure he does, then we'll have that chance.“

"So we need a loophole in the law to cancel already totally fake arranged marriage.“ HyunAe said with irony.
