First (memories)
It (does)n’t happen - intermediate -
Minho practically pounced on Jinki when the older opened his front door one evening. He was smiling far too goofy, so Jinki raised a brow, letting his friend all the way in. Minho glanced around, Jinki assumed to find out if they were alone before he failed to whisper.
“I kissed a girl!”
Jinki had the sudden urge to just shove Minho back outside, not in the mood for his younger friend’s loudness that hadn’t seemed to go away with age yet. Jinki wasn’t sure it ever would. He didn’t know how he felt about that.
Minho went on, “She’s cute and pretty and we kissed and I don’t know, are we going out now? I forgot to ask...”
Minho, with his fifteen-year-old big-boy pants on, looked like he was going to combust with all the emotions he was experiencing at once. Jinki smiled then, remembering his first time too and the confusion, and tight pants, it left him. At least Jinki was being more understanding right now, unlike Minho had been back then with his outburst of laughter, which had made Jinki even more embarrassed by himself when he told the younger about his first kiss with a girl.
“Do you want to go out with her?”
Minho looked thoughtful, silly big eyes wider than usual. “I think so..”
That’s not quite the answer Jinki excepted. He tried again, “Does she want to go out with you?”
Minho looked horribly confused then.
Jinki laughed, getting Minho to remove his shoes and coat so he could drag him inside and get him a ‘drink’, which was only juice.
Within a week, Minho was fidgeting while telling Jinki he and the girl were now dating ‘maybe-kinda-sorta’. He also confessed the girl kissed him first, mouth smashing in a sudden surprise kiss, which again Jinki raised a brow at. Minho seemed to be quite a late bloomer, if Jinki knew one at all.
Jinki was just grateful he was over his firsts with dating.
Jinki laughed and told Minho to keep calm and it would be fine.
Minho nodded with a smile that said he had complete faith in Jinki’s advice.
