{Your POV}

"We're together now." Lay announced to the other seven boys of EXO.

You have had a lot of experience in keeping blank expressions which helped in this situation.

You admit it, you were against the idea of pretending to be a couple before but you gave in since you just turned Lay down and let's face it, you love messing with people.

You took in the shocked expressions of the remaining boys.

Baekhyun shot up from the couch and stormed towards Lay.

"You, and you?" He pointed at the two of you.

You nodded blankly and Lay grinned immensely. 

Baekhyun put his hands on his hips and scowled, he turned his attention to Lay.

"You, if you hurt my sister, I will hunt you down, and kick your ." Baekhyun warned Lay.

You smirked at his big brother act.

"Don't worry, I won't." Lay grinned.

You looked up at the other boys in the room, Chanyeol had left. 

Where did he go?

"How did it happen?" Kai smirked.

"I confessed and she accepted." Lay beamed. 

You kept your straight face. 

"She, accepted you?" D.O asked in disbelief.

"Yep." Lay grinned.

"I can't believe that." 

- A Few Days Later - 

"Like I said before, strict rule, no skinship." You warned Lay.

"You're one strict woman aren't you?" Lay smiled as the two of you walked back from your locker.

"I don't get why you have to come with me everywhere as well." You sighed as you flung your bag over your shoulder.

"Do you want this to be believable?" Lay raised an eyebrow.

"I don't think we have to be seen everywhere to make it believable." You stated.

Lay let out a sigh and shook his head slightly.

"Why did you want me to do this?" You spoke up as the two of you turned the corner of the hall.

"Do what?" Lay furrowed his eyebrows.

"Pretend to be with you." You said blankly. 

"I just want to test out something." Lay said.

You raised an eyebrow, "what do you want to test out?"

Lay grinned, but it soon faded, "something." 

"What is that something?" You raised an eyebrow.

"I guess you'll find out soon enough." Lay laughed as the two of you opened the door to the canteen. 

Lay and you sat down at the table EXO usually sit at. 

"Look it's the love birds." Kai said. 

You sent Kai a glare and began tapping your fingers on the top of the table.

Chanyeol immediately stood up and walked away quickly, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"What's up with Mr. Cranky?" Tao raised an eyebrow. 

"He's been acting like that for quite a while now." Baekhyun sighed. 

Lay leaned back in his chair, "where's Lu Lu?"

"I don't know." Suho shrugged. 

"Now that you mention it," Chen tapped his chin, "I didn't even see him this morning." 

Sehun cleared his throat, "he left early."

Sehun had his head down and it looked like he was playing with his phone.

You heard laugh snigger slightly and cocked your head to the side. 

He was smirking.

What the hell?

"So, back to you guys, what happened?" D.O raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" You asked.

D.O folded his arms, "what did you say that got you together?"

Lay shuffled his feet. 

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" You sighed, standing up from the stool.

Lay thought for a minute before looking up.

"Pretend."

You furrowed your eyebrows, "excuse me?"

Lay cleared his throat, "can you, at least pretend to be my girlfriend?"

"Why?" You cocked your head to the side.

"It would make me feel better, and I will tell you why a little while after." Lay stood up straight.

You thought about it.

I just turned the poor fellow down. He will probably lock himself in his room for the rest of his life if I turn him down again.

But really, how much damage could it be?

And let's face it, it was another change to mess with EXO.

"Just pretend, right?" You folded your arms.

"Right." Lay said.

You sighed, "just for a little while."

Lay's eyes widened. 

"YES!" He fist-pumped.

"He just asked me and I accepted." You quickly said.

"I would've never expected you to have said yes." Kris laughed.

You shook your head lightly and stopped the tapping.

Sehun stood up slowly and excused himself.

"I need to go, Lu Han wants to talk to me." He lied.

Sehun quickly scurried away from the canteen.
