Graduation Gift.

Heart For 2

Months have gone by and no one really paid much attention to you now the news between you and Sunggyu had died down. Not one person ever mentioned it on school grounds anymore. It was old news to everyone.

During the past few months, L's music entertaiment let him back into the music industry. It took awhile for L to decide whether or not he should return or if he should just let it stay the way it is now, taking care of Minji.

"Do what your heart tells you to do."  Those were the words that motivated L to go back into the music industry.

He was no longer the sub-vocalist/guitarist in a band anymore. His company promoted him to become a solo artist because of his talents that brought him. You and Minji were always there to encourage him. He only played music and sang for fans all because of the two of you.  Minji would always clap her hand to her father's music while you were always hearing L's music all over the streets.

Anyways, your relationship with L ended up to be the relationship you both had before you both were even a couple back then. Best Buds Forever!

You notice that L would sometimes cross the line and take advantage of the fact that Sunggyu wasn't around to stop him. Of course you would notice and always scowl at him or hit him to keep him away.

“When I go to America and find him, he is going to be surprised.” You smiled and chuckled, gazing at a picture that was sent by Sunggyu in America. You haven’t seen him ever since he left a few months ago.

You couldn’t hold in the excitement of being able to see him again. A few months felt like decades to you.

Suddenly, your thoughts of Sunggyu stopped when a knock came from the door. “Come in.” You said as you placed the plane ticket down on the bed. The door opened and L walked in, having his hands in his pocket. He had just come back from his photo shoot, so he still had make up on.

“You came.” You smiled. “Some people didn’t know how to call home while they were gone for a couple of days. Minji missed you, did you know that?” You lightly scowled him.

“My manager took my phone away from me.” He sighed.

“She’s downstairs, did you see her? You can explain to her.” You pointed to the door. While you pointed towards the door, you didn’t notice that L glanced at your plane ticket.

“Uh. Your mom is calling you, she needs your help in the kitchen.” He informed you. You raised an eyebrow. “Oh she did? What is she cooking now?” You said in annoyance while getting up and left.

Little did you know, L took your plane ticket and placed it into his pocket.  He smirked as he walked out of your room. *She doesn’t need the ticket anymore.*

The next day, it was finally graduation. L didn’t have schedules; he was able to make it to your graduation ceremony. Minji attended, so did your brother and your parents. The five of them took their seats in the audience while the students settled down on their designated seats.

While other people were getting settled in the auditorium, your mind was off somewhere else. Just that day before the ceremony, you have found out that you were missing your plane ticket to America. You remembered that you left it on your bed the day before, but now you just couldn’t find it. You asked L if he had seen it, but he had told you that he didn’t know what you were talking about.

You actually believed him. Of course you believed him, you always believed him.

You bit your lip. *Without the plane ticket, I can’t go to America. If I can’t go to America…*

You mentally slapped yourself. *I’m going to see Sunggyu! I must find that plane ticket once I get home after this!”

Your thoughts have been interrupted when you realized that the ceremony had started and the principal had been calling your name for a few times now. People stared at you as if you were deaf. You looked around and finally stood up. You heard cheering coming from the audience.

As you walked up the stage you found that Sungyeol, L, Minji and your parents were screaming in the audience. They care what the others would say about them. Minji was clapping with her small hands while calling out your name.

After the ceremony, everyone piled outside of the school to take photos. L came by with flowers in his hands and he handed them to you with Minji in his arm.

“Congrats.” He smiled at you. You smiled back. “Thanks, Oppa.” You said and kindly accepted the bouquet of flowers.

“Smile!” Your mother from behind shouted out. The three of you turned around and realized that she had a camera in her hands. In just three seconds, you were standing next to L and the three of you smiled, looking into the camera.

When your mother started moving again, this meant that she was finished with the picture. You walked over to your mother with Minji to view the picture in the camera.

L looked around and suddenly his phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and read the message that he had just received. A light grin slipped on his face. He put his phone back into his pocket and walked up to you.

“~~~~~~ I have to show you something.” He held onto your arm. You took your eyes off of the camera and furrowed your eyebrows. “What is it?”

“Just come with me.” He smiled. He looked over to your mother and she gave an approving nod to L. You tilted your head, what is going on between them?

L held Minji while he led you into the school. “What is it that you need to show me, oppa?” You asked him, as you were growing curious.

“Follow me and you’ll see.” He told you.

You found that he was taking to the auditorium. The both of you walked in to the empty auditorium. “Oppa, there is no one here, why-” Your eyes widened when you saw a figure coming out of back stage. That figure walked to the middle of the stage and stood there.

“Oppa.” You turned to L. You didn’t know what to say or what to do at this moment.

“Go. Think of this as your graduation gift from the two of us, right Minji?” He smiled towards his daughter. Minji nodded on her thumb.

“Thank you…” You whispered to him. He winked at you and started walking out of the auditorium. You watched as he left with Minji. You slowly turned around and faced the figure on stage. With careful and steady steps you made your way too the stage. You were beginning to tear up as you got closer to the figure.

Your pace started getting faster and you ended up running up on stage. Once you reached that figure you came to an abrupt stop and giving the figure a bone crushing hug.

“Sunggyu, I missed you so much!” A tear fell down your cheek. You couldn’t believe that this was real. You were actually hugging Sunggyu.

“Without you, my life wasn’t complete back in America.” Sunggyu held you into his embrace. The both of you pulled back, still in his arms. You leaned your forehead against his, having both your noses touch.

“Mr. Kim, I don’t think I have ever said this to you. So i'll say it now before it's too late.” You paused. “I love you.” A smile came upon your lips.

“Lee ~~~~~. I love you.” Sunggyu leaned in and gave you the most passionate kiss he had ever given to you. You gently replied back the kiss and eventually the kiss had deepened.

Finally, Sunggyu was finally back in to your life.
