Days have gone by and soon autumn shifted to winter. It was cold and snow covered the streets. Your leg was recovered and cast free. 

On the other hand, as days went by, it was harder for L to see you. Since he was famous and all, he had to go on shows and had to perform, etc. But there wasn’t a day where he didn’t stop thinking about you.

L was on his way back to the dorms since he was finally free from his schedules. He looked at the time on his phone. *~~~~~, should be done with school soon. I wonder how she's doing.* L grinned suddenly thinking of something. “Hyung!” He called out to his manager. “Yeah?” He had his eyes glued on the road.

“Can I go visit a friend of mine since I have no schedules later?” L asked, hoping his manager would let him go. “Sure, don’t be late because you have schedules with the others early in the morning.” He said. L told his manger to drop him off at your school. He got off the car and put on his hood so no one will recognize him.

He sat on the bench in front of the school as he waited for you. It was cold but he felt warm and bubbly since he was looking forward to seeing you. The bell rang and students piled out of the school. L made sure that he was looking straight into their eyes and ducked.

You closed your locker and went to look for Sunggyu. A smile was printed on your face as you walked along the hallways. Yumin wasn’t present because she wasn’t feeling well so she stayed home. You felt alone at lunch time since people still ignored your presence and still insulted you. But that didn’t bother you anymore.

You stopped by the classroom door when you heard that Sunggyu was talking to someone. You looked through the door, only your head was visible while your body was hidden by the wall. Sunggyu was talking to a teacher. Since the teacher wasn’t facing the door, he couldn’t see you but Sunggyu noticed you.

A little smile came upon his lips. You smiled and waved goodbye to him. Sunggyu wished that he could give you a hug before you left. But unfortunately, the teacher in front of him talked too much that he couldn’t get the chance to. You then left with a sigh. You also wanted to hug him before you left.

L was starting to lose his patience when he realized that everyone left the school. “Did she leave already?” L murmured to himself. He got up and was about to go into the school when someone opened the door. “Oof.” The door had been slammed into him and he stepped back.

Your eyes widened when you felt that you have slammed the door into someone. The door closed and you stood there as you watched the stranger rubbing his nose. You couldn’t see clearly who it was because they had a hood on that covered most of their head.

“I didn’t mean to. I-I.” You bowed and got closer. You were about to apologies but then the stranger looked up and your eyes widened at the sight of L.

“You-“ You blurted. You then saw blood started coming out of his nose. You gasped “Your nose, it’s bleeding!” You pointed. You started rummaging in your bag for your pocket tissue. L took his hand and felt the blood. He looked at it and sigh. “Aishh…” He lightly scowled.

You hurried to get the tissue. You pulled some out of the package and without thinking your started to wipe the blood for him. L’s heart started to beat rapidly. He softly gazed at you while you wiped the blood from his nose. *Only she could make me feel this way.*

You felt his gaze and looked up. You realized what you were doing. You met eyes with him for a couple of seconds and broke free. You took his hand and placed the tissue and your pocket tissue in his palms. “I’m sorry.” You said and left him standing there.

“Wait!” He called out. He took the tissue and held it against his nose. He caught up to you and pulled your wrist. “Yah! Let go!” You struggled but L held tighter. He started to drag you somewhere.

You both stopped at a park where it was empty. The park was familiar to you. L stopped and faced you. Still holding the tissue against his nose. “Why did you take me here?”

“This is where we first met, did you forget?” You stayed quiet. *How can I forget…*

“This is also where I confessed to you. This is also where we shared our first kiss. Remember?” L reminded you. He just wanted it to be just like before. He wanted that love you both once shared to come back again.

“I don’t remember anything.” You muttered. You turned to go but L took your wrist and spun you around. “~~~~!” He placed both his hands on your shoulders. He let the tissue fall to the ground. “How can you forget? We’ve known each other for 10 years! You’re telling me that you don’t remember anything?!”

You shoved his arms off of you. “WHAT ABOUT YOU? DO YOU REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE YOU LEFT ME?!” L took a minute to think. You scoffed. “Of course you don’t.” Your vision became a blur from your tears.

“The memories we had together … It was all a joke to you wasn’t it. None of it was real, just like the love you gave me. That was never real.” You felt that your heart was ripping into pieces. You swallowed hard and bit your lip to hold back your tears.

“~~~~~.” He took a step closer to you. “It was all real. From the day I met you, till now, I always loved-“

You took a step back. “NO! It wasn’t! It was all a lie! You never loved me. I was nothing but a toy to you! Since you found a new toy, you didn’t want me anymore!” Now the waterworks flowed down your cheeks. You shook your head and ran off.

It pinched L's heart to know that you thought of him this way. He wanted you to know that he only did this to protect you. But now that he has thought of it more. He knew that he was wrong for doing so.
