Days had gone by faster now since you had something decent and positive to think about. You were voting in your mind whether or not you should go on this date with Sunggyu today. Sure he may still be a stranger to you in a way. But you can see that he is a very nice and well mannered gentleman. So you didn't have a problem thinking about whether or not your parents would approve of him or not.
You sat on your bed gazing at your your floral summer dress that was lying there next to you. *Is this wrong?* You frowned, something kept stopping you from making a decision. Minji appeared behind you and almost crawled on top of your outfit. You stopped her before she could ruin it.
You picked her up by holding onto her underarms. You placed her on your lap facing you. With your arms supporting onto her back so that she doesn't fall to the ground.
"Minji-ah, Are you okay with me doing this?" A part of your wasn't really talking to Minji but to someone else that you had in mind. Of course, Minji didn't understand and just giggled before putting tiny fingers in .
"Aigoo! Minji~" You cried out to Minji, hoping she would give you an answer. You sighed and gazed at her as she played with the end of your long hair that was in lovely loose curls. It was a hairstyle you haven't done in so long.
*It has already been a year since you have been born Minji. I'm sorry your Appa doesn't know who you are. Even though you may never know who your Appa is, It's going to be okay. You have your Umma, right here.* Tears welled up in your eyes, you couldn't help it.
Minji suddenly look your way, her eyes twinkled and you softened. She spoke out cute meaningless sounds of a baby and you chuckled as if she was trying to talk. It seems like she had made you feel better in a way.
*I should really stop crying over that jerk and move on with my life. I'm not going to waste my time waiting for him to come back into my life!* You furrowed your eyebrows at the thought. "Be good while I'm gone, okay Minji? You can bother Uncle Sungyeol all you want but don't bother your grandmother." You her short, short hair. You sounded like you weren't going to see her ever again.
"I wish Umma can bring you along with me." You frowned. You gave Minji to Sungyeol while you went back to getting ready. Sungyeol asked you where you were going. You lied to him saying that you were going to go shopping. You didn't want your family to know about Sunggyu just yet because what if this date doesn't turn out well.
It was time to meet up with Sunggyu, that day when he had asked you to go "hang out" with him. He added his number into your phone and your number into his phone. He asked you for your address so that he would come and pick you up. You wanted him to pick you up just a few blocks away from your house, just in case Sungyeol wanted to send you out.
You hung your bag over your shoulder and gazed at your reflection in the mirror. "Time to move on." You murmured under your breath and left the room.
You went downstairs to bid goodbye to Minji and Sungyeol while your parents were at the cafe.
"Minji wants to watch you go out, right?" Sungyeol held on to Minji. You rolled your eyes, *No, It's Oppa you wanted to watch me go out.* You already expected this from Sungyeol. He followed you out the door and stopped at the front step. He waved Minji's hand. "Bye!" He waved.
"Bye!" You waved and left the driveway. You already saw Sunggyu from afar standing their, leaning against his black audi car. He was watching the clouds up in the blue sky thinking of you. You walked towards him and Sunggyu looked down and a wide smile appeared on his face.
"Hey, Right on time." He tapped on his watch. He soon stated gazing you from head to toe, he thought you looked beautiful in your summer dress with you hair curled.
You noticed his car and stared at it in awe. "I like your car." You admitted. "Beautiful.." You raised an eyebrow, "Huh?" Sunggyu fixed his throat and place a hand on the top of his car. "S-She's a beauty isn't she?" Sunggyu lightly tapped on it.
*She?* You tilted your head with a raised eyebrow. "Right now, she's falling in second place." He chuckled, trying his best not to sound crazy.
"Whose first?" You stared at the car.
*You.*
He quickly changed the subject and opened the door for you to go in. You smiled at him and got in the passenger seat.
I couldn't update for the past few days. I have been somewhat occupied with other things which leaves me no time to update. I'm very sorry ~
