Bumping into You

It was mid-July in Seoul, the sunlight managed to shine into your balcony windows and hit your eyes. Your eyebrows pinched and you took the blanket and put it over your face. Suddenly you heard someone whispering your name as they made their way to your bed.
"~~~~~-ah." They whispered and lightly shook you. You opened your eyes and took the blanket off from your face. "Yes.." You yawned, you rubbed your eyes, they felt dry and puffy.
"Were you crying last night?" He grabbed your chin and searched your puffy red eyes. "Sungyeol oppa, that hurts!" You pulled his hand away from your chin and sat up. He didn't mean to hold you too hard. He gave you his phone and you saw your reflection on the screen. You checked your eyes and gasped.
You tried your best to forget about what had happened. But you couldn't stop thinking about it. There wasn't a night where you ended up sleeping happily.
You remembered at the thought of you crying. For that reason, you hung your head down low in shame. Sungyeol noticed and he wanted to do something. *I can't see you like this any longer, will you ever forget about him ~~~~~?*
You looked up, with your puffy eyes, you blinked at him. "What's up?" Then it hit you. You looked at the time. "Omo! Minji!" You were about to get off but Sungyeol stopped you. "Don't worry, she's playing in the living room with Umma." You sighed in relief. You were a deep sleeper, sometimes you couldn't hear your daughter wake up, early in the morning.
"~~~~~-ah." He paused. "Huh?" You looked at him. "I'm going out for coffee with my friends. You want to come?" At the word friend, you immediately frowned. Sungyeol noticed and couldn't take it anymore.
"No! You don't have a choice, Go and get ready." He was about to stand up to leave but you held onto his wrist. He raised an eyebrow. "I.. don't want to go." You murmured.
"~~~~~, come on. You need to leave this room, you know. You need to meet new people, you need to smile!" He sat down and he had a point. Even though you went out for various reasons, like take Minji out for regular checkups, buy diapers and baby food, work at the cafe and that was it. You didn't have the mood to go out and to have fun or go shopping.
For more than a year now, you have gotten skinnier due to the lack of food you put into your system and most importantly, you lack of sleep. You slept really late almost everyday due to the amount of thoughts you have in your head.
"fine.." You slowly got out of your bed and head off to the showers. "We'll leave in an hour!" You heard Sungyeol yell from the other side of the door.

When you and Sungyeol arrived at your dad's cafe, you weren't sure if you should go in or not. You were actually on good terms with them but over the year or so, you became distant towards them.
As you got into the cafe you saw Sungyeol's friends, Dongwoo and Woohyun at the table waving at Sungyeol. Their smile faded at the sight of you with Sungyeol, you knew exactly why.
"Hey." Sungyeol sat down and you took the seat next to him. Across from you two pairs of eyes were watching you. You tried to avoid their stares.
"Hey, ~~~~~~." They calmly greeted you. It has been awhile since they talked to you. "H-hi." You gave them an awkward smile and a little wave.
"Hey, I'll be right back i'll go tell Appa that we're here and i'll get you something to eat," Sungyeol told you and got out of his seat. Sungyeol wanted you to catch up with his friends. Cause you haven't seen them in so long. It was time for you to socialize with them once again. Woohyun leaned into and had his elbows on the table. He cupped his iced coffee and looked at you.
"Aigoo, You have gotten skinnier ~~~~~, How have to been?" Woohyun pouted. That was Woohyun for you, he was very caring, just like your brother. You forced a smile. "I have been good." You paused and nodded, it was a total lie, you were a mess. "and I .. just have been on a diet that's all." You lied again. You didn't mean to lie them, you just didn't want them to pity you.
"So are you still single?" Dongwoo leaned in and whispered. He recieved a slap from Woohyun. He was starled by the slap and rubbed his arms "She's our sister, how can you ask that!?" Woohyun glared at him. You knew they cherished you like their own sister. Dongwoo on the other hand, was just trying to kill that awkward atmosphere.
A smile threatened to appear on your lips. "What, I can't ask?" Dongwoo said and then sipped his iced mocha. "We really missed you though." Woohyun nodded, he agreed with that.
Sungyeol came with both of his and your food. You didn't bother talking while he was talking with Dongwoo and Woohyun.
When you were finished with your bagel you needed to use the restroom and excused yourself from the boys. You got up and made you way to the washroom. You turned to the corner to bump into someone. You gasped in shock and lost your balance. You fell back but then you felt a pair of arms encircle your slim waist.
You shut your eyes tight for about a few seconds. You opened your eyes to find your felt in someone's arms and gazed at his broad chest. You remembered back then, when you were held like that. You missed being held from the person you love.
Then you went back to reality, you looked up and you were just inches away from the person's face. He had small eyes and brown hair. You instantly pulled away and you bumped into the wall. You turned crimson red and started to breath heavily. At that moment you were beyond embaressed.
The person fixed his throat. "A-Are you okay?" He stammered, he was also shocked. His heart was beating rapidly and he was getting hot.
You eagerly nodded. "I'm sorry." You bowed and your eyes shifted to the books onto the floor. "omo! I'm so sorry." You kelt down and collected a few of his books. He also knelt down to get his books. You reached your hand out to get one of the books. At the corner of his notebook it said, Kim Sunggyu.
Your picked up all his books and gave it to him. You gave a him a soft and gentle smile. "Again, I'm so sorry for bumping into you." You bowed and walked to the washroom.
Sunggyu watched you as you got into the girl's restroom. He felt that he was getting hotter suddenly. "This cafe needs to turn on their air conditioning higher!" He shook his head and exhaled, he then left the cafe.
