Now that the drama was all over, L spent more time with Minji, You and Sunggyu were secretly seeing each other behind your parent’s back. You both wanted to spend more time before Sunggyu had to leave Seoul soon.

Sunggyu was still deciding whether or not he should go to America. The superintendent of the school board sent Sunggyu a plane ticket.

You, on the other hand didn’t want him to leave but at the same time, he needed to go in order to continue on with his career. Even though you didn’t want him to go, you still encouraged him as much as you could.

Think of the positive side, once you were going to graduate out of high school in a couple of months. This way, you’ll be allowed to be with Sunggyu again.

“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Sunggyu spoke to you through the other line of the phone.

“Araso. Good night oppa.” You beamed and waited for Sunggyu to bid goodbye before turning off the phone.

Sunggyu put the phone down on his desk and rubbed his palms against his face. His eyes shifted to the plane ticket and the passport that was placed next to his phone. He let out a dissatisfied sigh.

*How can I live in America without you?* He frowned.  He got up his chair and walked over to his bed to where his luggage was. There was a picture that was sitting on top of his folded clothes. It was you and him posing happily in front of the camera in the picture. Sunggyu smiled, gazing at the photo in front of him. 

He kept reminding himself that it was just for a couple of months that the both of you were going to be separated but he couldn’t help but to feel emotional over this.

He gently ran his finger over the photo and let out another sigh.

The next morning, you got ready and applied light make-up and curled your hair. This was the last day you’ll be able to spend time with Sunggyu and off to America he goes.

You curled the last strand of your hair and turned off the curling iron. You stood in front of your mirror while wrapping your scarf around your neck.

Although you were excited for this date you were going to have with Sunggyu, at times you would frown at the thought of saying goodbye to Sunggyu.

You heard a faint sound coming on your bed. It was your phone and it had showed that you have received a message from Sunggyu. You opened it and a meek smile appeared on your face.

*Just in time.* You said as you grabbed your bag and left the house. L brought Minji over to his house because his parents wanted to see Minji. You were also invited but you have explained to L that this date was important to you.

You locked the door and hopped onto Sunggyu’s car and gave him a little peck on the lips. You noticed how he looked quite tired since he had never slept the whole night thinking of you. But Sunggyu never failed to shoot a bright smile at you.

“Hey,” You smiled putting your seatbelt on. “Hey beautiful.” He chuckled. “Where are we going today?” You managed to ask him while he was backing out of the driveway.

“You’ll see.” He winked at you and drove off. This reminded you of the first date you had with Sunggyu. But this time, It was more of an exciting feeling then the first date. Admittedly, the first date, you didn’t have the slightest bit of feeling for Sunggyu. But as time went by, you started to develop more feelings for him.

You both managed to carry a light conversation here and there while Sunggyu kept his eyes on the road.

When arriving, you both got out of the car and walked inside the building. You interlaced your hands with Sunggyu and once you stepped foot into the building, your eyes started to sparkle and your jaw dropped.

“Whoa, Sunggyu…” You whispered. The restaurant was twice as spacious and luxurious than the restaurant you both had been to for your first date. However, this one was a café. You looked around and there were couples around.

The waitress asked for Sunggyu’s name and Sunggyu replied. The waitress then brought you two to one of the tables that had a glass window just beside it. From there you could see the city view.

“Sunggyu Oppa, you didn’t have to take me to a place like this. This is too much.” You frowned. Sunggyu chuckled. “This isn’t too much for me. I know you would love this place.” He handed you the menu. The menu was filled with desserts and sweets. Your jaw dropped once again. You looked at the prices and they were quite expensive for just a plate of dessert.

“I like to spoil my favorite girl.” Sunggyu winked and looked at the menu in front of him.

Sunggyu called the waitress over and you both ordered what you wanted. You both decided to share since the plates came out big. Soon, your order came out and you stared at the dessert in front of you in awe.

As you were eating the waffle, you couldn’t help but to keep checking the time your phone. Time was running out and you didn’t like that. Soon, you would have to say goodbye.

After the delicious dessert that was eaten at the café, Sunggyu wanted to bring you to one more place before heading off to the airport.

You got off the car and looked up straight ahead to find that you were at a beach. Since the weather was cold, there wasn’t anyone around who would be swimming.

“Why are we here?” You asked as you walked beside him. You shivered and Sunggyu noticed. He placed an arm over you and pulled you close to him. You instantly felt warmth from his embrace. “I wanted to see the sunset with you.” He smiled. You both stopped walking and stared right at the horizon to where the sun was about to set.

It was silent for a couple of seconds until, “I don’t want to leave.” Sunggyu blurted out. You pulled away from his embrace. You gazed into his eyes.

“I don’t want you to leave as well… but I also don’t want you to lose your job.” You said to him. “Sunggyu Oppa. Look on the bright side; at least we’ll be able to be together again after I graduate right?” Sunggyu stayed quiet, he knew you were right. He sighed.

He turned back to the sunset and so did you, you slipped your arms around his waist as he wrapped his arms around you. You rested your head on his chest. You could hear his heartbeat and you closed your eyes.

“You’re like the sun you know, you bring light into my life.” He passionately whispered. Your heart fluttered from his touching words.

Walking side by side, holding hands while Sunggyu was pulling onto his luggage handle on the other hand. Now you really, really wanted him to stay. But if you were afraid that once you have told him, He would want to stay and you would ruin everything.

You frowned as you glanced at Sunggyu. He had a straight face on. He didn’t want to leave you. You both stopped in front of the doors to the plane. Sunggyu sighed and turned to you. You felt tears forming up in your eyes. You bit your lip to ease them back, but it didn’t help.

“So I guess this is it.” You said. You held onto his hands tighter. A tear suddenly fell down your cheek. Sunggyu cupped your face and wiped your tears with his thumb.

“Don’t cry please.” He frowned. “I don’t want to say goodbye.” You whispered as you looked down to the floor in shame. Sunggyu sighed.

“Let’s not say goodbye then.” He said, that made you hold your head up high to stare at Sunggyu with confused eyes.

“I’ll see you later.” He tried to give you a smile. You suddenly wrapped your arms around him. He hugged you back.

You pulled away and looked up. You gazed at him into his eyes. “I love you, Kim Sunggyu.” You said as you then gave him a kiss goodbye. You swallowed hard as you both started to depart. You felt your heart pinch.

He started walking but he was facing you. “Like I said, I’ll see you later.” He said and then turned around to walk away.

*I’ll see you later…* You frowned as you watched as he walked in. As he was about to walk in through the doors, he turned around and looked at you before leaving.
