You ran as fast as you could through the streets. Tears kept running down your face. People stared at you as you passed by them. 

Sunggyu sighed and came to an abrupt stop at a red light. *Did ~~~~~~ go home yet?* he took his phone out of his pocket and dialed your number. You felt your phone vibrating but you refused to answer it. It made you slow down and now you were just walking.

"Why isn't she answering?" Sunggyu asked as he closed his phone, hoping nothing had happened to you. 

The red light turned green and he sped off. He noticed a familiar figure on the sidewalk and slowed down to get a better view. 

His eyes widened when he found that it was you. He parked his car and the side and stepped out of his car. He closed the door shut and ran up to you, without a thought of your relationship with him.

He took your wrist and spun you around. He frowned. He didn't like it when he saw your tears. He cupped your face and used his thumb to wipe your tears. 

"Aigoo~ Why are you crying, babe?" he pouted and searched your eyes. You looked up and found Sunggyu's soft smile. You realized that if Sunggyu never came into your life. You would probably still be miserable after what L had done to you. Your bottom lip quivered. 

"Sunggyu Oppa." You hugged Sunggyu's waist. You buried your face into his warm and brown wool jacket. 

Sunggyu realized that people were watching the both of them. It didn't bother him, what bothered him at that moment was the one who dared to hurt you. 

"Shhh. I'm here." Sunggyu whispered as he your hair. 

From a few blocks away, L grew jealous how the way Sunggyu held you. He clenched his fist tight and his knuckles soon became white. 

L walked up to Sunggyu, he forgot all about his image of being a star right away and grabbed Sunggyu's shoulder. He spun around pulling him awau from you. 

L threw his fist into Sunggyu's Face. Your eyes widened. "Sunggyu!" You went up to him and examined him. 

"Gwnchana?" Sunggyu straightened up as you held onto his arm. You looked up to see who did that and your face fell when you found out that it was L. He glared at Sunggyu. Sunggyu touched his slightly broken lip on the side of his mouth and raised an eyebrow. “What the hell?”

"Isn't he L, from eye candy?" 
"Omo! L!" 
“He hit him just now! Do you think something will happen to L?”

People started taking out there phones to take pictures and to record videos. 

L glanced around at the phones. *.* His group members and his CEO wasn't going to like this. L glared at Sunggyu.

L then escape through the surrounding crowd and disappeared. 

Since everyone was pre-occupied with L, you and Sunggyu managed to get into his car before anyone could notice them. 

Sunggyu looked into the mirror and sighed in disbelief, his bottom lip was bleeding. 

You took some tissue and started to wipe his lip for him. "I'm sorry he did this to you." you frowned. 

"Who was that?" Sunggyu gazed at you. He was beyond furious, but he would never show that in front of you. "Minji's father." You stiffened as you admitted. You wanted to lie but that would make you feel guilty besides, you were already lying to your family, Yumin, and to L. 

"What?" He raised an eyebrow. "Minji's father is the L from Eye Candy?" He asked. You slowly nodded. 

"That is hard isn't it? Taking care of his daughter and living the life as a star." he noticed that you were uneasily playing with the tissue on your lap. 

"He doesn't know..." you paused. “He left me before he could find out about Minji." you felt like tears were about to welled up in your eyes once again. You swallowed your tears away. 

"Are you... ever going to tell him?" He asked as he pulled a strand of your hair behind your ear. 

"I don't know." you murmured. 

Sunggyu didn't have to ask you why. He thought that it was right for you to keep Minji away from L. 

"~~~~~~~. Look at me." he took your chin so that you can face him. "You have every right to keep Minji away from him. He doesn't deserve to be a father. But think of Minji for a change, I know that she is dying to meet her father." Sunggyu truthfully said. You looked away in thought. 

“~~~~~~, You’ll regret not telling Minji about her father.” He said and caressed your face.

"I know I regret not seeing my mother." Sunggyu blurted. You looked back at him. "Why?" 

"She passed away a few days after I was born. She was very sick, I sometimes thought that it was because of me that made her this way. My father said she couldn't get to say goodbye to me and I didn't get a chance to call her Umma. I didn't get to see how beautiful my mom was-" he sighed. He couldn't say any longer. You frowned. He didn’t have a mother to take care of him; it pitied you to think of it. You interlaced your hand with his and gave him a soft smile. 

"It's okay. Although I don't have a mom, I have a sister and father who are always there back in America." He smiled and he had you to accompany him there in Korea. That’s all he needed. 

“Your mother is very lucky to have given birth to such a smart and handsome son like you.” You grinned. Sunggyu chuckled. “I am handsome, aren’t I?” He asked and winked at you. You chuckled as well.

You suddenly received a phone call from your mom. "Hey, are you coming home? I made you some dukkbokki. Come home before it gets cold!".

"Araso." you said and hung up. Sunggyu knew exactly who it was and started the car then drove off.
