For the whole entire time in class Sunggyu was acting very strange. He kept making mistakes when he was teaching the lesson. You noticed after 7 people had corrected him. It was very rare to have your peers correct him. But it wasn’t just the corrections that made you notice his strange behavior. He also didn’t meet eyes with you like he usually does. He also never exchanged smiles with you today. You wondered why he was suddenly acting this way. *He wasn’t like that this morning. Did I do something wrong?*

It was time for lunch and you opened your locker door to have found someone familiar coming your way from the corner of your eye. You looked to your side and found L coming your way. He was wearing the school’s uniform and he was grinning as confidently as girls squealed over him.

“Oh he’s so handsome!” “What is L oppa doing back here? He looks so good in his uniform?” “Wow. So charming!”

You ignored him and went back to putting your binder in your locker. *What is he doing here? He goes to school here now?* You bit your lip. Feeling uneasy, you hope that he doesn't come and talk to you. *Don’t come… don’t come…. Please…* 

“Hey.” He smiled. You slightly flinched after hearing his voice. You bit your lip. You let out a sigh and turned to him. “What do you want?” You blurted.

“I just wanted to say hi.” He paused. He noticed you still had your cast on and frowned. Before he could ask you if you needed help going to the cafeteria you coldly asked, “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at Japan, studying there?”

*It must be so hard for my mom to tell a lie to ~~~~~~.* L frowned. “I’m the model for the school. There taking a break.” “That means after today, I don’t have to see you.” You muttered. You slammed your locker door shut and were about to head to the cafeteria but L held on to your hand.  

“~~~~~.” He paused for a second. “Can you please tell me why you’re treating me this way?” That was his only request at this moment. The way you spoke to him, hurt his heart a lot.

You noticed how girls were mumbling to themselves: “Why is L oppa still with that after what she had done to him.”

It pinched both you and L’s heart because of what they have said. L heard the girls and his eyes widened. *Is that a reason why she’s mad at me? Cause everyone thinks she’s the one who hurt me?* You pulled your hand away from him.

You didn’t know what to say to him as you walked away. L stood there dumbfounded, watching you walk away from him.

*Myungsoo oppa, I’m sorry for treating you this way. My heart hurts I keep remembering the fact that you were just using me for all these years and then you just leave me. Why oppa? Why would you do this to me?” You wiped a tear that slipped down your cheek. You sniffled and went inside the cafeteria to look for Yumin.

Yumin spotted you coming from the entrance and waved you over. She had already got both your lunches placed in front of her. You gave her a meek smile and went to the table. Yumin’s smile faded when she noticed your slightly pinkish eyes. She knew you were just crying.

You looked at her. “Wae?” You asked and sat down. “Were you crying?” She asked, already knowing the answer. “Ani-“

“L oppa is here isn’t he?” She asked. You stared at her wondering how she knew. As if she read your mind, “I overheard some of the girls over there talking about L oppa modeling for our school.” She glanced to the table behind you.

“~~~~~, Are you going to ever tell L Oppa about Minji?” She leaned in over her food. You shook your head as you took the spoon off the tray and started to dig in to your rice.

“Why don’t you want to tell him? He’s going to find out anyways.” She said. 

*I think that Sunggyu Oppa should know about Minji as well.* “Wait! Isn’t Sungyeol oppa like best friends with him? What happens when he tells L oppa?” You shook your head.

“That won’t happen. Sungyeol oppa will never do that to me. Not unless I tell him to.” You shrugged your shoulders as if you didn’t care at all.

Yumin put the spoon of rice in . She did a double take and found that Kimhee was watching the both of you from the other side of the room.

“She is such a creep.” Yumin whispered. You stopped eating and looked at her. You found that she was staring at someone so you followed her gaze. You then found Kimhee’s eyes glaring at the both of you.

“Why does she hate me? She was glaring at me this morning as well?” You said. You also hated the fact that she ruined your moment with Sunggyu.

“I don’t know. She doesn’t like me either. I talked to her that you and I are friends now. She only hated you because I didn’t like you. But now, I don’t know what has gotten into her. She told me to never speak to you again.” Yumin made a face and poked her rice with her spoon.

“Does she have any friends other then you?” You asked, curious of Kimhee. “Nope. And there goes her one and only friend flushed down the drain. My step-brother told me to never let someone tell me what to do.” She held her chin up.

“You left her? That’s not very nice.” You frowned. Yumin’s jaw dropped. “You know what she says behind your back? She called you names, that aren’t very nice. She scowled.

*I wonder why she hates me so much…*

It said 7:00pm on Sunggyu's watch and he decided that it was time to head home. He gathered all his work and students’ work into his suitcase and went home.

He went home to his apartment. He opened the door and threw his suitcase and his jacket on the sofa and sat down. He caressed his face against his palms. He was very tired since he thought of you the whole entire day. He hated himself for avoiding you after school as well.

*Kim Sunggyu. Do you really believe in what you have heard?* He asked himself.

“Did you know that ~~~~~ has a one-year old daughter?” Kimhee asked. Sunggyu raised an eyebrow, “Mwoh?”

“People said that ~~~~~ was dating her ex-boyfriend that time, they have been dating for about 5 years? They say that she was cheating on him with another boy and they had so much fun one night and she slept with him. And that is how she got her first child. Now her child is one years old. And I think her name is Minji?” She sighed. “Her innocent act is all a fake, Mr. Kim.”

Sunggyu’s eyes furrowed. 

Sunggyu went into the kitchen and opened the fridge. He grabbed a bottle of soju.
