It was like Tae has got the message cause after that night all of his weird phone calls stopped at once. Although there were still times in the day that sunmi had no idea where he was but she overlooked the fact because she had no other choice. Soon it would be 200 days that they were together. She still couldn't believe that they actually managed to come all this way. She didn't know whether Tae knows or not and to be honest she didn't care if he doesn't know. She wouldn't mind surprising him herself. Seoyon had helped her to have a plan for a small little surprise party for the both of them and she couldn't wait to see the look up his face tomorrow.
She was laying on the couch in front of the TV watching a drama when she heard the door getting unlocked. She smiled and jumped off the couch running to the door. He hadn't called her all day so she missed him. Tae closed the door behind him and as he turned sunmi throw her arms around him neck and muttered:" i missed you."

He didn't say it back just hugged her which seemed kinda odd to her but she overlooked it like all of the other things she was overlooking these days. He smelled like cigarettes and alcohol.
Sunmi sighed pulling back. He gave her a short smile which had fake written all over it before walking inside leaving her standing there. She blinked confused and then went back to the small living room. She sat on the couch watching Tae drinking a bottle of water.
He put the bottle on the counter and looked back at her.
"What?" He asked with a seemingly annoyed tone. Her eyes widened slightly because of his attitude. She looked away and muttered a low 'nothing' under her breath.

"Just do whatever you were doing. Don't mind me." He said flatly before walking into the bedroom and closing the door behind.

Sunmi sat there for fifty minutes hugging her knees her heart beating rapidly at her chest. It was the first time he talked to her like that. He never talked like that even when they were having a fight there was always this hidden softness in his tone but this time it was pure icy and pricky making her heart feel threatened. She couldn't just sit here. She had to do something... anything.

She stood up and walked to the bed room nervously chewing on her bottom lip. Then she knocked softly on the door before opening it and walking inside. Tae was standing in the middle of the room with his upper body drying his hair. Apparently he had taken a shower. He didn't make any reaction to her presence and this caused her to feel even more edgy. She walked to him and back hugged him without a second thought pressing her cheek to his .

"Don't be like this...what did i do?" She whispered.

Tae didn't say anything, he stood there stiffly for a few seconds and to sunmi's shock he grabbed her hands unwrapping them from his waist.

"I'm tired..." he said blankly. Before grabbing a white T-shirt and putting it on wordlessly.

Sunmi took a deep breath trying not to take the action to heart. Maybe he was just only tired.

"Tae...tomorrow can you come home sooner? Around after noon maybe." She asked with a hopeful tone.

"I have things to do..." he said as he sat on the bed. She wanted to ask what things but refrained herself from it.

"But this is important." She said.

"I said I'm busy." He said firmly with a sharp tone causing her to flinch.

"I need to get some sleep." He added after signaling sunmi to leave him alone. She didn't say anything. She didn't even whine or beg or ask questions. She just nodded and left the room.

It's ok, he is just tired. It will be okay tomorrow. She promised herself trying not to think about unwanted things and blinked fast holding back her tears.
Don't cry lee sunmi! We worked on this. You are going to stop getting affected so easily. She repeated to herself before getting back on the couch and trying to get herself busy with the tv.

Next day she woke up on the couch with a sore neck and Tae was already out. She spent the whole day waiting hopelessly for him to call and say anything. Anything at all. But it didn't happen. She was hanging to the fact that no matter what he will be back at night. So she prepared everything that she had planned ignoring the heaviness in her heart. By the time she was done it was around 8:30 pm. He was always home before 9 so she smiled faintly sitting on the couch.

She knew one day they will have such problems too. She knew no relationship is perfect and there will be moments that it will be hard for one of them to reach out to the other. But she didn't want to fail her part. If it was for him she would try day after day till all of the walls around him are gone. She smiled to herself knowing she is doing the right thing. It is not love if you don't try and sacrifice. Her thoughts were disturbed by the ding of her phone. She grabbed it off the couch looking at the screen. Probably it was Seoyon again asking how everything is going cause she hadn't told her about the thing that happened last night. she has been bugging her all day but it was not her, it was Tae. Her eyes sparkled looking at the message.
