Ok it's not a big deal just focus on eating. I told myself and unwrapped the chocolate cake with shaky fingers. He definitely had the talent of making me nervous, i could give him that much at least. I took a small bite and concentrated on chewing it like it's a math problem but I could feel his eyes in me. My eyes darted to him in surprise because he suddenly pushed the kimbap to me making it slide to my side of the table.

"Eat it. I don't like kimbap that much anyway." he muttered.

"Then why did you buy it?" I asked.

"You wanted it." He said simply.

I couldn't wrap my mind around the idea of why he would want to buy me things but i didn't want to reject him anyway because firstly i was hungry and i preferred something more food like and second i didn't want to make him mad or something cause he was being nice. So i grabbed the kimbap and said a fast thanks.

I secretly took a fast look at his way. He was eating cup noodles. This must be his life. Every day eating in supermarkets since he has no family. It must be tough. Going through all this while you are still so young. Now that i saw him treating that little girl like that i kinda knew he is not as bad as he tries to project. Maybe that was his defense mechanism for keeping people away. Like how i always tried to show i don't care so people won't bother me.

"Done looking??? "He said and i realized i have been boldly staring at him for the past minute. I looked away fast feeling the heat running up to my cheeks.

"What are you doing here?? Isn't it late for a girl like you to be out?? "He said his eyes fixed on my face.

A girl like me???? Again he was judging me.i gritted my teeth and said:" what do you mean by a girl like me??? What do you know about me???" I guess i said that a little harsher than what i intended.

"Calm down shorty! I didn't mean anything bad. But well you don't seem like kind of girl who be roaming the streets at night."

Again with the damn nickname.

"Who gave you the permission to give me nicknames whenever you feel like it?" I asked even more pissed off.

"No one! I like it so i use it." He said simply giving me a shrug.

"You not so tall yourself." I said narrowing my eyes at him.
