why did i accept this??? I asked myself as soon as she left the room. It was so unlike me. I looked at the book in my hand. Reading was definitely more productive than sitting around with a bunch of strangers and saying nonsense. But i was always reading so a little time away from books wouldn't kill me and i could get to know her more. I was just curious and that was all. And her friends seemed fun. We talked a little last night and they seemed like good guys. I didn't have any close friends in Korea. And even the ones in japan were not considered as close friends since i buried myself in work the whole time and when i was free i didn't have the energy for human interaction anymore. But my job was easier in Korea. My dad thought i have to live differently now that I'm married so i was going to have more free time whether i want it or not. My thoughts were disturbed by the knocking on the door but before i can react the door flung open.

"Oppppsss..." she bit her lip embarrassed." I forgot again. Sorry"

I rolled my eyes." yeah i can see that. They here already???"

"Yep!"

"Wooow they are fast!" I said standing up.

She chucked:" it's because they live near here. When our moms were going to get us a house i suggested here because of them. You know my apartment with seoyon is just a few streets away."

"Oh right..." i followed her out of the room and said:"how long have you all been friends??? "

"Since high school..."

I heard a knocking on the door and sunmi ran to it almost dancing her way. She must really love them.

She opened the door and i got a view of her friends. The three of them were all smiles and were holding plastic bags probably full of snacks.

"Come on in guys!" She said and moved away from the door.

I hope i don't make them uncomfortable.
