~Flash back~

"I'm back!" Sunmi yelled her heart out as soon as she stepped inside the house. She wanted to make sure that her mom acknowledges her presence cause once she forgot to tell her and ended up getting grounded because she didn't believe she has been back for an hour.
"Hello? Eomma I'm back!" She said again but got no response. She walked into the living room and found her dad sitting on the coach with a blank expression.

"Didn't you hear me?" She asked offended.

"Why can't you and your sister just live obediently?" Her dad said with a frown hovering his face.

Sunmi blinked confused. What was his deal? Why was he talking about the stuff he never cares about all of a sudden?

"What..." but she didn't managed to finish her sentence cause suddenly her mom appeared in front of her out of the blue and a palm harshly landed on her cheek.
It was so sudden that she almost fell taking a few steps back in sheer shock.

Her mom was giving her a fuming glare.

She put her shaking hand on her throbbing cheek, as her eyes started to get filled with tears.

"Why...?" She breathed out.

"Who is this taehyung guy?" Her mom asked firmly.

Sunmi gulped. She was aware that her mom already knows about the existence of someone in her life but it was like there was an unsaid agreement between them about not mentioning it. So why was she being like this all of a sudden?

"I tried to let you be thinking you going through a phase and it will pass. I let you take that stupid classes and do whatever you desire but this one i can't! Do you know who he is? He has no family! He has no future! All he has is an awful reputation and a soon a criminal record! He is a piece of sunmi! People wipe their shoes when they step on , they don't walk around with it proudly! I thought i raised a wise girl but now i realized that i raised an idiot. I am so disappointed in you! I thought you'd be different from your sister but i guess i am cursed! None of my children are wise! But what can i do? I am your mother so i can't stay back watch you ruin your life."

Sunmi stared at her mom in shock the whole time she was saying those stuff.

"Don't talk about my Taehyung like that...money and family is not everything! You don't know him..." she said trying to keep her voice firm.

"I don't know him and i will never wanna know him! Give me your phone!"

"What?"

"I said give me your phone sunmi!" And before she can react her mom snatched her phone away.

"i also took your laptop and disconnected the phone in your room! You are grounded until you get your senses back sunmi. No matter it takes a week, a month or a year! Now go to your room!"

Sunmi blinked shell shocked as her tears were falling on her cheek one after another.

"Appa chebal..." she begged. She could see the look in his eyes that he is somehow against this.
