"wooow you look gorgeous!"

I smiled politely at the shop keeper and said:" so this was the last one?"

She smiled back and replied:" yeah! Your mom has an awesome taste! You will be a mind-blowing bride!"

Bride! The word felt so unfamiliar and weird! It more seemed like an insult to me and also to the word itself. I walked out the room and stared at my image in the huge mirror in the middle of the shop. I looked stupid! That's the only word that seemed suitable enough to describe me. My face was pale and my hair covered my shoulders in a boring way.

"Do you need help with that?" I looked back at her and said:" with what? Is it more?"

"Yeah there is one more!"

I sighed:" no it's okay I pick one of the ones that I have already tried on! Which one you think was better?"

"The second one was the best! It made you look taller which is a good thing and..."

"Then I take it!" I cut her off. I didn't give a f**k about how I looked I just wanted this torture to finish.

"He is not in Korea. He lives overseas. He asked me to pick one myself and then surprise him with it! He thinks I look beautiful in everything." I announced the sentences with a fake smile.
