sunmi wasn't a light sleeper. Her mom used to call her like a million times in the morning before she was finally up but this time like something deep down inside her shook her up. Sunmi's eyes snapped open with the light movement next to her body. She blinked a few times unaware about her surrounding then the memories of a few hours a go rushed into her cheeks coloring them into a faint shade of pink. She smiled light heartedly but then her smiling face turned into a curious one realizing she is awaken in the middle of the night because taehyung is sneaking out the bed.

Normally she would think maybe he needs to use the bathroom or drink water. But the disturbing light illuminating from tae's phone made her have different ideas. Tae stood on his foot before silently walking away from the bed eyes on the phone. He walked out the room and left the door a jar. Sunmi gulped now all the sleepiness yanked out of her system. She pulled herself up pulling the sheets to her chest and although every cell in her body wanted her to go back to sleep she managed to stand up and drag her feet to the door. She leaned to the wall next to it. Now she could hear his voice.

"What did i ing tell you about calling me when I'm at home?"

"..."

"So what? That's your excuse? I told you to stop doing that. But you never listen!"

"Are you out of your mind? It's almost two in the morning damn it."

"What do you mean by that?"

"God stop being a child..."

"I miss you too baby. Stop crying."

She was frozen at her spot. But somehow she managed to crawl back into bed before Tae comes back. Her heart was beating so fast. Faster than ever. Faster than when taehyung kissed him for the first time. Faster than the first time his arms went around her. Faster than when he said he wants her as her girlfriend. Even faster than a few hours before when he told her for the first time that he loves her.

He just said love you too to whoever that girl was so easily like it's a routine. He said he misses her...she couldn't believe that her paradise just turned upside down in the matter of a few hours. He wasn't supposed to cheat. He was the one who was supposed to make her feel safe. This can't be true. It's a joke. A prank he is pulling. He will reveal it later and laugh at her stupidity. Cause Sunmi is stupid! She is ok if he laughs at her. She doesn't mind at all. She is ok with being stupid. Laugh at me but be only mine please. She pleaded silently her tears falling on the bed sheets.

She heard him walking in the room so she tried to stay at motionless as possible while inside her there was turmoil of feelings going on.
Tae laid down next to her, his arms s around her waist and she was pulled into his bare chest easily. She didn't say anything and pretended she is soundly asleep as Tae held her like a teddy bear and drift away into dreamland. But she didn't fall asleep at all that night. The whole night she was motionless in his arms listening to his sound heartbeat while hers was fading in and out of tune as always. And she felt cold although his arms were around her. For the first time Tae was back to being a stranger just like everyone else in her life. She was feeling the numbness coming back and she was so ing scared.
