OH I’M LATE!!! 7:42 in the morning already when I JUST WOKE UP. Ugh i forgot to set my alarm... I didn’t wanna run late on the first day but well I can’t go without washing my face and brushing my teeth at least now can I?

After I washed, I quickly put on my school uniform. I collected my long black hair along with the recently dyed blue strand into a messy bun. I dyed it few days ago.

I quickly did my simple eyes make-up and applied some soft pink lip gloss. I took one last glance at the tall mirror in front of me before I left home. it was already 7:55 it’s too late to even try to arrive at time.

“Good morning” I greeted while entering the class calmly at 8:30 am even though i was hardly breathing after running the whole way because I missed the stupid bus.

“Another year and you still show up late… Some things never change…” the old man sighed.

“True, another year and you’re still my boring English teacher…” I mumbled not so loudly not to sound too rude, but I still made sure he heard. That’s Kim Sonsaengnim, he’s been my English teacher for 3 years now and not once in those 3 years we got along. Such a boring old man.

He glared at me but he knew better that my case is hopeless so why bother scolding me? I guess he finds ignoring me a better option. Not that I’m sad about it hahaha.

So I made my way to the back where I used to always sit last year, next to my amazing squad: Eunha, Jina, Sehun, and Jongin. The five of us had been friends since like forever; we get along so well, we always hang out together, and the best part is WE RULE THIS SCHOOL.

I mean I’m not saying I’m a or anything, I actually think I’m a nice person. True that no one other than my squad might agree but what do those es know?

So anyway, after i high-fived some friends, I took a seat next to Jongin who saved the seat by the window for me, and it took me less than 1 minute to get bored by this class.

“Stupid Kim didn’t even give you detention” Eunha who was sitting in front of me turned back to face me and whispered laughing.

“The man knows what’s good for him” I replied with a smirk, after all he knew I would only cause more trouble if he gave me detention.

“Gum?” jongin didn’t wait for my reply he immediately threw it my way and I grabbed it.

“Dude I’m starving” my stomach was literally growling. Embarrassing .

“Here” my eyes widened in surprise as I saw a bag of Oreos flying my way and I know Kim saw me catching it but who cares? I can’t wait till lunch break to eat. No I LITERALLY can’t.

“You’re not so useless after all” I , but in fact he’s not useless at all. Jongin who acts like a total badass is an actual sweetheart deep inside. Okay he's a most of the times but somewhere really deep inside he's an amazing person.

“Yeah, figured you’d run late” he shrugged, “you always run late” he smiled.

“You little piece of know me so well” I couldn’t help but smile at how good he knows me.

“Shut up and swallow Haeri, your teeth are black… ugh gross” he looked away acting all disgusted; he was just avoiding the cheesiness hahaha.

“Whatever, you love me” I pouted, but really he got me Oreos what is love if this isn’t it?

“Did this old man just give us homework?” Jina asked not believing that Kim just did. Opps I keep calling him Kim but I’m too lazy to call him Kim sonsaengnim every single time okay?

“I ing know right it’s only the first day… tsk” Eunha blew her hair off her face.

“It’s not like we ever do homework anyway” Sehun replied lazily still doodling random stuff on his desk. We all laughed a little bit loudly agreeing to what he just said. Really, we never do homework, but nerds always do our homework ;)

FINALLY THE BELL RANG AND IT WAS TIME FOR LUNCH BREAK. “I’m ing starving” I told Eunha as I quickly threw my stuff inside my bag and fixed my skirt ready to run for food. I ran for two steps only before I bumped into something huge and fell back flat on my . OUCH!! THE FLOOR IS ING HARD IT HURTS!

I looked furiously up as I heard several gasps and Sehun and Jina asking if I’m okay. That huge something was actually a someone. A tall someone that I never saw before. Wait let me rephrase: A tall freaking cute someone!!!!!!!

What the hell Haeri this dude just knocked you down! The hell with cuteness this guy is gonna regret this!

“The is wrong with you are you blind?” I yelled at him not caring if this was the first time we meet because my was sore and he was still standing like a statue in front of me. He remained quiet for good 5 seconds before he calmly leaned forward with his expressionless face and extended his arm to help me get up. I scoffed at the bastard refusing to take his help, he didn’t even say sorry.

I narrowed my eyes at his nametag, it said 'Zhang Yixing'.
