"Can you hand me the sugar, please?" you asked Jimin.

"Sure!" he agreed readily and did as told.

"Thank you," you smiled at him before turning to the other BTS members. "And you guys as well for helping me with the preparations for the Christmas party." That's right. You were going to hold a Christmas party and you were really excited about. The BTS members shared your sentiments as well.

"Anything for you, dear," Jungkook smiled, wrapping your arms around your waist. You beamed at your boyfriend of 2 years as you snuggled closer to him, feeling his warmth. You were so lucky to have such a sweet boyfriend and friends whom you could rely on.

"Geez. Stop acting so lovey-dovey. You guys are making me envious," Jin said, scrunching his face in disgust playfully.

"Too bad," Jungkook grinned, sticking his tongue out cheekily. He then planted a kiss on you, making your cheeks flush. "Laura's my girlfriend and I plan to shower her with all the love I have." The eight of you then merrily chatted with each other, laughing every once a while as you did so.

At a point in time, V thought it was a good idea to act like a professional chef and do exaggerated movements. As a result, the flour he was mixing ended up splatting on Suga. To say that Suga was not happy was an understatement. The kitchen soon turned into a war zone as food was flung at one another. Squeals and laughter could be heard as you guys tried to avoid getting hit by the food flung, albeit unsuccessfully most of the time. 

"I think it would be best to stop now otherwise we'll be wasting more food and won't get the preparations done at this rate," you laughed while trying to catch your breath after a while. The BTS members halted whatever they were doing and looked around. The kitchen was a mess. And so were they.

"Yeah. Before we do anything else, we better clean the place up," Rap Monster said, rubbing his nape somewhat sheepishly. Under his leadership, it didn't take long for everyone to get to work. Once the kitchen was spick and span, the eight of you resumed with the preparations. You hummed softly as you placed your pastries into the oven. This Christmas party was going to be fun!

Days later, it was finally the day of the Christmas party. You and your female friends were having an enjoyable time so far, playing with your dolls, eating delectable food and conversing with each other. This was interrupted when the door creaked open. Your eyes widened. Who could it be?

"Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!" a familiar voice boomed. You covered your mouth with your hand in surprise at the sight in front of you. Jungkook was wearing a Santa Claus outfit and carrying a sack over his shoulder. With a grin, he took out a present from his sack and handed it to you.

"For being a good girl, here's your present, Miss Laura," he said. Your eyes lit up at the gift and you beamed at him.

"Thank you! May I open it, Mr. Claus?" you answered cheekily.

"Of course," Jungkook replied, the jolly smile never leaving his face. With a pounding heart, you opened your present to reveal the doll Esmae. 

"Oh my god. Thank you so, so much!" you squealed, throwing your arms around your boyfriend.

"Thank the others too. They chipped in some of their money to get this doll," he smiled. You nodded happily. You could also hear your friends saying how fortunate you were to get the popular doll and how they wished they could have it, among others. Your smile widened and you rejoined your friends, continuing to play with your dolls exchanging gifts with them. However, you couldn't help hearing stuff along the lines of "Jungkook and the others really spoilt her a lot, buying her such an expensive gift" and "They need not buy such an expensive gift. It's the thought that counts, after all" among your friends. Your smile faltered as you felt a pang of guilt. You were so delighted about getting the gift that you didn't think about that.

"Err... I would like to get some fresh air. I'll be back in a bit," you said, standing up before walking off. From the corner of your eyes, you could see your friends and Jungkook exchanging puzzled and concerned looks but you decided to ignore them and continued onward.

You eventually came to find your friends biting their lips, looking ashamed of themselves.

"What's wrong?" you asked quizzically.

"Sorry about earlier. We didn't mean to make you feel bad," one of your friends apologised. The others nodded.

"It's alright. You guys weren't exactly wrong," you smiled slightly. Your friends heaved a sigh of relief. With that settled, the party continued.

Later in the evening, you were snuggling in your bed when you heard a knock on the door.

"May I come in?" Jungkook asked softly.

"Yes," you nodded. Jungkook opened the door and got into your bed.

"I know you've forgiven your friends but I just want to tell you not to let their words get to you. We seriously don't mind spending a little bit more money if it makes you happy," he said gently.

"That's precisely why I still feel kinda bad," you confessed. "You guys have done so much for me yet I..." Before you could continue, you felt a familiar sensation on your lips. Apparently, Jungkook had kissed you to stop you from speaking further. Jungkook then backed away, gazing at you with serious eyes.

"Listen. Meeting you was one of the best things that had ever happen to us. You cheered for us when we felt tired, made us smile with your sweet smile and so much more. For us, those are more than enough. So don't ever say that you didn't do anything for us," he said. Your eyes welled up with tears and you nodded. The two of you then spent the rest of the evening cuddling. Jungkook also watched you play with your new doll. Seeing the bright smile on your face, a smile made its way to his lips. Nothing made him happier than seeing the love of his life being happy.
