"Whew! The performance was exhausting!" Sunggyu wheezed as he and the other Infinite members entered their dressing room.

"But lots of fun," Dongwoo grinned. All the members voiced their agreement. Except for one.

"No, it isn't. I screwed up a lot of the moves," L grumbled, folding his arms.

"Oh, come on, dear. Everyone makes mistakes. Besides, you covered up your mistakes really well," Sungyeol, smiled at him reassuringly.

"Stop comforting me. You know that it's not true," L growled.

"But -- "

"What part of 'stop comforting me' do you not understand?! What are you, an idiot?! And you have no right to say anything about me when you're not that good yourself!" L yelled. Everyone else gasped before the room fell silent. Sungyeol just stared at L for another good few minutes before running off, tears streaming down his face.

Sungyeol ran until he was outside the backdoor of the stadium. He sat down on the stairs and covered his eyes,  still sobbing.

"He's right... I'm so useless!" he cried. He then spotted a glass shard. A thought then came to his mind.

"I should just die," he whispered. With trembling hands, he took it and began cutting his arm and legs. But of course, it wasn't not enough.

"Why am I not dead yet?!" he screamed. He caught sight of the concrete wall... and banged his head against it. Hard. Then he felt his conciousness slipping away...

Meanwhile, in the dressing room, Sunggyu was chiding L.

"Hey, don't you think you've gone too far with your words?" he said. 

"Yeah," L, who realised what he had just done, agreed. He hung his head in shame.

"Let's go after him," Sungjong said. Everyone nodded. They ran after Sungyeol and eventually found him outside the backdoor. What they saw made them gasp in horror. Sungyeol was lying on the ground, unconscious. Blood was gushing out of the wounds on his head, arms and legs.

"Quick! Call the ambulance!" Woohyun shouted. 

Sungyeol was immediately rushed to hospital. The Infinite members looked at their unconcious friend, worry written on their faces. Everyone then turned their attention to L.

"Look what you've done," Woohyun reprimanded.

"Yeah. You should know how insecure he is," Dongwoo added. L nodded silently, words unable to form in his mouth. He then clutched his lover's hand.

"I'm so sorry. It's all my fault..." he said softly, the tears he had been trying to hold back flowing out. 

Just then, Sungyeol's eyes fluttered open. L's eyes widened while the others heaved a sigh of relief. L hugged his lover.

"Thank goodness you're alright! If not..." L whispered. Sungyeol pushed L away, nearly making him lose balance.

"What are you doing here? I thought you found me useless," he glared at L, his eyes cold.

"Look, I'm sorry. I lost my temper. I promise it wouldn't happen again," he apologised.

"You better. Don't you know how hurting it was to hear all those words? Especially when they're said by the one who means so much to me?" Sungyeol said, looking less angry now. His eyes were b with tears.

"So... do you forgive me?" L asked. Everyone looked at Sungyeol in anticipation, waiting for his reply.

"... Yes, of course, you idiot," Sungyeol gave L a small smile. L blinked a couple of times, as though he couldn't believe what he had just heard, before hugging Sungyeol.

"Thank you. I would treasure this second chance," L smiled, earning cheers from the other memebers.
