The wind howled loudly and the rain pitter-pattered on the ground vigorously. A streak of lightning pierced through the grey clouds looming over the sky, emitting a crackling sound. You screamed in fright and covered yourself with a blanket. Quivering, you popped your head out of the blanket. Oh, hopefully Leo would come back from buying snacks soon...

Meanwhile, at the pavement, Leo was rushing back to your place. He had just left the shop when the storm occurred and knowing you were terrified of storms, had immediately quickened his pace.

"Almost there," he muttered as your house came into view. Taking longer strides, he finally reached there. He opened the door and put the dripping umbrella and the snacks aside before sprinting to your room. You still had the blanket covering you. Seeing Leo, relief washed over you to point when you started crying.

Alarmed, Leo went to your side and cuddled you while your hair gently.

"It was so scary..." you sobbed like a little child as you leaned in closer to him.

"There, there. Don't cry. I'm here," Leo comforted you. You sniffed as the last of your tears fell. You snuggled deeper into Leo's warm embrace, glad for the comfort.

Just then, the loud boom of thunder echoed through the room, making you scream once more. You clutched more tightly onto Leo, burying your face in his chest.

"Poor Becky. She must be really petrified," Leo thought as he patted your back and pacified you. He could feel your body trembling like mad and your heart thumping wildly against your chest. He kept patting and soothed you until the storm stopped.

"It's ok now. The storm has ended," Leo said softly.

"Really?" you asked, peeping out. Leo nodded his head. You got off him, still shaking.

"Come on. Let's go have the snacks. I will make some tea to calm you down," Leo said.

"Alright," you agreed. Taking you by the hand, Leo led you to the dining room. Your eyes lit up at the sight of (favourite snack), your earlier fear fading away. Eagerly, you went to take the packet of it and began munching it happily. Leo chuckled at the sight, feeling happy and relieve to see the colour back on your face. He then went to make some tea, just as he had said earlier.

Soon, the aroma of tea wafted through the house. You inhaled the sweet frangrance and smiled.

"Here's the tea," Leo hummed softly as he set the pot of tea down on the dining table. He poured a generous amount of tea into your cup and handed it to you.

"Thank you, Leo," you whispered.

"No problem. Anything for you, my dear," Leo smiled and pecked your cheeks, making you blush. Leo then poured some for himself. The two of you sipped the tea, enjoying the taste of it. Just like that, the two of you spent the next half an hour having your snacks and talking, the earlier storm no longer in your mind.
