“So, what makes you ask me to go to have a cup of coffee with you? Guess, the world is rotating the other way around, is it?” You giggled as you gulped down your coffee.

Myungsoo bewildered at your remark. “Geez, is it wrong if I’m asking you to go get a cup of coffee. And please, don’t hyperbole it. What? The world is rotating the other way around? Damn you.” Myungsoo scoffed jokingly. You just chuckled at it.

“Just, I thought you would need a cup of coffee to brighten up your mood.” Myungsoo shrugged and you just nodded nonchalantly.

“So, you better be proud because me, THE L, asked you out and even treat you a cup of coffee!” Myungsoo smirked as he pointed to himself while emphasizing the word ‘THE L’.

You rolled eyes, “Yeah right. Oh, I’m so proud that THE L treat me a cup of coffee.” You cooed and pretending that you’re proud with a funny face.

“Not funny, you woman.” Myungsoo rolled his eyes. You only chuckled at it. But then, a girl approached over your desk stealthily. You tilted your head toward her in confusion.

“Umm.. umm.. L oppa. Can we take a photo together?” The girl cautiously spoke. You raised your eyebrow and eyed her suspiciously as she wanted to take a picture together with Myungsoo who is not even a celebrity.

“Hmm, who are you?” Myungsoo asked with a cold expression. The girl flinched at his voice.

“I’m your junior in Woolim High..” The girl spoke in cautious tone. She’s nervously holding the camera.

“Sorry, next time. Now, go.” Myungsoo turned his head toward his coffee and ignored the girl completely. The girl bewildered when Myungsoo asked her to go, she just stood there dumbfounded but then she came back to her senses and walked away with sadness written all over her face.

“Whoah, what was that? You asked him demanding an explanation.

“Told you, THE L.” Myungsoo emphasize the word ‘THE L’ but this time he’s not smirking. He’s expressionless.

“Come on, tell me the real deal.” You poked his arms several times. He groaned and fixed his position.

“Just some juniors kept pestering me and called themselves as my fans. I had a hard time dealing with those kids. Makes my head hurts.” Myungsoo stated coldly as he kept fixed his gaze on his cup. Your mouth just went gaped as he explained that.

“Seriously? You’re not lying or boasting yourself? Why I never heard that?” You raised your eyebrow again. Myungsoo rolled his eyes.

“Since when you had any interest on what’s going on the school especially junior’s gossips.” Myungsoo calmly stated and you just nodded and made a face ‘Ah-yeah-right’.

“Wow, so it is true that you’re THE L afterall.” Myungsoo just rolled his eyes at your comment.

“You should be nicer to your fans, you know.” You calmly spoke to him.

“Remind me again why should I be nicer to them?”

“Because they’re your fans. At least, appreciate them.” You stated as you annoyed how he treated his juniors like that.

“Psh. I didn’t ask them to be my fans, so I don’t have to do any effort to make them happy. I’ll do that only to people I wanted to.” Myungsoo gulped down his coffee and slammed it on the desk as he annoyed with your questions.

“Wow, you’re asking me out tonight to make me happy, means I’m special then?” You winked at him and chuckled. He just kept silent and gulped down again his coffee.

“Anyway, why do you hate them so much? Isn’t it good that people actually love you and admire you?” You twirl your hand around the cup.

“They kept pestering me and showering me with their gifts and their annoying voice, oh God. I can’t stand of it.” Myungsoo scrunched his face at the memory his fans chasing him with their annoying voice.

“Oh is it like this? Oppa, oppa! Be my boyfriend, oppa! Oppa!” You raised your voice into high pitched to annoyed Myungsoo.

“Don’t make me leave you here all alone, ~~~.” He stated shortly and coldly. Instantly, you shut your mouth and giggled and Myungsoo couldn’t help but to giggle as well.

Both of you continued chat and joking with each other as the night grew deeper. You glanced at your watch and you’re bewildered as the long needle pointed at 2 and the short needle pointed to 11.

“Wow, time flies so fast! It’s 11pm already! I think I need to go home, Myungsoo.” You told him as you packed your things up and gulped down your third cup of caramel macchiato.

Both of you got out from the café and headed to your house. When you’re approaching your house, you could see there’s a motorbike in front of your house. You hopped off from the bike and carefully made your way toward the motorbike.

“Oppa? What are you doing here?” You tilted your head to see Dongjun leaning against his bike while tapping his foot in anxious.

“Where have you been? I’m worried sick! I called you but it went through mailbox and I went here and saw your room’s lights were off.” Dongjun frantically blurted out.

You hugged him instantly and he calmed down as you hug him. “Sorry Oppa, my phone’s battery got run out and I went out for a while.” You snuggled to his chest.

“With who?”

“With me.” Myungsoo approached you and Dongjun. His stare was cold and straight.

“Umm.. care to explain, babe?” Dongjun emphasize the word ‘babe’. You flinched as he emphasize it.

“I just wanted to make sure that she’s okay. Is it wrong?” Myungsoo scoffed.

“What? So now you’re my babe?” Dongjun glared at him and rolled his eyes. You couldn’t help but to giggle. “And why are you giggling? You’re supposed to give me an explanation, young lady. Why in the world you’re with this guy this late?” Dongjun fixed his gaze to your eyes.

You smiled warmly to him, “What Myungsoo said was true. He just wanted to make sure I’m fine. Don’t worry, oppa.” You patted his shoulder to calm him. Dongjun let out a sigh.

“Fine then, I’ll just go home. Bye, ~~~” Myungsoo waved his hand toward you.

You nodded and waved back and yelled, “I had fun today! Thank you!”. Myungsoo raised his hand as his back facing you. He hopped on to his bike and sped off to his home.

“Now, there’s something I need to tell you. I’ll see you in your room, since your mom is home already.” Dongjun kissed your forehead. You nodded and went inside your house.
