A Small Drama Pt. 1
Ordeal
A/N Hello there friends ^_^ I know this was supposed to be an epilogue. Unfortunately, it turned out to be something else. This small drama was the result of the MTBD I'm having because of exam preparation. Hope it's alright with you all. Or else I would take down this chapter if you insist :)
A few years Later:
No One’s POV:
It has been more than seven years since Chunji and Jin Kyong remarried. Initially Hansuke and she were in a small rift as he was the reason for the divorce. However, given her character, she just couldn’t stay mad on him for long as they both shared a strong sibling bond.
After continuous apologies, she forgave him instantly. Speaking of Hansuke, he and Ho Seok are still going strong. They have adopted a small bunch of kids in Japan and their business is mostly in Japan. So they just visit Korea for a short period of time, like a vacation.
Hyun Su and Sanghyun are still together as well. Hyun Su is trying to become a cardiologist now while Sanghyun is preparing to become a professor. Meanwhile, Chunji and Jin Kyong’s kids, Sang Ki and Sun Ah are in their mid-to-late teens.
And they have got a new addition to their family, a few months old baby boy. “Sang Ki-ah, could you look after Han Min for some time while eomma cooks?” Jin Kyong asked her older boy. Han Min is her younger son.
“But where’s Sun Ah, eomma? Can’t she look after him?” he whined.
“Sun Ah has gone out dear. Can’t you help your mother? Please?” she pleaded him, knowing that the boy can never refuse his mother especially when she is pleading like now.
He let out a heavy sigh. “Fine mom, I will.” He mumbled under his breath and walked away towards his baby brother’s room.
A few minutes would have passed by, when Jin Kyong started hearing her little one wailing. “Sang Ki-ah!” she called out to the older one who was supposed to be babysitting, but got nothing in response. She waited for a few more minutes and finally decided to take a look by herself.
She quickly turned off the stove, wiped her hands in a cloth and started walking towards the little one’s room. As she ascended the stairs, there was nothing but dead silence. But as she neared the room, she started hearing giggling noises.
“Yah! That’s not how you look after your brother!” she let out a shout as soon as she entered the room.
Sang Ki was actually playing with the little boy. But she was not angry for that. It was the method he was using. Or you can say that she was scared. Sang Ki has pacified the little Han Min by floating him in the air using the power the older boy possessed.
“Eomma! Why not? Look, how happy Han Min is.” He pointed to the little one who was now in his mother’s hands.
“I can see that. But what if he gets hurt?”
“Aish! Eomma! Do you think I will do something that might hurt my brother?”
She let out a sigh realizing her mistake. She walked up to him and wrapped one of her hands around Sang Ki, pulling him into a tight embrace while balancing the little one on the other.
“Mianhe Sang Ki-ah. Eomma just lost her mind. I know that you won’t hurt your brother.”
The older boy wrapped his hands around his mother and held her tightly. He knows that she was having hard time looking after all of them. Suddenly Han Min started wailing once again.
“Give him to me eomma. I will look after him.” He let go of his mother and motioned her to hand over the little one to him.
“It’s okay, Sang Ki-ah. Minnie is hungry. So eomma will take over now. Thank you for looking after him.” She pulled the older boy closer and kissed his forehead.
Sang Ki flashed her a smile, kissed her cheeks and walked out of the room while Jin Kyong flopped down on the couch to nurse the now hungry boy. She later burped him and put him to sleep in his crib, before walking out of the room.
She found Sang Ki in the living room, playing some games. “Did Sun Ah come back?” she questioned him.
“I don’t know eomma.” He replied her as he finished up the game.
“Okay, no problem. I will go up and check on Ricky. He’s been sleeping for too long.” She took some medicines and water in a tray and walked up the stairs.
“I will also come.” He placed the controller on the couch and followed his mother up the stairs.
Ricky was staying at their place right now. He has come from abroad a few weeks ago and has been sick since the past few days. The mother-son duo stood in front of his room. She gently knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds but no response came from the other side.
She knocked once again and said, “Ricky-ah! Noona is coming in. okay?” she waited for a second and opened the door.
Her eyes widened and she stood frozen. “Noona?” Ricky had a blank face.
Sang Ki who stood behind her, stormed past her into the room, grabbed the shocked Ricky by the collar and before anyone could realize what was happening, he lunged his fist at
