No One’s POV:

Just like Jin Kyong had planned, she locked Chunji into the room and brought Sang Ki as well. At first she was not convinced it was the right thing to do.

But soon she convinced herself and finally decided to go ahead with the plan. As she and her brother, Hyun Su continued to stand out of the locked room, the little one opened the door and walked in.

She immediately locked the door and waited at the front of the door, with her ears pressed against the door in case she had to open them quickly. But all she heard was a long, deafening silence.

She so badly wanted to open the door and find out what was happening inside. She took hold of her brother's wrist and held it tightly, hoping that would stop her from unlocking the door.

"Relax noona," Hyun Su hugged her from behind.

She opened to tell something but her phone notified her of a new message. She was going to ignore it, when Hyun Su said, "Open it," she looked at him, one eyebrow raised. "Do it. You will thank me later. Trust me."

The look in his eyes made her realize that he wasn't playing around. So she let out a sigh, took out the phone from her pocket and opened the text. Her eyes widened as she saw that it was a text from her husband.

"How did you know?" she looked at her brother over her shoulders while he just smiled at her in return. She decided not to reply to the text. Suddenly her eyes widened in realization. "Could you read their minds?"

"Yeah I kind of can, noona." he nodded his head. "But you got to calm your mind down a little more. It's quite distracting me from hearing their thoughts." she looked a little flustered. "I understand noona. But don't worry, neither of the two are going to hurt the other."

A few minutes passed by, but still the other side of the door was eerily silent. She received a text once again and her eyes started to tear up as she read it. Chunji was desperately pleading her to open the door.

"What's going on in Channie's head?" she looked at her brother, who was kind of avoiding looking at her.

"Noona," he started softly and paused for a moment, "All I will say is, hyung is struggling a lot to sort out his unsettling trail of thoughts."

Even though her brother didn't say much, still the look on his face was enough for her. She slid down against the door, clutching onto her phone tightly as tears slid down her cheeks.

Feeling helpless, Hyun Su flopped down beside her and held her in an embrace. They both remained like that for a very long time and she was glad that at least she had her brother by her side.

The more he explained what was happening inside, the more she broke down as she couldn't see her husband and her dear son struggle like that with their emotions but she wasn't left with any other choice.

A few more hours passed by, and still there was hardly any change inside the room. Not able to take it anymore, she decided to finally give up her try on getting those two together.

She got up and just when she was going to open the door, Hyun Su held her by her wrist and shook his head.

She looked up at him with a questioning gaze. "Don't open it." he whispered while shaking his head.

"But-” she started. However, he cut her in.

"Trust me noona. Don't open it now." he stared straight into her eyes which were swollen and were still filled with tears.

A few minutes later, they both could hear a soft conversation. After hearing it, she let out a huge sigh of relief and she wrapped her arms around the boy standing beside her. "Thank you," she said as she rested her head on his shoulder.

The little boy was not little anymore. He has grown up so much over the years that he was like the older brother now who was looking after his younger sister. He was nearly 18 years now and he stood as tall as Chunji is or even more.

“Eomma” a soft voice called out to her, as she ran in Jin Kyong’s direction.

Jin Kyong sat upright immediately and looked in the direction. Her 6 year old daughter was standing in front of her, beaming brightly. She opened to tell something to her mother but before she could, a figure appeared behind her.

“Oh dear, there you are! Come here, my cutie pie.” The figure called out to the little angel, making her blush furiously in return which didn’t go unnoticed by her mother.

“Ah noona, you are here as well? Mianhe, I couldn’t keep her away. She just took off suddenly.” The mysterious figure stated as he bent down to get to the little one’s height.

“Ricky oppa,” the little one whined as she hid her face with her hand in embarrassment while Ricky chuckled in return and ruffled her hair, before removing her hands and pecking her cheek.

“Shall we go now?” he asked her, to which she nodded her head eagerly. The duo left after bidding goodbye to the little angel’s mother and uncle.

Once they both were out of their ear shot, Jin Kyong turned towards her brother and asked, “Did I just hear her call Ricky as oppa?”

He let out a chuckle in return and nodded his head. “That’s weird.” She uttered while he chuckled once again. She wanted to ask him more about it but her mind suddenly remembered the two helpl
