Jin Kyong’s POV:

Ever since the day Channie accused me of not being loyal to him, I hardly spoke to anyone and shut myself from the outside world.

‘How could he doubt the origin of this baby?’ was the only thought that ran through my mind.

I have made Ho Seok promise me that he wouldn’t tell Hansuke about what happened that day at Channie's house. If he hears about it, then I’m sure he will definitely kill Channie for sure.

Even though Channie had hurt me beyond words, I still couldn’t hate him really. I know I am a fool, right? I just couldn’t help it.

But I did do my best to stay away from him. Even when he tried to talk to me or meet me, I didn’t give him a chance. I just couldn’t let him see me. I look miserable even to my own eyes and I don’t want him to see me in such a condition especially when he was the reason for it.

I’m in my ninth month of pregnancy. The doctor said the baby and I are doing well. And that he might come out anytime from now. I could hardly walk anywhere these days as my legs get swollen easily.

The only comforting thing among all this pain is that Channie didn’t sign the divorce paper until now. At times I called to the maids when he would be at his office and enquired them about his well-being.

Most of the times, the two little ones spent their free time with me, either by watching a movie, listening to songs, reading some books/stories and at times they even massage my legs.

My baby brother, Hyun Su is now around 10 years and Sanghyun is around 17 years now. I guess he is close to 18. Even though Sanghyun isn’t related to me by blood or anything, the guy still cares for me as if we are and the same goes with me too.

Even now, we are all watching a movie as it was a weekend. I was lying down on the couch with my leg resting on Sanghyun as he was running his hands along my legs, softly massaging it.

“It’s okay Sanghyun-ah. Let it be.” I smiled at him.

“Aish noona! Look at your legs. After all I’m your dongsaeng. Can’t I massage your feet?” he flashed me a sweet, sparkling smile.

A few minutes would have passed when I let out a shriek as a sharp pain shot through me. The two little ones looked at me, taken aback. I shot them an assuring smile after which they continued watching the movie again.

The pain didn’t revisit until the rest of the movie got over and so I was relieved that I wasn’t going through the contraction.

However, the relief was short-lived as yet another pain short through me a few minutes later. I bit my lower lip this time to prevent myself from letting out a shriek. The pain was a little more severe than the last time.

“Noona, you are going into labor.” Hyun Su stated it as a matter-of-fact.

“Am I?” I was not sure but I was surely taken aback. How could that little guy know I’m going into labor when the pregnant ‘me’ couldn’t figure it out?

“Yes noona,” he stood up quickly. “I will be back with hyung.”

He ran out of the room, leaving the already scared Sanghyun with me. A little later, Ho Seok came rushing in, followed by Hyun Su.

“JK, shall we get going?” he came towards me and helped me get up from the couch and led me out of the room, while supporting my weight against his sides. The little guys grabbed the essential bags and we made our way towards the car.

Ho Seok helped me get inside the car slowly and rushed over to the driver’s side. Hyun Su sat in the back beside me while Sanghyun sat in the passenger seat. A few minutes’ drive later, we arrived in front of the hospital.

He quickly parked the car and everyone rushed out of the car, before helping me out as well. Sanghyun ran inside with high speed and returned with a wheelchair.

Ho Seok helped me take a seat and he wheeled me inside. The nurses rushed to our aid and guided us towards a room after finding out why I was brought in.

Meanwhile, the guys have already made a call to Dr. Jang and so she was on the way. They gave me a room and made me rest. The nurses asked me a few questions about how often I got the pain and how was the intensity and so on.

I was left to rest in the room and I was lying down quite comfortably as the pain was still not that frequent and the nurse said it would take me more time to go into labor.

Ho Seok dialed Hansuke and woke him up in the midnight just to let him know that I have been admitted to the hospital. He informed that he will be here first thing in the morning as he has to get permission from the high command.

Dr. Jang walked into the room a few minutes later, looking a little tired but all excited nonetheless. She did some checkups and informed us that judging from the position of the baby, he will not come out for a few more ho
