Unexpected Turn of Events
OrdealNo One’s POV:
Since the day Jin Kyong snapped at Chunji for forcing their son to speak like a normal person, things have changed on a better scale.
He understood how his son felt about him and how inconsiderate he was to his son. And he also understood the whole concept of Sun Ah being his daughter. Though he couldn’t believe that he got Jenny pregnant, he was still really off the world to have a daughter.
He believes that the biggest fear in his mind was kind of lifted off by her presence. He almost spent every day at Ho Seok’s place, not only to spend time with his kids but to woo his wife, Jin Kyong as well.
She willing let him hug her but that was all. Even a simple kiss on her cheeks, she would react like she was going to spew fire out of like a dragon does. But he never gave up.
He always grabbed the chance to kiss her. Let it be on her cheeks or her forehead, he never cared how she reacted. At times, when Jin Kyong was in a good mood, he would even peck her lips. Today was no exception either.
Chunji’s POV:
It was one weekend and we were all spending our time together in the huge garden behind Ho Seok’s house while waiting for my six best friends who are the closest thing I have to a family to show up.
Ho Seok and Hansuke were busy planning for a camp fire, barbeque and stuff. Sun Ah was sitting on my lap and Jin Kyong was sitting beside me while Hyun Su and Sanghyun were playing with Sang Ki.
Jin Kyong was really in a very good mood. So she was talking about various things that was happening around us, like how a butterfly flies across the garden, how she can hear the neighbor’s dog barking and wonder whether the dog was being treated well by the neighbor and so.
She looked so excited like a small child that she didn’t even notice that we were sitting too close to each other and my arms were around her shoulder.
I wonder what made her forget herself suddenly. She was talking so cheerfully and even though my ears were listening to her, my eyes were all on her lips that was just few inches away.
If I get in a little closer, our lips would touch and that was what I did a moment later. When she was so involved in her talk, I leaned in and pecked her lips.
Her eyes widened as an immediate reaction and slowly her cheeks and ears turned a shade deeper. I continued to stare into her orbs while she stared into mine.
About a minute later, she stepped out of her reverie and the first thing she did was punch me in the stomach.
“Ouch!” I groaned a little in pain as she did hit me hardly. “Yah! What was that for?” I asked her, regaining my breath.
“What’s with the kiss?” she raised her brows.
“What? Can’t I kiss my wife?”
She opened to come up with some retort but fortunately we got interrupted by the incoming of my best mates, especially Ricky.
“Noona,” he came running towards us, yelling out loud.
As soon as he reached us, he pulled her into a tight embrace and she returned it with a light chuckle while I smiled at their interaction lightly and no, I am not jealous.
Okay, I accept that I was a little jealous. But it’s not because I was worried they might have something going on behind my back. It’s just that he gets a hug from her while I have to steal it for myself.
Anyway, coming back to the point, I luckily escaped from getting punished for kissing her on her lips. Then we all sat and had good time together. A few of my friends were here with their girlfriends.
We made barbeque, played some games, played some music and danced to it, said some stories and so on. Since the weather was really pleasant, we all decided to sleep in the garden, stargazing.
We set up our tents together and brought our sleeping bags into the open around the campfire. But since the number of people are more than what we expected, the sleeping bags were in shortage.
I went out to the stores and tried getting some new sleeping bags but since it was the night time, most of the stores were closed. So I could just buy one sleeping bag while four more were needed.
I looked out for more but couldn’t find any. Even the guys didn’t have a spare in their house. I walk
