The next morning, you stopped by the Princely Café for your usual coffee.

Minwoo hopped up with a bright smile, “Good morning, noona!”

“Good morning…don’t you have school?” You assumed he was in high school.

“Yes but it doesn’t start till later. Should I get your usual?” He asked.

You nodded and paid him.

Minwoo went to make your drink. He returned with a red velvet cupcake. “This is on me, noona. You seem like you need chocolate to make your day special.” Minwoo smiled.

“Thank you.” You took the drink and cupcake.

Minwoo leaned his elbows on the counter and peered at your face.

You blinked at him, wondering what he was doing.

“It seems better than yesterday.” He pointed to his own cheek. It was like if he said the word, he would be offending you.

“Oh.” You self-consciously covered it. “Yeah. Um, thank you for the ice yesterday. And the hot chocolate.”

“You’re welcome, noona. If you ever need hot chocolate, stop by.” Minwoo graciously smiled.

You couldn’t help but smile along. “I’m going to go.”

“Okay, noona! Bye!” He waved.

You waved and left. You stopped and looked back into the shop. Minwoo was whistling as he cleaned up the counter. You looked at your cupcake and coffee and smiled. *Funny. I don’t usually smile unless Chunji is with me.*
