Two in the Box
“Ya! How many times do we have to repeat the same move?” Jaejoong was asking, already wet from his sweat. He would be grateful if they already went to train singing and not dancing, but because the main perfectionist Yunho was there, they had to be perfect.
The thing that was making Micky sigh in frustration, that this dance wasn’t going to be performed by them that night.
It was just Yunho’s new idea, and they had to try it.
“Max and Junsu are always putting their legs down too soon,” Yunho remarked pointing on both boys.
Soo-rin sighed and came to them with another recorded video. For an hour already she was playing their camera-woman, so they would see better, where they made some mistake.
Yunho’s idea was to do a handstand and from it to do a flip backwards. They already tried it several times, so they didn’t have to learn it. The thing was to do it synchronal, to start and end in the same time.
But because Junsu and Max kept ruining it, they have to try again, again and again. So it was more than exhausting move.
“Hyung, just stop this, so we could go sing, we have two acapella songs ahead, and we haven’t sang it for a long time,” Junsu pleaded and made an aegyo.
Leader shook his head and showed them one finger “Just one more time, please,” he made the sorry sorry move and pleaded again “ Full dance, ok?”
His band members sighed, when Yunho wanted something he had known how to ask for it, and surely get it. Other four members stood at their starting position and Soo-rin pushed the small button.
Soo-rin was always amazed by their dance. From the moment she start learning their dances, she knew that all of them must had been great at dancing. Maybe their main specialty, besides U-know, wasn’t dance, but they were more than good at it.
For example, SUJU’s dance routines weren’t so difficult. They had more members, so it was easier for the choreographs to modify the routine for them. Main move was always something easy, than there was the bridge, which was for the dancing machines-Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Hangeng and Shindong.
In the case of DBSK there wasn’t something like that. Routine was harder, and sometimes Yunho had his solo dance, but that was all. Every member of DBSK was great dancer, Soo-rin had to admit that.
She was recording their dance, but heard another song, coming from Jaejoong’s jacket.
“Jaejoong oppa, your phone is ringing,” she said and Jae walked from their circle.
He started groping for the phone in his jacket and quickly picked it up.
“Yeah?!” his voice was little weak because he was panting for air.
“Jae, I would need your help, I am going to send you a photo, go to the hospital and ask that guy,” Hyper’s voice echoed on another side, but Jae cut her.
“Wait, talk slowly, so I can understand properly,”
Hyper took a big breathe and started again “ First thing, take Soo-rin, she knows a lot, second thing, go ask that journalist that was in coma, if he was spying on the Moon family, because one of the photos in his camera is showing Daniel and his mother talking and he is giving her some envelope,”
Hero’s voice was back to normal already so he said “ I’ll try, by the way when is the thing going to start?”
His best friend sighed on another side “ I don’t know honestly, when you have to come, because now, I am the PD. So I have to manage it on my own, but I’ll call you, fine? And by the way, when you find something new about our thing from that guy, text me, so I would know,”
When Jaejoong returned his phone to his pocket he glanced at Soo-rin.
“We have to go, Hyper called that we should make a visit in hospital, she said that I should take you,”
“What I am going too,” Max raised his hand.
Yunho sighed “ You always find a way how to end my torture, in that case, all of us are coming with you,”
Five singers and Soo-rin disappeared to their changing rooms.
Hyper entered the hotel hall, only to find it in better shape that in the morning. It was starting to look like the hall prepared for a dinner party. Women started decorating the room with flowers, and lamps, but not the ones that look like a teen birthday party. But the ones from crystals providing just little light to the room, but very pretty.
Big windows were decorated with violet and vanilla curtains, people were already preparing the dancefloor.
“PD-nim,” voice called Hyper and she turned around, she wasn’t used to be called like this, she was always just the help, not the main.
Taller woman in her forties glanced at Hyper who was pretty stunned by the fact that elder is taking her as boss.
“You can call me Hyper, you don’t need to be formal with me, I should be formal with you,” small girl bowed and woman chuckled “ Thanks, I just wanted to ask you, how big the podium should be? How many steps high?”
Well, that needs some experiencing.
“We have to test it, but about the size, I would say that 7x10 would be ideal,”
Woman nodded and went to arrange it.
Because it was a hall in hotel, it didn’t have the proper podium, they had to install it. Ceremony hall was large, and Hyper had to count, what kind of space is needed when DBSK dances. And because as she read some entertainers from gag concert would come too, they needed space.
Suddenly someone patted her shoulder and Hyper turned again.
The cold chills occurred on her skin and her breath stopped. She was facing the man with provocative smile on and perfect clothing and everything.
Well almost everything is perfect. Besides that character.
Daniel Moon waved at her shoving his perfect porcelain white teeth and said “ Hi, De-Bin, you are already working?”
Hyper gulped and nodded, the frightening aura coming from this man was very unpleasant. It would be hundred times better if he was obviously evil, but his snake smile made her shiver again “ Yeah, I am because the other PD refused to come, so I have to manage it right now on his place,”
She tried to put her voice only to a professional frequency, to show that she is not at all interested in him.
“You must be nervous, don’t worry. We checked your work, you worked for running man, right? You are really good as I heard, so you could be calm, we believe you,” he touched her arm, sliding with his fingers on her skin. It wasn’t a provocative touch, but it wasn’t innocent one earthier.
Hyper was already freaking out. She hated the fact that he was checking her, it wasn’t a good thing.
“Why did you came, for your clothes?” PD asked trying to change the topic from her to the work again.
“See, you are so distracting to me, that I almost forgot, that’s right, I need to take them for me and my mother,”
Sighing in relief Hyper quickly paced for the bags with clothes and handed them to Daniel.
“See you,” he waved before finally disappearing.
Back to work now. Get a hold of yourself Hyper.
The dinner party was managed that way, that one hall will be used for the perfomers and for dancing, and another would be used as the real dinner-party. It meant the tables with names.
As a PD, she had to check if the other room had good sound distribution coming from the speakers installed in the walls, but also if it was sound-proofed, that way just those sounds that they wanted, would be heard in the other room.
It was almost eleven o’clock and she was with part of her brain thinking about Jaejoong and Soo-rin and how are they doing in the hospital.
Because Soo-rin already made visit to Han-jung he wasn’t very surprised by the fact that she came again. But the truth that with her to the room walked DBSK was indeed shocking for him.
On their way to the hospital Jaejoong told them the news Hyper said. Everybody was very curious about the photo.
“Good morning, “ Man calmly bowed to them reading a book.
“I don’t have time for this,” Xiah said and Micky nodded. In that time, they should be already prepared for their performance. Yunho should be on his way to the radio program and others had to train acting.
“In that case, just go to the point,” journalist remarked and Joong nodded.
“You have been spying Moon family, to be exact you have photos of Daniel Moon and his mother with envelope, why did you stay quiet, and what have you found?”
Man’s eyes were wider and wider and Soo-rin knew the truth, he wasn’t expecting that they would ever find this out.
“It’s no point, to mask it,” he sighed and Max agreed with him just with his stare.
“You know that my sister was the point why I started to blackmail Miss Soo-rin,” he started and guys nodded.
“But before he used it on me, I was already assigned to keep an eye on Moon family. I have got a tip, that something might be going on, that’s why I have their photos,”
“Do you have an idea what is in the envelope on the photo?”
Journalist thought a little “ I can’t tell you if it’s the exact thing. But from my perspective it looked as if the son was giving her papers with his full power over the Moon company. To gain the full power he needs his mother sign, she refused,”
Soo-rin opened “But she took it?”
“Yeah, she did, but I really don’t know why, because I couldn’t hear the rest of their conversation,”
“Have you talked to the police in Soo-rin’s case?” Jaejoong asked straightforwardly, when he already met the one who made the mess, he was thinking about little “persuasion”.
Journalist nodded and Jae smiled “In that case, we should go,”
Members quickly left and Soo-rin bowed before closing the door on his room.
Hi:D So it's the first of November...And you know what...the Christmas things are starting to appear in the shops...
Don't you mind that pancakes? I mean is it normal?
I don't think so.....but it's like that every november.....or not?
BTW....have you heard the absolute perfect song from KIM JAE JOONG? CALLED JUST ANOTHER GIRL.....???? I am so in love with his new music style....
Jaejoong...I love his voice and that feeling he gaves you when you watch him sing...it's like his whole soul is drawn in it......
But there is lot to be said, and I don't know when I will be able to finish it because I have my finals...sorryy,,,pancakes. and I sincerelly love you.
