Two in the Box
“We don’t have to answer any of your questions, everything was questioned by Beijing police, so I haven’t found the reason, why you should ask her again, when she already gave her statement,” Max said.
Soo-rin was surprised by his sudden calm and authoritative voice, she was very good in business matters, but about the terms of law, she was oblivious.
“But, she had to answer, so we can write protocol and sent it up to the headquarters where prosecutors will divide the cases between them,” officer opposed.
Max was firm, he knew really good, what would it mean if she was registered in the police as a suspect. Everything would be much more easier, if her grandfather wrote just that she can’t be disciplined, but he wrote that she can’t be in any term written as a suspect.
“But that doesn’t change the fact, that she already gave her statement,”
“Why do I feel that you don’t want to testify because you don’t remember what you said last time?” officer mocked her and Soo-rin’s breathing stopped for tiny moment. She remembered what she told that police officer in China, she knew that she lied, but her heart jumped.
What if they had found something new, that would deny her statement, some other evidence that would show that he had some king of handbag with him? What then?
“It’s only natural that my client would be startled after she had found someone unconscious on the floor, bleeding,” Man’s voice sternly said and two young people sitting in front of the table glanced at him with relief.
De-hyuk bowed and continued “ My name is Park De-hyuk and I am a lawyer of this young lady, if you have any questions or addition to this problem ask me,”
Officer bowed too, he was older than De-hyuk by two or three years, but he knew that one in the disadvantage is him. That aura De-hyuk emitted was so authoritative, calm and self-confident.
Max had to admit that Hyper also got this character point, when she wanted the same aura could occur around her. She was maybe more intimidating than him. He was more the polite-jerk.
“Hello, I am just asking her for personal information, so we can fill this papers out and then proceed with the investigation,” Man explained.
“You may do it, but I wish to see the exchange papers,” De-hyuk allowed them to do what they wanted but officer just glanced at him.
“What kind of papers?”
“My client was also interrogated in Beijing, we have to see the exchange papers saying that Korean police department will take after them this case, I need to see the exact charge, “
“But to get that papers we will have to communicate with Beijing and then write the propose papers, it will take more than four days in total,”
De-hyuk professionally bowed “ I am informed about that, I am counting with it,”
Police officer wasn’t able to get another word from his mouth and sternly looked at the younger man.
“So if you don’t mind, I will leave here my card, you can call me, mail me, when those papers will arrive, then I can say we will continue in this conversation,”
Uniformed guy took the card and nodded.
De-hyuk placed one hand on Soo-rin’s shoulder other one on Changmin’s and said “ Kids, come on,”
The three of them bowed to the officer and quickly moved outside.
“Have you seen DBSK hyung?” Max asked about s.
“I think I saw them sitting in cafeteria, right there,” De-hyuk said.
“Thank you, the two of you,” Soo-rin said and smiled at them. Max heart jumped to his throat and his voice came out strange “ That’s nothing,”
De-hyuk had urge to start laughing but suppressed it, he made note to himself to ask his sister where she had found such dorks.
“Where are you going Hyper?” one ajjumna asked, when after the lunch Hyper stood up.
She knew she was supposed to stay there, but she couldn’t just fake when she haven’t felt like it.
I have to find if Soo-rin is ok. Nor that I don’t believe in my brother. But time is money, I need to find if he arrived on time, so she is not registered in anything.
“I can continue in my work at home, and I need to run around and ask the people to come to the charity event, “ Hyper answered and ajjumna nodded.
“Ok, look after yourself dear, you are great help for us,” ajjumna said and De-bin agreed. Maybe the part of this all helping was just made up, she knew that it was also maybe the opportunity to help children.
When she walked from that old two-floored building she quickly found the same bus stop, and picked her phone.
No calls, that should be a good thing, right?
As her frozen mobile screen allowed she quickly dialled Jae’s number.
“Ye?” Joong’s laughing voice answered her call and she kind of…..well….lost it.
“YOU ARE LAUGHING AND I AM IN FEAR OF WHAT HAPPENED?” she screamed to the phone and people on the street turned their attention to the screaming girl.
“I am…well…so everything is ok, I am…”
“I will send you to HELL guys, like literally. You are making me just feel anxiety about nothing and you are not even able to give me a call and say: THAT EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!!!” she was on the edge of going and straddling every single one of them to death.
“Don’t be…” Micky’s voice said but she stopped him “ My brother is there?”
“Hi De-bin,” De-hyuk’s voice answered her question and that was like the last drop to her glass, that overflowed.
“Give the phone to Soo-rin,” she ordered. The anger, because they were so insensitive about her feelings made her lost her mind for few moments. Maybe she was overreacting but it was so selfish from them.
“Unnie, don’t be mad, please,” Soo-rin’s sad voice came from the other line. Hyper finally could be assured, that there wasn’t anything wrong with her.
Although her anger vanished little she couldn’t forget it so quickly.
No, this time, just feel that anxiety. You will see how bad is to not be sure.
Three people entered the cafeteria with big smiles on their faces.
“So it means, you are fine?” Junsu asked standing up.
“For now, she is ok. But I don’t know how long it can take, like maybe three or four days until we will face this building again,” De-hyuk said.
“ I am not being purposely negative, but the face that officer had when we left the police station was pretty angry, so I think, he will want to speed up that process,” Max pronounced and sat down.
“You were great oppa,” Soo-rin addressed to Max “ Thank you, if you wouldn’t come, I would be now registered and everything would be over,”
Jaejoong and Yunho proudly glanced at each other knowing that the decision to let Max go on his own was the best.
Micky punched Max’s chest because he saw his face. Mankae tried to figure out what he should say to Soo-rin. De-hyuk could sense it too and started smiling from ear to ear.
Maybe it was the time to slowly leave this group of young people as manners told, but he was too much like his sister to do it.
Changmin finally found the courage to say the thing that was making him sad and angry at himself all the time “ Soo-rin,” he started his voice slightly shaking but when five other man glanced encouragingly at him he continued “ I am so sorry about what I’ve said about you before. And the fact is that I haven’t spoken about you,”
Girl with wide eyes turned to him and silently waited for what he had to tell her.
“I was angry, with myself, with the truth that Hyper helped us so much and I haven’t given her anything back, about the fact that she helped me meeting you made me angry even more. I don’t know what to say. I couldn’t take the truth that she is always helping. And I was always so bad to her, it hurts my pride…I liked that dance too much, but I couldn’t and wouldn’t admit it to her, because it would mean that she won!” Max said.
De-hyuk and Jaejoong couldn’t hold any longer. Max’s problems with Hyper’s absolute self-sufficiency were so funny to them. They burst to loud laugh and everyone joined. Micky was holding his stomach and Junsu was laughing so hard that he accidentally turned over the glass with his coffee.
In this mess, Max’s eyes were just concerned about Soo-rin who lightly smiled and grabbed his hand.
“That’s ok oppa, we are fine,”
Maknae’s mouth formed to very strange smirk-smile and he looked like idiot.
His five hyungs started laughing hardly again, with all of their might, because of Junsu’s stained clothes and Maknae’s face.
Suddenly Jae’s phone rang and he picked it.
“Ye?”
“YOU ARE LAUGHING AND I AM IN FEAR OF WHAT HAPPENED!!!” Hyper’s angry voice echoed through the whole cafeteria although Jae didn’t put it on the speakerphone.
Jaejoong was shocked with her angry voice, he could just stutter “I am…well…so everything is ok, I am…”
“I will send you to HELL guys, like literally. You are making me just feel anxiety about nothing and you are not even able to give me a call and say: THAT EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!!!” Six people were surprised, with the fact that she was so angry, because she feared.
Micky suddenly took the phone “Don’t be…”
“ My brother is there?” Hyper’s voice stopped him and De-hyuk tried to look like he is not there.
“Hi De-bin,” he finally answered and tried not to laugh. He knew why she was so angry, and also knew that this state wouldn’t hold for long.
“Give the phone to Soo-rin,” she ordered.
They passed phone to the girl as she wished for and De-hyuk wanted to leave. When his sister was angry with someone she liked, it was another kind of anger.
He would laugh.
“Unnie, don’t be mad, please,” Soo-rin’s stated and stood up to leave the cafeteria and continue talking outside.
“Do we have problem, hyung?” Yunho asked and De-hyuk shrugged his shoulders.
“I don’t know, it depends how much she likes you,”

Saturday was pretty sunny in our corner of the world...so how was the weather in your corner?
Have nice Sunday and I wish the whole week will you spend the way you want,
Don't you sometimes wish that the day would be like 48 hours long...so you can just do whatever you want to...and still get enough ammount of sleep?
I wish for that sometimes really hardly...
Anyway...thanks for visiting and reading...tommorrow I am going to travel again to my dorm, so I hope that I can write there another chapter for update.::D
