That same day, Jihyun went to Luhan’s house. It was so quiet as if no one was there and she hesitated if she would knock onto the door of their house. Just when she was about to leave—for the thought that no one’s home—the main door of the house opened widely. That sudden opening of the door gave her chills but she stepped inside, nonetheless. “Hello? Is anyone here?” She yelled upon seeing the living room without any lights open. “Luhan oppa? Kai? Baekhyun oppa?”

But then, the door which opened all of a sudden, slammed shut.

*There’s definitely something wrong…* She thought, forgetting the fact that Luhan—if he’s there—can read anyone’s mind. She cautiously stepped back, and turned around to get to the door and leave but he beats her. “Are you scared?”

The voice was icy and she felt his heart—which is full of disappointment and hatred. When the fire-lamps were already lit up, she saw another form of Luhan: The demon. Was she too late? No…it can’t happen. The war can’t happen.

Luhan had his two demon horns visible on his forehead. The eyes that stare at her with loving eyes were no longer there. Instead, they were turned into icy blue empty eyes. Those empty eyes were looking straight to her now gray orbs. His black wings that can hurt anyone just by touching it are widely open.

“Tell me, are you scared?” He asked, raising his voice. She should be scared right now but instead of feeling scared, she was curious. What happened to Luhan that he turned out like this?

“You…traitor! You betrayed me!” He sobbed and Jihyun’s hand froze on his cheek. “I trusted you. I loved you but how can you do this to me?!”

She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. She definitely has no idea what he was talking about. What did she do for him to accuse her that she betrayed him? “She was my only family! She took care of me. She took care of you and your brother! How could you just stay with me when all along, it was you who killed her?!”

Jihyun’s hand lifelessly fell to the side in shock. “I—I killed who? Luhan, what are you saying?”

“My mother, you killed her!”

“I have evidence so don’t try to trick me as if you’re innocent.” He stopped sobbing but tears were still gushing out of his eyes. His voice was full of hatred just like how his heart is and she didn’t know what to do. Closing her eyes, she tried to focus on Luhan’s heart.
