Jihyun embraced Baekhyun with her wings, staining her dress in the process, as Baekhyun got closer to her. “Baekhyun-ssi, wake up!” She said but there was no response. She flew to a spare room carrying Baekhyun and lay him down on the mattress.

She took a seat on the edge of the bed and put her hand around Baekhyun’s bleeding arm. She had a lot of questions in her mind like how did Baekhyun know this place? How did he enter this secluded cabin? But she knew that can wait because right now, Baekhyun needs to be treated. And that’s what she’ll be doing.

She will heal Baekhyun’s arm and stop the bleeding.

It took her a lot of energy to heal Baekhyun. Because of his slashed arm, he lost a lot of blood. What’s harder was that she has to share the energy she had so that Baekhyun will regain his consciousness.

It didn’t matter to Jihyun if she had to share even the little energy left in her. What matters is that Baekhyun is now on the safer side.

Baekhyun squint his eyes. The sunlight was damn too bright for him and he groaned in displeasure. And then, he found something odd.

Baekhyun embraced her in his arms and Jihyun was surprised by his actions. “Jihyun, it’s really you.” He smiled. “Hey, are you okay?”

“Tell me I’m not dreaming.”

“You’re not.”

He pulled away and looked at her. “But…how come you’re in here?” Jihyun looked at her and scooted away, just to have enough distance between them. “First things first, Baekhyun. Are you feeling okay?”

“More than okay.” He smiled. “How about your arm?”

What about his arm? Baekhyun had forgotten that he had hurt his arm before and when he realized what she meant about his arm, he was amazed when he didn’t see any scar. She reached out her hand to caress his arm. “Don’t tell me you…healed me?”

“Did you know how long you were unconscious?” He shook his head. “Three days.” His eyes grew wide. He had never slept for three straight days like that. “I was afraid that I can’t heal you that was why you weren’t waking up. That’s why when you did right now, I felt relieved.”
