The door swing open and there stood Kris, panting really hard trying to catch his breath. He stretched out his hands and you ran towards his direction and hugged him, burying your head in his chest.

"I'm here. Everything is fine now." he said while your hair and hugging you tightly with his other.

"It's alright, just let it all out," he continued while you cried your heart out in his embrace. 

You felt really safe in his arms. You could hear his heartbeat through his chest. It was really fast since he ran around around for you frantically. 

It took some time before you calmed down, you pulled yourself away from his hug and wiped away your tears. Kris placed his hand on your cheeks and carassed your tears stained cheeks. "Feelling better?" he asked. You nodded in response and lifted your head to look at him, "Thanks Yifan ge.. for being here when I needed someone.."you said, still sobbing in between words.

"Silly girl, I will always be here for you," he messed up your hair. "Plus, you owe me a new shirt." he continued while showing your the spot where you rested on. There was a small wet spot where your tears landed on. You broke into a smile when you heard that. He sat down with you at the stairs and you told him everything that happened. Kris listened and gave you advice and comforted you. You felt much better after telling someone the things that you have been keeping to yourself. You didn't want to cry infront of your members because you thought as their leader, you should be strong and let them depend on you when they felt demoralised and needed someone to talk to.

You guys have been sitting there for the past hour. Kris has rejected numerous calls from s who were looking for him and you have had missed calls from your manager and members as well. Kris' phone rang again and it was Luhan calling. "I think you should pick it up. I'm gonna call my members as well," you said and he picked up his call while you went to another corner to call your members, reassuring them that you are safe and you would be back soon.

"Are you okay to go? I asked Luhan to get our manager to send you back to your dorm as well," he said

"But won't it be inconvenient? I can always walk back.. Plus I need some time to cool myself down."

"It's fine. Besides, you're not in the state to go back alone. Let's go?" he asked as he opened the door leading back to lobby. You nodded and walked out to the lobby and took the lift down to the ground floor where the rest of Exo are.

"Hyung we've been looking around for you! Where have you been?" questioned Chanyeol.

"Sorry guys," he said as he walked to them while you followed closely. "Are we good to go? Hyung, it's okay to send Enjing back right?" His manager nodded and you boarded the car along with half of Exo. There wasn't much space left so you sat down next to Luhan and Kris sat behind you with Chanyeol. 

"Everything alright?" Luhan asked. 

"Yeah feeling better," you replied and gave him a smile. Luhan was like the older brother who always looked out for you. You guys were close as well but both your relationship maintained like sibilings. He was the other person that you went to when you needed help besides Kris. He was less intimidating compared to Kris in the beginning when you first got to know them so you were closer to Luhan before you got to know more about Kris. 

"That's good to hear. Gege is always here for you, you know that right?" 

"Of course! You're the best gege I have!"

The ride back was rather quiet since some of the Exo members fell asleep in the car. You were talking to Luhan all the way until you reached your dorm. 

"Looks like we're here. Bye then. Take care xiao mei (little sister)," Luhan said. You stood up and turned behind to look at Kris who fell asleep on the way to your dorm. You examined his sleeping face and smiled to yourself. 'He looks so peaceful sleeping" you thought to yourself. "Bye gege, rest well!" you said. You thanked their manager and went upstairs to your dorm. 

You showered and went back to your room quietly not to wake up any of your members. You took out your phone and texted Kris before you slept.

The boys reached their dorm shortly after and they took turns to wash up since there were 12 of them and only two bathrooms. Kris sat down on the couch and took out his phone to check for messages.

Yifan ge, thank you for listening to me rant. Haha. Can't believe you saw how hideous I look! Please erase it from your memory. But really, thank you for always being there for me. Rest well! You must be really tired since you fell asleep in the car and you looked kinder while sleeping! Hahaha! Sweet dreams~^^

'This girl...' he thought and a smile formed unknowingly. 'Looks like she's feeling better since she can joke around now.' 

"Why are you smiling at your phone hyung?" Chanyeol said while sitting down beside him. "Must be Enjing right?"

"Don't be such a busy body," Kris said while he smacked the younger's thigh.

"I already know the answer even if you don't tell me," he said rubbing the spot Kris smacked. "It's written all over your face."

"Whatever." Kris rolled his eyes.

"Why do you like her?" the younger one asked tilting his head looking at Kris.

Kris was shocked by the unexpected question. His face turned slightly red and rubbed his neck, "She's just... special. I don't know how to say this but I just feel like protecting her and be there for her when she needs me."

"Oh..." Chanyeol nodded, rather satisfied with the answer he got. 

"Anyway, I'm going to shower. Only you and Luhan know about this so don't tell anyone else... yet," Kris said and walked off.

GEMS had a full day of rehearsal the following day at the showcase venue to familiarise yourselves with the positioning. You guys were shocked when you see Exo walk in. Your manager decide to ask them over to watch you guys since they didn't have any schedule for that day.

"Okay guys, let's take 20 before we do a full run through." your manager said.

You guys headed back stage and changed into your clothes for the the showcase. You all went out after that to chat with the Exo boys. 

"This feels like when we were preparing for our showcase last year. So exciting!" Tao commented. 

You walked out from the changing room and  see Kris and Luhan waiting for you outside and you walked over. "What are you guys doing here?" you asked.

"Just checking on my xiao mei to see if she's alright," Luhan said putting his hand on your shoulder. 

"Of course I'm alright, I'm gonna go get the girls to standby now." you said.

"Break a leg! Not literally of course," Kris added, earning a smack on his arm from you while you walk pass him.

---

"GEMS please get to your positions!" the showcase producer called out.

"Alright girls treat this as the actual performance yeah? Let's do this!" you cheered the girls on.

You could feel the lights getting dim and the intro music started playing. You were all trying to calm yourselfs down and the next thing you know, the platform you guys were on started to rise. The platform came to a stop and you could clearly see the Exo boys in the audience and hear them cheering. Your song started playing and you guys performed to it followed by all the other items planned for your showcase.

It finally ended and you said the thank you speech that you prepared before hand and the Exo boys cheered loudly. The stage lights went off and the four of you returned back stage for evaluation and change back to your casual clothings.

Exo joined in the evaluation and gave you guys feedback on the things you all can improve. Everyone was satisfied with your performance today and the day ended on a high note. One of the managers announced that they reserved a place for everyone to have dinner, including Exo. You guys were delighted at the news and set off to the place.

You all arrived at a Korean BBQ restaurant. Your managers booked two private room for everyone to dine in since they did not want any fans around. Your managers alighted from the car first, making sure everything was in place before signalling you all to alight. Exo alighted first followed by GEMS. You had to move quickly because there were already people starting to recognise you and had to go in before the fans crowd around. 

Dinner was really enjoyable cause the food and company was awesome. Even the managers were enjoying themselves from the dinner. You all were laughing like crazy cause you all were playing the peppro game with the cucumber sticks that they gave with the food. It was fun to see Exo playing with each other and being awkward when they got closer, they even got the managers to play which made everyone laugh even more. "Let's have a guy girl couple try!" someone suggested.

"Kris hyung, why don't you try it with Enjing?" Chanyeol suggested, earning death glares from you and Kris. You both refused by the other members kept asking you guys to. "Come on you guys are so close it won't be as awkward." Chanyeol added.

"Isn't going to be more awkward since we're so close?" You replied but Chanyeol and the rest didn't seem to change their mind. After much persuasion, you both agree. '

"You are so dead when we get back," he whispered to Chanyeol while moving to the middle of the room. 

You and Kris sat facing each other trying to avoid each other's eyes cause it was really awkward. You took a deep breathe and placed one end of the cucumber stick into your mouth. Kris slowly leaned in and bit the other end, slowly inching to your face. You kept your eyes closed to avoid any eye contact with him. You could feel your heart beating faster and your whole body burning up. As Kris slowly goes nearer to you, the other members watching were cheering loudly. You can feel Kris coming closer, you could feel his breath on your cheeks. You opened your eyes and you locked eyes with Kris who was just a few centremeters away from your face, staring straight into your eyes as well. He took another bite of the cucumber stick and broke it off as the others continued cheering. You make an awkard laugh and placed your hands over your cheeks and faned yourself with another. "Why is it getting so hot here," you said.

"I'm sorry. Can't help it since I'm hot," Kris said, trying to clear the awkwardness. You whacked him on his arm and the other members laughed at his replied. He gave you a cheeky smile and you stuck your tongue out at him. You all continued chatting and eating for a while more before you all decide to head back to SM. Your managers went out to drive the cars outside before asking yall to leave. 

"Okay guys stick close to each other. There are loads of fans outside just hop on to any car since we're all going back to SM." one of the managers said. He opened the door and everyone started going out with him leading the way. You could hear the screams of the fans once you walk out of the restaurant. There was a distance from the restaurant to the cars so you had to make your way pass the fans to get on the car. Since the first car was full, you had to make your way to the second one which was parked behind.

"KRIS OPPA~!!" "LUHAN OPPA~!!" "CHANYEOL OPPA~!!" All you could hear are the screams of the fans around you. "ENJING UNNIE~!!" You were shocked when you heard someone shouting your name. You were following closely behind Kris and Chanyeol who were walking in front of you. The fans pushed even more when you all were trying to board the car. You missed the step infront of you and fell to the ground. Before you could react, you felt two people pulling you up from the ground and helped you into the car. Luhan, who was walking behind you helped you up along with one of the managers who was trying to clear the way for you all. The car left shortly after everyone was on board.

"You okay?" Luhan asked and sat next to you.

"Yeah i'm fine, just a fall" you replied, brushing off the dirt from your leg.

"No you are not," you heard Kris saying from the seat infront. He turned around and pointed to your arm, "you're bleeding."

Oh man...seems like my story is getting boring. /: Sorry guys, I'll try my best to put more interesting elements in. Thanks for taking time to read! ^^
