Bang Yong Guk
I Just Want to Love You
Bang Yong Guk looked at the woman standing before his eyes.
“It’s really her!” he thought.
Since he left her in France, she was everything he could think about every day and night. He had wanted to call her many times but he always gave up after picking up the receiver and dialing the first number.
He knew he was at fault for leaving her behind but he had his difficulties too. He knew he should have told her about it. After all she was his wife; but he really could not bear to let her share his burdens. She was seven months pregnant at that time and any additional stress on her was not good to the mother and child.
Yong Guk looked at the lady in front of him once again and he was mesmerized.
“How I wish I can hold you in my arms right now but I know it is not the time now,” Yong Guk thought to himself.
“Miss Park, are you alright?” Yong Guk pasted a smile on his handsome face and asked Yoon-eun.
Yoon-eun was still in a daze. She did not know whether the man standing before her now was her husband. She did not know if she was dreaming. There were just so many things that she did not know about.
When Yoon-eun did not answer Yong Guk after a couple of minutes, Yoojin went closer to Yoon-eun and gave her a little push, “Boss, are you alright? Mr. Bang is talking to you.”
Yoon-eun woke up from her little wonderland at Yoojin’s push. She forced a smile on her face and extended her hand to Yong Guk, “I’m sorry Mr. Bang. It’s just that you resemble a friend of mine. I’m Park Yoon-eun, the newly appointed Communications Manager. It’s nice meeting you.”
Yong Guk shook her hand and said, “It’s nice meeting you too. I heard that you have been with the company since it started its operation here two years back.”
“Yes. But I was just starting out as an executive at that time.”
“Well, so I guess you will be able to feed me with some information of the company’s promotion strategies and its relation with the media then?”
“Certainly,” Yoon-eun said, deepening her smile.
“Very good, maybe you can arrange the information and we can meet next week to look through it? I would want to know more of all those before I start out,” Yong Guk said. Actually when he saw Yoon-eun’s smile his heart skipped a beat. After so long, her smile was still the only thing that could make his heart beat faster.
Before he came over to Seoul to take over the company as Chairman, Yong Guk had already read all the necessary information regarding it. He was just using that as an excuse; he could not wait to get back into Yoon-eun’s life and also for her to enter his. He really wanted to know how she had been and how she got through the six years without him by her side.
“I guess I’ll leave you and your staff now. I still have some rounds to make. I’ll get Youngjae or Daehyun to arrange the meeting with you and hope to see you again next week,” Yong Guk gave Yoon-eun a wide smile and after getting Yoon-eun’s acknowledgement on the meeting he left with Youngjae.

Yoon-eun watched as Yong Guk and Youngjae left, but she could not get her eyes off Yong Guk. Even until he disappeared around the corner she still had her eyes on him.
Yoojin observed her boss’ actions in silence.
“She had been acting weird since she saw the Chairman. Haha…. She must be attracted to him. I knew he would be her type,” Yoojin thought as she continued watching Yoon-eun.
“Boss, I think he had already left. You can keep your stares and drool,” Yoojin stood beside Yoon-eun and mocked at her.
Yoon-eun woke up from her own dreamland again and stared at Yoojin, “Who said I was staring at him? And I certainly don’t think I was drooling just now.”
Yoon-eun walked back to her seat and Yoojin followed. She had been working with Yoon-eun since she joined the company and throughout the years their relationship had grew from being colleagues to friends. Hence it was not difficult for Yoojin to know what was going on in Yoon-eun’s mind. However, she did not know that it was different this time.
“Admit it. It was written all over your face. You didn’t realize he was talking to you just now,” Yoojin said as she sat in the chair that she occupied earlier.
Yoon-eun sighed and leaned back on the chair, “I already explained it’s because he looked like a friend of mine.”
“Oh really? Mind telling me who it is?” Yoojin continued as she thought that Yoon-eun was just fooling around with her.
“I’ll tell you when I have the time. We have more important things to do now. You heard the new Chairman, he wants us to arrange the information about the company’s relations with the media and…”
Before Yoon-eun could finish Yoojin had already gotten out of the seat and was making her way out of the room.
“Yes yes, I heard him. I’ll get the rest to work on that immediately,” Yoojin said and quickly made her escape. After working with Yoon-eun for the past two years, she knew how serious she gets when it comes to work.
After Yoojin left and closed the door of her room, Yoon-eun was back into her own world again.
“Was all that just my hallucination? It can’t be him. However they really look alike and the name’s totally similar. How can he be the Chairman of the Bang Corp.? Maybe it’s just a coincidence. But is it too much of a coincidence?”

Yong Guk heaved a sigh of relief after he stepped into lift.
“Mr. Bang, are you alright?” Youngjae asked as he heard his sigh.
Yong Guk looked at the younger man standing next to him and said, “Youngjae, how many times have I told you not to address me so formally?”
Youngjae chuckled, “Sorry. It’s just that we are in the office so I thought it will be better to keep things formal.”
Yong Guk leaned back and laughed, “It’s alright. I just feel weird hearing you call me so formally. Little cousin.”
Youngjae laughed out loud and looked at his cousin. “I think you looked different when you met the Communications Manager. The look in your eyes is just so different. Are you having feelings for her? Don’t forget Uncle’s words.”
Yong Guk looked away from his cousin’s gaze and replied, “I know.”
However in his mind, there were many thoughts running in it. He could not disobey his father’s words but neither could he let go of Yoon-eun too. Losing her the first time was already too much for him and he did not want to go through it again.
