The Visit
I Just Want to Love YouYong Guk was still trying to catch his breath when he pressed the doorbell on Yoon-eun’s door and waited for her to open it.
After Yong Guk got Yoon-eun’s address from Daehyun, he immediately shot out of the office and instructed Daehyun to cancel all his appointments for the afternoon. He drove at a speed of 110km/h and reached Yoon-eun’s apartment in record time. He couldn’t wait for the lift hence he dashed up the stairs and was now outside her door.
Seconds later, he heard footsteps getting closer and soon the door opened. Yong Guk didn’t expect to see what was in front of him.
He had expected to see Yoon-eun but instead a small little boy opened the door and was smiling at him.

When the doorbell rang, Yoon-eun was in the kitchen preparing lunch for Jae Hwan and herself. She shouted for Jae Hwan to get the door for her.
Jae Hwan happily skipped to the door and opened it. After getting a closer look at the man standing before him, Jae Hwan jumped up and down and started screaming.
“Daddy! Daddy! Mummy, Daddy’s back!”

When Yong Guk saw little Jae Hwan’s actions, he couldn’t help smiling.
“So this is our child,” Yong Guk thought. He loved the smile on the little boy's face and of course his eyes.
Just as Yong Guk was still in his thoughts, he heard the sound of pots crashing in the house. He stretched his head a bit further into the house trying to see what had happened.
When Jae Hwan heard the crashing of the pots, he immediately ran away from the door and went inside the house.
Upon seeing this, Yong Guk took the opportunity to enter and followed Jae Hwan.
Jae Hwan ran to the kitchen where Yoon-eun was.
“Mummy, are you alright?” he asked and tugged at the sleeves of Yoon-eun who was squatting on the floor to pick up the pots which she had dropped when she heard Jae Hwan's words.
Yoon-eun looked at her son and smiled, “Of course, I'm alright. Who's that at the door?” She asked, pretending not to have heard what Jae Hwan had said.
Jae Hwan smiled and said, “It's Daddy. Mummy, Daddy's back!”
Yoon-eun's smile froze. “Is Yong Guk really back?” she thought.
Yoon-eun ruffled Jae Hwan's hair and laughed lightly, “Haha, sweetie, Mummy had already said that Daddy had gone to a faraway place to work and won't be returning soon.”
Everytime Jae Hwan asked about his dad, Yoon-eun would lie to him that he had gone overseas to work but she knew that she can't hide it from him forever. She was just trying to buy time, she don't know how to break the news to Jae Hwan that his daddy didn't want him. Suddenly Yoon-eun realized that somebody was standing at the entrance of her kitchen. She looked up and saw Yong Guk leaning on the wall and crossing his arms across his chest.
“Mr. ... Mr. Bang, what a surprise?” Yoon-eun said after clearing . She didn’t expect to see Yong Guk appearing at her door much less in her kitchen.
Yong Guk smiled at Yoon-eun and walked towards her. He picked up the pots on the floor and placed them on the kitchen table.
“I heard you that you took the day off so I decided to come and see how you are,” Yong Guk replied with ease. “Is this your son? He’s cute,” he continued and ruffled Jae Hwan’s hair.
Jae Hwan smiled at Yong Guk and hugged his waist, “Daddy, Mummy doesn’t believe that you are back. Are you going to stay with us?”
Before Yong Guk could reply, Yoon-eun immediately pulled Jae Hwan away from him and said, “Jae Hwan, he’s not Daddy. He is Mummy’s boss.”
“Boss? But he is Daddy. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy….,” Jae Hwan continued chanting.
Yoon-eun closed her eyes and counted to ten in her heart, she was starting to get angry at Jae Hwan’s nonsense but she didn't want to scare him.
After some time Yoon-eun opened her eyes and carried Jae Hwan in her arms, “Sweetie, why don’t you go inside your room first?”
Jae Hwan looked at Yoon-eun with a puzzled look in his eyes but he dare not question because he knew that Yoon-eun was getting angry by feeling the grip Yoon-eun had on him.
Jae Hwan nodded his head and immediately ran into his room as soon as Yoon-eun sat him down on the ground.
After Jae Hwan had left, Yoon-eun turned to Yong Guk.
“Thank you so much for coming. I’m fine. It’s just that my friend who was supposed to help me look after Jae Hwan is sick so I took the day off to care for him.”
“His name is Jae Hwan? That’s a nice name,” Yong Guk smiled and said. “She really used the name we had agreed on!” Yong Guk was screaming to himself.
Just seeing the kid was already making Yong Guk excited, now he knew that Yoon-eun had used the name that they had agreed on for the child made him even happier. He wanted to go give her a big hug and say all his sweet nothings to her but he knew it would scare her so he held on to himself.
“Yeah. That….” Yoon-eun stopped herself. She didn't want to think about Yong Guk. Not now at least, not in front of her boss who looked so much like her husband.
“That?” Yong Guk questioned. He could sense that Yoon-eun was going to tell him something but she didn’t continue.
Yoon-eun shook her head and smiled at Yong Guk, “Nothing. You have been here for sometime and I haven’t got a drink for you.” With that, she went to the refrigerator and poured a glass of the lemon and kiwi juice which she had just made.
Yong Guk took it and drank half the glass immediately. When Yoon-eun saw that, she laughed.
“Something’s wrong?” Yong Guk asked when he saw Yoon-eun laughed.
Yoon-eun shook her head, “Nah,” But she continued laughing.
“Is there something on my face?” Yong Guk asked again while using his fingers to touch his face.
Yoon-eun tried to control herself. “Nope. It’s just that you remind me of someone when you drank that.” Yoon-eun said while pointing to the glass in Yong Guk’s hand.
Yong Guk looked at the glass in his hand and smiled, “I love the sweet and sour feeling of the drink. It’s just like falling in love.”
Once again the smile on Yoon-eun’s face froze, “It’s exactly what Yong Guk said when I made the drink. Why are they so similar? First, the name and the looks. Now the taste, God, what should I do?”
