POV: NO ONE

ONE MONTH LATER

2PM's comeback was just around the corner. Like JYP had promised, their scheduled comeback date was set a week earlier. Now with just a few more days ahead of them, everyone was working harder than ever. Everything had to be perfect. That meant even more strict diets, excersizing, less sleep, more practice. But no one was complaining. After being on haitus for over two years, the boys were excited to show their fans a different side to them. Not only that, but this would be Da Yoon's first performance before debuting. It meant a lot to the both of them. She and JYP have also been in talks about her debuting pretty soon. This performance was just a test before the actual thing. She had to give a great first impression in order for everyone to anticipate for her new debut. Soon after 2PM's promotions, JYP will announce her debut. 

"Alright, that's good for tonight everyone. Go home and get some rest. We will be meeting at 7 tomorrow morning." Everyone groaned at the fact of waking up early. It was a nightmare to them. 

"Oppa, are you excited for your comeback?" Da Yoon asked eager to hear an answer. 

"Yeah, it's going to be great! Totally worth all the sweat and tears." Chansung answers. 

"Tears?" Da Yoon asks worriedly. 

I'm kidding...........for the most part." Chansung mumbled the last part hoping Da Yoon wouldn't hear it. 

"Well, if you every need to cry, here is a shoulder!" She said pointing at her shoulders smiling brightly. 

"You know....... I do feel like crying right now...... unless you let me buy you some ice cream..." Chansung smirks at Da Yoon, catching her off guard. 

Da Yoon shakes her head.

"Oppa!  We're both on a strict diet. We can't. Especially me! I still can't believe I'm actually losing all this weight." She says as she pats her stomach with pride. 

"It's true. Da Yoon has been working extra hard with her weight. She's been going to the gym everyday and she's been eating healthier. Even her face was starting to clear up from all the acne she used to have. She couldn't possibly give in to ice cream. At least not now. 

"Okay, then how about tea? Green tea!" Chansung bargained. 

"Tea sounds good!" The both got up saying their goodbyes while telling their manager where they were going.

CAFE

"So how is everything coming along?" Chansung asked Da Yoon before taking a sip of his warn brewed tea. 

"Everything is good. Practice is getting a bit more intense...." Da Yoon replies, but doesn't say everything that's been on her mind. 

"How about the other thing?" Chansung asks cautiously. 

"Oh, Yeah. That." Da Yoon takes a sip of her tea wanting the subject to change. 

"Have you been recovering well?" He asks hoping to get an honest answer. 

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me oppa. I'm stronger than you think." She showed her best smile.

Nichkhun had also walked in to buy some tea when he had spotted Chansung and Da Yoon. As he was headed to their table, he had spotted the man he and Taecyeon ran into at the hotel. He was sitting alone, getting work done. Nichkhun had decided to have a little talk with the ahjusshi before catching up with Da Yoon and Chansung. 

"Anneyonghasaeyo!" Nichkhun bows politely. 

"Oh? Oh! Nichkhun! Anneyong!" The man stands up and bows. 

"Anja." The man signals Nichkhun to have a seat across from him. 

"What bings you here late at night?" The man asks. 

"Oh, I just got out of practice." Nichkhun replies. 

Does he not know who I am?

"Practice? What are you practicing for?" The man put down his pen that he'd been using and gave Nichkhun his undivided attention.

"I'm an idol. I'm in the group 2PM. Do you really not know who we are?" Nichkhun asked. He was a bit taken aback at the fact that the man really did not know who they were. 

"I've heard of you. I think it would be harder avoiding you even if I tried." He chuckles showing his bright teeeth. 

"Ahh....Deh." Nichkhun was thankful for the man's compliment. 

"You know, my son is also in a group. He is a great dancer, but...... sometimes I wonder if it's really for him. He should be in the business wih me. Do you understand Nichkhun-ah?" He asked looking into the younger ones eyes, expecting to agre with him. 

"Ahh... Deh. But ahjushi, don't you think you're going a bit far making him quit? I mean, he's come all this way. It would be a shame---------" Nichkhun got surprised when he was cut off. 

"Nichkhun-ah. May I say something? But I don't want to offend you or any other idol in any way possible." The man for permission to speak. 

"Yes, of course. There's no need to ask.: Nichkhun waited for the man to begin speaking again.

"I don't like my son prancing around stage. I don't like him dancing ually with girls for the whole world to see. And I definitely don't like my son wearing a bunch of makeup on his face. All these things are what girls are supposed to be doing. Not men. It's an utter embarrassment." The ahjusshi's voice was deeply serious. Nichkhun furrowed his eyeborows. It was as if the man was purposefully offending them, though he said he wouldn't mean to. 

"I'm sorry you got that idea. But we're not all like that, sir." Nichkhun tried to open up the man's heart. 

"Really? Then name one group." The man sat back in his chair crossing his arms, ready to be challenged. 

"Us." Nichkhun answers back confidently. 

"You? Do you really expect me to believe that?" The ahjusshi scoffs at Nichkhuns foolish answer. 

"Why not? What's wrong with us?" Nichkhun asked.

"Jokwon." The man fires back. 

"What's wrong with Jokwon?" Nichkhun was starting to get itrritated. He had a right to. Jokwon was his brother. 

"You think I don't know about his kkap dance and the fact that 2AM dances around in skirts and dresses to girl group songs?" The ahjusshi says not caring about hurting the 2AM idol. 

Nichkhun was just speechless. He could believe the man's harsh use of words. Before he had the chance to say something, the man began to speak again. 

"It was nice talking to you Nichkhun." The man starts to get up and walk away. 

"Which group?" Nichkhun stays seated without even looking at the man. 

"What?" The ahjusshi stops and turns. 

"Your son.........Which group is he in?" Nichkhun stands up and walks in front of the man. His hands were in his pockets as he was standing up confidently looking into his eyes. 

"I'm sorry, but I can't speak of my son's life. You of all people should know that. Oh, by the way, calling me ahjusshi makes me feel old. Call me Mr. Jang." The man walks away smirking. 

Nichkhun just stood there without looking back. Astonished, he took a deep beath to calm himself down from the conversation he just had. Never in his life has he met a man as ignorant and rude as him.

At this point, Da Yoon and Chansung saw the whole thing. They walked up to Nichkhun.

"Hyung, do you know that ahjusshi?" Chansung asked with his arm around his hyung's shoulder.

"Ani. Don't worry about it." Nichkhun answered not bothering to hide the angry expression on his face.

Back at the dorm, Nichkhun couldn't help but think about the incident in the cafe.

Is it Jang Geun Suk? No. He's a solo artist........Jang.............Jang....... 

NEXT DAY

"Okay guys, listen up." Taemin got everyone's attention at the dance room. 

"You comeback is scheduled for tomorrow." Cheers all around the room can be heard only to be shut by Taemin.

"YA! I'M NOT FINISHED!" The room got quiet once again. 

"AS I WAS SAYING,....this will not only be your first performace back, but it will also be Da Yoon's official performace. Take good care of her. Help her out in every way possible! She's very lucky to have you guys by her side. Now...........you can cheer!" Taemin chuckled with his arms resting on his hips. 

POV: DA YOON

My heart started to beat uncontrollably. This would be my first performance with the real thing. With 2PM! Never have I imagined the day I would finally be soon to debut, let alone perform with 2PM! But here I am!

"Yah.....are you okay there?" Wooyoung playfully asked.

"Oh? A-Ani...." I couldn't lie. 

"You're scared aren't you?" Wooyoung lowered his head to see my face a bit more. 

"I would be lying to say no." I couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.

"Don't worry. We'll be there with you the whole time. You can lean on his." He gave me a small hug to which I gave back. 

"Gomawo, oppa." Wooyoung managed to make me feel a bit better. No matter how many stupid things he says, he's a sweet guy.

"Come on. Let's go home and get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." He stood up and offered his hand to help me up. I glady took it and we walked back home.
