Minjae heard about what happened from Chansung. He'd promised to keep it a secret. Although it was still a bit awkward with Da Yoon, Minjae worked up the courage to buy a few things before visiting her at the hospital. As he walked in, he saw Chansung holding Da Yoon's hand as they were sound asleep. He didn't want to wake them up, so he just sat on the couch. As he waited, his phone suddenly rang. He immediately walked outside to take the call. 

"Yeobosaeyo?" He spoke first. 

"Has everything been taken care of?" The voice on the other line asked. 

""No.......It's hasn't been solved yet." Minjae sighs. 

"DAMN IT MINJAE. I GIVE YOU ONE IN TASK! HOW HARD CAN THIS BE?!" The voice is clearly angry hearing Minjae's answer. 

"I-I-I'm s-sorry." His voice trembled hearing the man on the other side get angry. He was terrified of him. 

"Put an end to this...." The man tries to calm down. 

"Yes sir..." Minjae answers. 

"NOW!!" The voice yells once again. And just like that, he hangs up. 

All Minjae could do was sigh. After taking the time to get his emotions together, he went back inside. He saw both Da Yoon and Chansung still asleep holding hands. He couldn't help but smile. 

I don't think Chansung is ever going to find out what happened to Da Yoon. I think it's best that things stay that way. 

FEW HOURS LATER

Both you and Chansung were finally awake. By that time, it was already 8:30pm. Minjae was still there. He was happy to see that you were recovering well...physically. He didn't know how you were feeling emotionally and mentally, but he thought it was best not to ask and ruin the mood. 

"Well good morning sunshine." Minjae chuckles. 

"Minjae ssi, how did you know I was here?" You asked shocked and embarrassed.

"Don't worry, Da Yoon. No one knows but me and hyung. Were going to do whatever it takes to protect you." Chansung said. You stared into his eyes not because they were beautiful. I mean, they obviously were, but there was another reason. You wanted to see if he was telling the truth. Will the really protect you? Can you trust him?

"I don't need any of your protection. I told you I can han----" You couldn't finish before Chansung interrupted. "

"Handle yourself? Aish. Handle yourself?! Do you know where it's gotten you all the while you were "handing youself"? Damn it, Da Yoon. Can you just listen to us?" Chansung started to get angry again. You didn't want him to be so mad since this was all your fault. If you protected yourself better, none of this would have happened. You nodded in agreement to listening to both Chansung and Minjae.

"Okay.....I will trust you....." You finally say.

"Don't worry Da Yoon. We'll take good care of you. Promise." Minjae says reassuringly.

"Thank you......both of you. I'm so sorry to cause so much trouble in your lives." You say holding back your tears. They both smiled in response.

JYP

POV: NICHKHUN

Da Yoon has been on my mind a lot lately. I can't really tell if she still has a grudge about what happened because we haven't seen each other due to our schedules and not living together anymore. But I have noticed that she's been hanging out with Chansung a lot. Is there something going on between them? 

While getting lost in my thoughts, Taecyeon comes by. 

"Hey, have you spoken to Da Yoon lately?" He asks. 

"No, why?" I answer as if I don't seem worried. 

"Well, I've been calling her since last night, but she hasn't been picking up." He says. 

Why do you need to call her?

"Maybe, she's just busy. She's been working really hard lately." I answer coldly.

"Oh." I'm guessing he could feel my reaction. 

"I'm just worried that's all." He continues. His expression looks a bit hurt. I didn't mean to answer that way, I swear. I don't know what got into me. 

"We can see her tonight if you want." I say.

"Yeah, sure." He says shortly. 

There was a moment of an awkward silence between us until he finally broke it. 

Thank God. 

"Hyung." Taec starts off. 

"Yeah? What's up?" I ask. 

"What do you think about Da Yoon?" He was a bit hesitant to ask. 

Boy, do I MISS that awkward silence. 

"What do you mean?" I do my best to sound as normal as possible.

"I don't know, she just has something spec---: I interrupt. 

"What about her? She's just as normal as the rest of the girls in this world. She's average." I was irritated by my own voice at this point. 

She's anything but average. 

Those two words pierced my heart. "She's average". I don't know why I said that. I don't know my feelings yet. I don't even know how to deal with them. This is all new to me.

"Sorry for bringing it up bro." Taec says. 

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone off at you like that." I sigh. 

"By the way, why the sudden question?" I curiously ask. 

"Oh. I was just wondering. That's all." He answers shyly. 

"Oh, okay. Then let me ask you?" I say. 

"Hm? What is it?" He seems a bit too calm. 

"What do you think about Da Yoon?" I ask coldly again. I couldn't control my feelings. 

"Well." He started. 

"Well?" I repeated. 

"Like I said, there's something special about her." He says looking away. 

"Do you like her?" I ask him. In a way, I already knew the answer. But I hoped that I was wrong. 

The silence that was spread already gave me the answer. It's not like I could say "No, you can't like her because I like her". I just have to accept it. I don't even know if I actually like her or not. Until I figure out my feelings, I can't mess with other peoples. It just makes me so angry.

"It happened all of a sudden." Taecyeon finally speaks. 

"When did you start liking her?" I ask. 

"Ever since we picked her up." He answers smiling. 

"Picked her up from where?" I ask confused by his broad answer. 

"From Chicago." He answers with that same smile plastered on his face. 

"Oh." I kept my answer short and simple. 

"Yeah..........But I'm not that great at expressing my feelings.........unlike you." He softly chuckles. 

"Well, that's for sure." I couldn't help but smile. Taecyeon really CAN'T express himself. I feel sorry, but I don't at the same time. It would be harder for him to confess to Da Yoon. 

"You'll help me, right?" He asks using his non-existing aegyo. 

"Thats when I felt like my eyes and ears were about to pop out of my head any second. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. How can he ask me such a question?! How am I supposed to help my best friend hook up with the girl that I MAYBE love? This does not make any sense whats-so-ever.

"So....you'll help me, right?" He says again. This time more seriously. 

"Y-yeah....O-Of course. You're my brother after all." I lied. 

"Thanks! You really are the best!" He says excitedly.
